Looks like the exact conversation that happened 🤣. AEW really dropped the ball with this one. They should've left it with thq and yukes and not stuck there nose in. Minigames was aews idea and it is awful. They cut so much potential amazing content out of this game so they could add mini games. And now all dlc will have more minigames. Why are they continuing to waste there time on content nobody wants to play. Give us more wrestlers, give us more match types, give us more game modes, and give us a more in depth and less childish story mode. Read to elite is terrible and that's just another of AEW Fight FoRefunds biggest problems.
Honorable Mention: No Mercy has reasonably smart CPU. Where matches could be entertaining when watching CPU vs CPU. AEW FF CPU is dumb and matches last about 3 min.
In future updates AEW definitely needs to add MORE match types to their games like the match types in WWE2K23, Triple Threat tag matches, tornado tag matches, gauntlet matches, two on two tornado tag matches, (one-one, table matches, ladder matches, 2 out of 3 falls matches, elimination matches) etc. Basically all of those.
While I'm having some fun with FF, it screams "unfinished project"! The gameplay is indeed very akin to No Mercy, but the rest of the game can't hold a candle to it. The fact there's no multi-person ladder matches, no cage match, no iron man or last man standing matches is preposterous! Also there's no real game modes outside standard exhibition and the lacking RTE. A simple addition of create-a-PPV would be a huge step into adding replay value to a game released at such a price point.
I agree but with that said I understand they asked Kenny did he want downloadable CAW in the early stages in production and he said no.. later they said it was requested but it was too late into development to add it, but I feel we complained an screemed when is it coming out over an over an they said fine we'll give you what you ask for but a few more months I feel could've added those things, now we'll get. DLC content an gameplay fixes "hopefully" foundation is great tho, could've did without mini games tho!

Even WWE 2K with all its flaws doesn't leave out this many people off the roster, especially talent that has been with the company the entire time. It's not like they left and returned after the cutoff date. Also, the game had a couple of months after its initial "coming soon" announcement and it feels like in that time they only polished a couple of models that looked awful and nothing more. For instance Road To Elite is as barren as the TNA game and adds very little reply value since you can't even defend the titles won, form stables that integrate into the storyline, have interconnected angles and branching from previous storylines.
@NickPR87 hey I agree, I bought TNA as well an that felt like it was missing 80% of the most wanted roster so it does feel like they are asking Kenny the wrong questions like why are most belts missing, an main factions not included, your current women's champ not in the game, im enjoying the game to be honest but why the kickout, submission system is broken on launch is indeed mind blowing. Kenny being a gamer makes all this crazy, we get mini games an fortnite wrestling but I just want AEW the wrestling game to take president!

Not a completely fair comparison. No Mercy was like the 6th in the series. This game is starting from scratch in an era you don't get 6 games to build assets.

At 03:08 , just to be clear, you CAN play dead in Fight Forever, to a certain extent. Whenever you're character is in "groggy/stunned" state, you can actually still wake up out of it to attack/counter when you choose to with proper timing.

True, but it's important to remember that No Mercy wasn't the first game in the series. It took AKI 5 years of development, and multiple entries in that series (Virtual Pro Wrestling, WCW vs the World, WCW/NWO World Tour, VPW 64, WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF Wrestlemania, VPW2, and WWF No Mercy) to reach that stage.

I don't know why or how aew fight forever so bad I mean it really was so damned disappointing and me personally I had pre-ordered it and I couldn't even refund it cuz full price is ridiculous for what it is it has potential that's why I pre-ordered it cuz I knew it always would but I didn't expect what I got there's not many match types the career mode is trash Awful there's a lot of gameplay flaws and stuff that doesn't even make sense to be in there cuz it has no value and oh my God why do they still have the mashing the goddamn mashing is so bad 5 out of 10 I could go off even creation is so bad it's one of the worst I've ever seen for a wrestling game

To me, the lack of any backstage is the worst offender. Tables also need to be fixed, and weapons disappearing after only two hits is unacceptable.
The backstages may be arriving in a future update. Fight Forever is going to have long term DLC.

For Me Biggest problem with WWF No Mercy Was You Cannot Reverse Finisher
The reverse finisher or block on Fight Forever is good.
You can reverse the grapple before it and flying finishers like regular.
