All we need is not just a win over Detroit, but Rodgers continuing to improve with his young playmakers. There's still a gap on offense between G.B. and teams like S.F. and Philly, but stranger things have happened. Having Baklarti healthy is one great positive.
@@jeffryhammel3035 yeah for sure man, my issue with rodgers has always been that he depends solely on 1 or 2 people. When devante adams left I knew it would be rough because that was his go to guy every play.
@@1papajorgio This is so true! Like Hill on K.C., Adams changed Green Bay's offense. Still, Devante going to Vegas brought the Packers so fine young talent. Green Bay wouldn't have gotten those Georgia D guys, and it enabled the team to draft Watson and Doubs. It might be too early to see all the effects of everything if Green Bay beats Detroit, but hell ya - it's still Aaron Rodgers running the O. Maybe after a brutal 17 game season, Aaron and the rookie receivers can make a showing versus a 49ers or Vikings or Philly or Dallas team. It's pretty exciting for Pack fans anyway, especially coming to life like Lazuras after that horrible losing streak. Hoping you watch the Detroit/Packers game on Sunday night.
No they're not. Defense has been looking awesome the last six quarters, but the Packers are still a mediocre team. Just their record actually reflects that, where the Vikings are much worse than their record.
@@TheRealMightyMouse32 the Packers are not awesome on special teams but they're much improved in the return game. A blocked punt led to Green Bay losing against the 49ers last year, again we led for almost the entire time. The blocked punt to start was a nightmare to see, but that goal line stands seem to really invigorate the whole defense. I think that was honestly such a confidence boost
@@HaeravonFAQs Agreed. The Packer's offense is nowhere near that of teams like S.F. or Philly. But with Baklarti back and Watson-Doubs-Lazard finally playing TOGETHER, Green Bay still has time to make that offense better.
@@HaeravonFAQs Packers fan that agrees 1000%. It’s just hard to accept the fact that your team is mediocre when they have a game like they did tonight: scoring on all phases. Rodgers might have not been perfect, although he played well, but he's footwork and legs are starting to peak at the right time. He's really looking rejuvenated and moving around great back there. It's all starting to come together. If Rodgers has a big game in the future, this team is extremely dangerous to say the least. Vikes fan here. I know the Packers had more to play for which DOES make a difference, but this game showed that we will definitely be one and done in the playoffs. Been a great season, nearly all the games were tremendously entertaining, which after all is the whole point of pro sports. Great first season for the Kwesi/OConnell regime, but lets not kid ourselves, the 49ers, Eagles, Pack and even the Bucs will be too much for this squad in the playoffs. I wouldnt be surprised if we experienced a remake of the 2000 NFC Championship game vs the Giants "41 - Donut"
Eh they were on the road and don't really care anymore. But that's not to say I'm looking forward to a single extra game lol were at least in the playoffs, should just rest everyone honestly. Maybe they sort of were who knows.
Yes! IF G.B. beats Detroit, there is still time for the young Packer playmakers to improve. That's where teams like Philly and S.F. hold the advantage.
6:27 idk if fans/viewers/etc. understand how much of a masterpiece this play really is. Rodgers pocket was breaking down and he literally reset the pocket by stepping out of the pressure and delivering a beauty! I’m gonna miss 12. Good luck with the Jets. I’m a New Yorker saying this.
Rodgers isnt an old timer yet :D and not playing against a 6-9 Panthers divisional. I'd love to see Brady and Rodgers in the North....but no one else would , LOL
@Stone Cold You can disagree, but I definitely have a firm foundation calling him an old timer. He is the second oldest starting qb behind tom. So him and Brady are the oldest, which is what i meant when i said the two old timers (literally the two oldest). Also, with an average retirement age of 36 for qbs, he is almost 40. @@babygoon25hrs actually I'm a 49ers fan. Of all the teams the packers have this elated sense of superiority and elitism. Just wanna remind em they got sent home right before the Superbowl with that one kick. And let's not talk about what happened years before that, wich led to greenbay hating 49ers

The camera angle on that kick return ........ brilliant
The punter was scared to tackle him. Lol
I didnt like it at first cuz u could see how open the back field was, but when I saw the kicker miss I blew up cuz I knew he was the last.
Jaire Alexander was all up in Justin Jefferson’s head from the very first snap.

Yeah he was in his head ever since Jaire called him out saying week 1 was a fluke.
For real bro JJ couldn’t stop crying
NO excuse AT ALL for Greg Joseph to not make that tackle on the kick return touchdown, he was RIGHT there🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
So I was worried when Alexander was talking real big but he backed it up and some. GPG!!! Let’s get it next week
Bless Cousins Heart. He was still giving out Gifts a week after Christmas.

The fact that Jefferson celebrated his first down and one and only rec on the day I comical. Jaire his daddy 😂
Packers hitting on all Cylinders today! Go Packers!
Up and down as a Vikings Fan
Too many injured Oline and new center making mistakes, just need to get reorganized and recuperated then we'll be back in the game.
But it definitely looked bad with all the flags we had.
Hate them sometimes
I had hopes for Vikings! WhAAAAt happened?!😪
@@ancapgrandscribe9546 sounds like you are talking about the Packers' entire season.
I was at this game and had Darnell savage do the lambeau leap right to me. The greatest experience of my life!
I’m excited I know we still need another win to make it to the playoffs but to see us start terribly and get into a groove is something special. Go pack go
All we need is not just a win over Detroit, but Rodgers continuing to improve with his young playmakers. There's still a gap on offense between G.B. and teams like S.F. and Philly, but stranger things have happened. Having Baklarti healthy is one great positive.
Packers offense isn't very good. 😄😆😆😆😆
Good job Watson on the first down.❤
Congratulations 🎉🎁🎁
Talk about a No Fun League. That tackle by the Packers defense that looked like a "wrestling move" shouldn't have been flagged. It looked dope 🤙🎉
our defense really stepped up this game
When they lost Rashan Gary for the season I thought they were done. Well, not yet.
@@kryer981 i hate losing
This was a very good game for the packers they are a good team especially good offense and defense.
No they're not. Defense has been looking awesome the last six quarters, but the Packers are still a mediocre team. Just their record actually reflects that, where the Vikings are much worse than their record.
Packers defense and special teams are amazing, but the offense is mediocre at best. That sort of evens it out.
There is nothing special about this team like in 10-11. I just hope they’re able to turn water to wine this season. I think all the teams in the NFC playoffs are flawed
Rodgers might have not been perfect, although he played well, but he's footwork and legs are starting to peak at the right time. He's really looking rejuvenated and moving around great back there. It's all starting to come together. If Rodgers has a big game in the future, this team is extremely dangerous to say the least. As for the rest of what we saw on defense and special teams, it speaks for itself
Agreed bro
Crazy Rodgers didn’t even have a spectacular game and we still lose by this much
didn't have to defense and special teams took away any hope from the ViQueens

Two of the greatest active quarterbacks getting huge wins for their respective ball clubs!
Tom Brady sending the Bucs to virtually clinching the NFC South title. That was awesome! Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, helping his Packers provide a dominant statement win over a team who's playoff-bound already!
Brady got the rings; but man, I always appreciate watching the 2 best quarterbacks of this Century. Amazing and so intelligent guys!
15-24 for 159 and 1 TD is not "epic". That is merely average.

@SamoaVsEverybody_814 we can’t overlook them tho.
Yea as a Packers fan I’m still not sure which team this game said more about
Eh they were on the road and don't really care anymore. But that's not to say I'm looking forward to a single extra game lol were at least in the playoffs, should just rest everyone honestly. Maybe they sort of were who knows.

Beautiful, both the old timers pulled it out today. I love it.
So you can disagree but it is perfectly reasonable for me to call him one.
