Here comes another tip from Mr. Cromwell! Might buy a pizza... but I'm on a diet right now. You know I was about 220 lbs a few months back, but I started this diet that has me down to 174.2 today. Not bad yeah? Takes a lot of sheer willpower to ignore being hungry though. The Wolfhound? This Mech is badass especially now that PPC-X is a thing. Tbh, this thing fed people grimmace shakes even before PPC-X was out, but now it's out of control.
@@GitGudFox That is outstanding, being overweight is perhaps the top 3 killer of folks. What I mean is, all the side affects of being overweight. I don't know my weight, but, I am very sure it's unhealthy...working it though..slowly. In fact, you've motivated me back to to the cycle. We should do that...get healthier, don't you think? ;-)
I think my main 2 pieces of advice for weight loss are these. 1) It involves being hungry. There are strategies to manage the hunger like intermittent faster, but some days? You just have to deal with being hungry for hours. It's basically controlled starvation, and it's stressful and painful in its own way. A necessary part of the process. 2) You have to forgive yourself when you fail. It's easy to use your internal voice to yell at yourself for not being "strong enough" but it requires a lot of grit to push through the painful process of dieting, and it isn't fair to expect one's self to succeed on the first try... or 2nd try... or third try. Those are 2 piece of advice that helped me. A mixture of acceptance and forgiveness.
The fact that the lore goes over how how kurita specifically decided to make a mech to counter the wolf and failed is what makes it so great in my eyes
Yeah, I had debated whether or not to put in some information about the Wolftrap, but I figured from a realistic perspective, Commander Fox wouldn't know what a Wolftrap is.
"Coordinator, you know how those honorless Lyrans have been demolishing our Panther and Jenner forces with their wretched Wolfhound BattleMechs?" "Yes, engineer." "I have designed a BattleMech built to hunt down and kill the Wolfhound." "Tell me more." "It is ten tons heavier, fifty percent more expensive, moves the same speed, and... can't reliably... kill... its intended... target..." "Go on..." "It is almost guaranteed to be destroyed if its right torso armor is breached in any way." "Good news, engineer." "Yes, Coordinator?" "You get to dine with your ancestors tonight."
I'm old army so starving(craving of intake) really isn't a concern...it's most definitely beer (Heavy Guinness) and laziness (Couch/computer)...combine those elements and well, you get fat. Recently, looking at a more healthy regime...who knows? You have clearly taken a step in the right direction, may that trend care forth. I'll use you as an example in my becoming the human masterpiece ;-) All the best. Cheers. PS: Gotten a bit off track...back to the game. ;-)

Highly recommend warhammer 6R built into a hot hammer then add dual ppc x, mine needs some better torso turning though but slaps, definitely need to tinker with the champion given these new weapons
Effectiveness would be drastically reduced. A normal PPC is fantastically less effective than a PPC-X to the point that you would use a large laser instead most likely.
Since it's only released in 3028, I think that should probably downgrade its commonality a little since the player will have moved beyond light mechs by then. Theres still some uses for it, but the fact you only get it when you're maybe using a single light mech in your lance because of tonnage if even makes it a lot less common when it matters imo. That said. the battlepod trainign for this one also seems unrealistic. a level 17 difficulty mission would not be something many by that year still attempt on a normal start, which is what a beginner would be going for. It's more worthwhile to see how the mech performs as the one light mech in a heavier lance.
Maybe, I do try to just list things as they are labelled as that's the way I can be unbiased, but an argument could be made that it's biased to just go by the labels and not consider the common perception of the situation.
@@GitGudFox I'm not 100% sure what you mean by biased in this case. I guess you mean you're searching for the most objective/useful metric to use? I think either way your video's have been very useful through my first career!
Thanks!

I enjoy using chemical lasers on mechs. They're a great energy hardpoint option that has amazing endurance.
It's hard to appreciate how much cooler they run until you see the math laid out.

Yes, I might be using the streams as a way to do Mech research... which means the next Mech could be the Hunchback or Wolverine.
Highly recommend warhammer 6R built into a hot hammer then add dual ppc x, mine needs some better torso turning though but slaps, definitely need to tinker with the champion given these new weapons
Yeah you can do a dual PPC-X or even just a single PPC-X with a battery of lasers as support. Both will work well even without lostech.
Will a normal PPC work, or no? :/
Effectiveness would be drastically reduced. A normal PPC is fantastically less effective than a PPC-X to the point that you would use a large laser instead most likely.

LOL. I guess House Steiner really DOES have more cents than sense. To counter the Panther...they built a Panther?
Well, from the lore perspective, the Wolfhound cleaned house.
