    Got all the basic components off Alibaba for less than $10, including a battery case for some serial 35A 18650's because I have those in plenty and it saves me spending on the power supply. Battery operated will work just fine for my requirements and the printed case will be stored for my dreams. But having this in a SAB is way better than open flame, that's for sure. Thank you for making this video!

      Thats cool do u just wire the 18650s in series?

    • @tonyoffermans3676
      @tonyoffermans3676 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep needs to be in series as they are 3,7V each and the device needs 5V-12V. That battery case comes prewired in series and holds 3 batteries (you can get all sorts) @@MycoDogs

    I like this guy, he seems alright. I watch all the big and regular mush channels that everyone watches, but Myco Dogs and Yoshi Amano are about the same size and I love watching the smaller channels with their easily explained, right in your face instructions. Life is pain, ageing is inevitable, and existence is truly hell, but I feel relief, solidarity, and mild comfort watching these. I'm probably the most miserable person on earth, but somehow I found your channel and learned just a little bit more on my somewhat new inverted and twisted hobby/journey.
    I always wondered why people want to show other people how to do these practices correctly (if we remove the very mild income incentive) Like why go through the effort of explaining all this? For what purpose? Is there some website trying to be promoted? Maybe you truly believe people can be helped and live a healthier and happier life. All relationships are just transactional so what does it matter? I'm curious on what is driving you as I myself have no desire, drive, interest (has to be forced for this write up) or motivation. You seem like a really cool dude who I'm sure would be chill to be around. I wish you the best brother, and that intro music on the other videos or other site wherever I heard it was absolutely sick.

      I used to watch willy myco in like 2015 and when he got banned from youtube the first time i made a video to teach people how to grow cause i want people to know and 2 years later i logged in and it had like 100k views and i was like guess ima youtuber now, i hope to quit my job some day doing this but i dont like making filler content just to drive views so its a dichotomy i have to deal with

    You need to use rosin to clean location of solder. Each an every time before use. Also, pre solder is advised.

    Love this man, just ordered parts to build one of these. I think around $44 not counting a new soldering iron and clamp. My old iron is some cave man shit not suitable for small projects. But this is totally worth it man, even the cheapest sterilizers run $150 thank you thank for this video

    Dude I would love to make this and upgrades for this! I recycled a ton of vape batteries for future use so I could definitely do something with those to make it independent from wall outlets. A second upgrade I would like to add a motion detector to it so it detects something going into the coil and then it turns the coil on (a flip switch on it so there’s not any passive battery draining.)
    The ideas are flowing!! I’ll message you on discord with updates when I’m working on it!

    i dont mind lead free in this use because it just requires a much hotter iron but it also does have a higher melting temp which is mildly useful in this case and i think 5-6A power bricks are enough 10a maybe why you sometimes fry the boards . for dynavap heating they use a 4A brick and just shorten the coil a little and i know a 6a brick is enough without shortening the coil

    hello! great video! I'm finding some problems using/building my DYI heat induction. I already try 2 different power supplies, 12V-6A and 12V-4.5A and none of them worked. I can only see a blinking led in both power supply and the mini ZVS board. can help with that?

  • @geldan

    You dont actually have to solder the coil, you can just bend it a little and use the terminals

    • @user-qm3ft2ur2e
      @user-qm3ft2ur2e 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You sure can but those terminals are absolute dogshit. They will melt if the heater is used often.

      Thanks for the super man, to answer your question you can use either the pads on the board or the screws, if ur using the case I designed u gotta solder it to the pads, when ur soldering it up its good to line up the coil leads up with the spacing case so it fits well
