Wow, thank you. As an emotional person who feels things deeply this teaching clears up a lot of misconceptions and gives me excellent guidance for the future. It also reminds me to look to Biblical principles, get balanced advice, and to pray further before acting on an emotional impulse. Also, this teaching confirmed to me that the sense that I get of knowing the heart of the Father, is likely really the heart of the Father. I just have to realize that my own emotions get mixed in there and instead of jumping to conclusions, I have to pray and wait on the Father for clarification.

Thank you, John! That was both interesting and edifying teaching. By the way, I've really enjoyed reading your book. I don't want to rush through it cause I feel there's so many things that I need to contemplate. In my opinion it is very special book that every christian should read.

G'day John, thanks for the teaching.
can I ask u a question... In scripture Christ sent out disciples to heal and preach the gospel as instructed by Christ which I assume was of a short peroid of time as they came back to report... was that a one off situation. So should we (I) also go out to the streets, pray for people, preach the gospel or should we have a calling to do so? I give out bread as a gift and use that as an opportunity to ask if they would like prayer, let them know about Christ. Been doing it for a while but begin questioning if its just me wanting to do something or God wants us to do it .....Im stuck. Maybe Im not hearing right. Its harder and harder to do it and I dont even like doing it. Havent seen results much. But the I dont want to just give up because I dont see results knowing that maybe God works with all those I have met in the past 3 years. Thanks.

Hi Peter, thanks for the question and thanks for your honesty. I have taught a lot about NT evangelism, which does not resemble the very limited times the Lord sent the disciples. The first time He said take no wallet or supplies, the next time He said arm yourself with sword, have your wallet. In Luke 9 He sent them 'before His face' as He headed to Jerusalem.
I teach a lot about the spheres of relationships in the NT, because that is how they evangelized. They are: Family, friends, neighbors, coworkers. With the occasional 'person of peace'. That 'person of peace' from Luke 10: 3-9 is a person who doesn't know the Lord but is peaceful to you - without sharing your faith at all, they are peaceful towards you.
Look at Acts - Paul went to those who already believed in God. The one time he didn't, Mars Hill in Athen in Acts 17, he failed miserably, with only a handful of people born again.
Repeatedly, if you look at the relationships of the NT, faith was shared within the family, and outward to neighbors, friends, coworkers - from John 1: 40- when Andrew brought his brother Peter to Jesus, to Philip who was of the same town, who then introduced his friend to Jesus. Family, friends, neighbors. In Luke 5:10 we are told Peter, James, and John were business partners in a fishing business - coworkers.
Historically we know what I share above is true, for the church grew house to house, family to family, neighbors to neighbors over 200+ years to become legalized and 'the' faith in the Roman Empire.
The exception is the true NT evangelist, of whom Philip is the only example - Acts 8 in Samaria is a great example. His ministry was to the unbelievers, but even then there were many Christians there for we are told in 8: 1-2 that all disciples left Jerusalem and moved to Samaria and Judea, due to persecution. So even then the unsaved he brought to the Lord, and healed, and got delivered, had home based churches to go into...a community and family of faith....hope that helps. John

I really do appreciate your teaching s! Thank you! I have a question that is different than this subject. I hope you don't mind. I was wondering if we can teach ourselves to be seeres or is that gift for special people only?

Hi 'sister' - A 'Seer' is as I Samuel 9:9 says, another name for a prophet. That is God's doing, BUT...and this is huge - as I had said in early videos, I can teach a person how to be sensitive, like in the series I did the last couple weeks about how the Lord taught me to be sensitive, how to switch between my spirit man's senses and the natural senses....and I have several cd's and MP3's on it - My gift to you if you email me at cwowi@aol.com which is my direct email. Happy to email you MP3 links or if you are in the US, cd if you prefer. Blessings, John

Hi sir I have a question to ask you that has been on my heart, I have been going to a charismatic church for a while now and I love it because the presence of the lord is always present and powerful in there.
but something happened this week that I can’t explain and I don’t know why it scares me perhaps Its because I don’t understand it...
there was a person in the congregation this week while we were worshiping the lord and praying in tongues that started doing holy laughter.
it’s not something I am used to and I don’t want to be afraid of something that may be from God because of ignorance that will hinder my growth in him.
I just don’t know what to make of it...
    is this normal...
I never want to put the working of the holly spirit in the box or speak out against the workings holly spirit ever, I am so afraid of that...
but I just want to be able to decern correctly and with god’s wisdom I never want to fall into deception it’s my prayer always.
I know that joy is one of the fruits of the spirit but it sounded strange not like natural laughter.🙈
I am just wondering if this is something that you have ever dealt with and if this is something that may have been revealed to you...
could please help give me your Thoughts and revelation on this me I would be so grateful & blessed by it.

Hi Hungry Souls, thanks for writing. I'll try to help and if what I share below doesn't completely answer for you, please email me personally at cwowi@aol.com and I'll fill in any blanks I miss in this public forum. I'll explain some of the possibilities and why below.
I have seen 'holy laughter' that is indeed sometimes the Lord, and I've seen that which is called 'holy laughter' be a person completely in the flesh. And there can be a sort of 'group think' where one person has a genuine touch from the Lord and then others in the flesh join in the laughing....with a mix of flesh and that one person or more perhaps, of God.
There are 6 OT uses of 'laughter' and some 38 total uses of 'laugh' in both NT and OT, most of them having to do with either the Lord putting laughter in our mouths or hearts, or that He will turn (for example) mourning into laughing. With a reference in James to stop your laughing and start mourning and repenting. (James 4:9 when he says to humble ourselves and seek God).
Laughter in this day and age can be a release of stress, a release of emotion pent up due to the constraints of life, and sometimes when someone like a pastor or guest minister indicates they will let it happen, someone will start laughing and often it will catch others up in it.
As with anything God, there is the legitimate and there is the counterfeit, and there is the flesh.
The legitimate starts in a person's spirit, and is a release of joy their mind doesn't know why or how, and it bubbles up out of them and they start laughing, often in an almost trance-like, very personal sort of inner and deep well of laughter - it always heals something inside them when it is of the Lord.
Then there is the flesh - an emotional release. I've seen that with people who because I've known some of them, highly suspected at the time they were laughing to draw attention to themselves, to make everyone look at them, etc.
A key is what was going on in the service. The Holy Spirit never interrupts Himself, so that is the guideline. In other words, a teacher won't be teaching an anointed word from the Lord, and then the Holy Spirit starts also stirring a person in laughter - that would be Him interrupting Himself. That person would be in the flesh, unless that teacher felt it was of God and that they were to be quiet and let it happen.
What is NOT God is when the speaker is trying to teach and the congregation starts laughing over the speaker - that's just flesh, a speaker not familiar with or confused in and of themselves on what to do.
I've had it happen when I've spoken, and once it was clear it was a demon in a person - the seeking attention type and wasn't even just the flesh, the person had a demonic and emotional issue. But I cast the spirit out and we went on. I didn't allow that demon to interrupt me sharing about my time with the Lord.
You didn't mentioned how the pastor handled it...but sometimes they truly don't know what to do, and few pastors have the guts to shut down something out of order going on...far easier to ignore it and hope it ends when the person sees they are not becoming the center of attention (a strong indicator it was their flesh), or just go on about the business of the service - depends on the pastor and how mature they are. Hope that helps...don't know the details of that situation. But there is a laughter from God, that brings healing and is highly personal and deep. And there is the flesh... Blessings, John
