I really like the buffs and debuffs in this game. Scratching your opponents eyes causes the "disoriented" debuff for a short time. Sometimes getting the first attack in a match also gives you the "1st attack buff".
I love the detail of the thumbtacks sticking to the body after getting slammed down onto it, makes it more realistic and feel painful especially the blood shown.
@@Brndn350Z You need to be close to the guardrail and then press R2 on PlayStation, find a weapon until you pull out the thumbtacks, and then you need to have a signature stored. I think you press R3 to spread the thumbtacks.

Man this is so much better than what I've seen with 2K. Granted these graphics are looking dated but that doesn't matter when you can play hours and have fun. It reminds me when video games use to be fun. 2K should listen because this is what the fans want.

Make the matches longer maybe through a pin escape minigame, make ladder matches shorter, finishers should be toned down or the health increased to several layers like 2k. Overall the game has potential.
In WWE games I give Bianca Belair the Daniel Bryan comeback (The Dragon IIRC) so she can do that backflip... the ladder lean thing is also doable and you can run up to them. The physics are just wonky. I gotta try this game and see if it's more playable. I miss chain wrestling so much! It was one of few good things in 2k20.
I know people don't like to admit it (aside from all the glitches) the very base game of 2k20 was great. (No community creations, arenas, etc) I do still play 2k19 more than 2k22 or 2k23... just wish the servers were still up for more recent downloads from cc. I still play 2k19 aew universe mode the most but my roster is now outdated lol 🤷♂️
This game is 🔥. Alot more enjoyable to play than 2k imo and I’m a simhead. Crowd is dope. Hopefully they continue to build on this. Appreciate the video a lot of this stuff I didn’t know

0:58 why do the weapons disappear? One thing I really dislike in these games is when you break a table and the pieces disappear. Would be great if you could break off pieces and use those as weapons. Piling up chairs in the ring and suplexing opponents on that pile would be great as well.
I wrestled against MJF and he would do shit like taunt in between moves, amd when I was striking him did the thing where he drops to his knees and begs for mercy before poking me in the eye and also when i went outside the ring he stayed in the ring and just ran around and kept doing his suck it taunt lmao thought that was pretty neat
I bought PlayStation wwe games year after year hoping that one year it would be as good as no mercy. Eventually gave up after about 7 iterations. Now about 20 years later the wwe games still seem to be the exact same game I was playing 25 years ago and finally there’s a game that’s as a good as no mercy on the PlayStation

AEW is lucky, has conditioned fans to accept mediocre tv with awful booking, paying for ppvs that announce matches 2 days before and even pay £50 for a mobile phone game. This… this is crap, it’s broken, unfinished, looks unforgivably bad, so much money to produce this? Insane, no entrances, game modes are rubbish, hardcore 1 on 1 only? Awful CAW, broken matches, too much of Don Stevens. This would be ok on the iPhone, for £4.99. I could play HCTP or no mercy for hours every day, no boredom, this isn’t even as good as warzone/attitude or raw. Stop letting them throw shiz at you and just take it. For £50 the game should bd finished especially when it’s graphically pathetic and as deep as Matt Jackson’s personality

I'm very impressed with the small details they added to this game and the fun Factor so incredible and reminds me of the old wrestling games
They need to clean up some things like the pin/submission system and targeting but great base so far
