My grandson just turned 18, I told him 2 months ago I'd take him to see Arch Enemy,got the tickets today,his first ever concert, Dublin September 23rd,bone crushing metal,Arch Enemy and Behemoth, gonna be memorable.
I skipped that show bcuz of Behemoth support. Also, missed the next AE tour bcuz of getting through a terrible divorce. Now Jeff L. has left so who knows if I'll go see them again? To me, his music is what fueled & took AE to new heights..!!
This is the best In Flames-song I've heard in 20 years. Joke aside, this song had a killer chorus, chugging guitars verse and an amazing melody. Awesome! Cant wait for the whole album. :)

Anyone else feels that this song is an evolution of sorts of their old song We Will Rise? Evolving from the group perspective of We Will Rise to an individual's perspective in In The Eye of the Storm? The music too shares some of the themes of their older albums but in a new heavier more extrovert manner.

I've had the album in my hands for a few days now and I love every single track on it. Every one of them has a hook that grabs me and drags me in, but In The Eye Of The Storm has a certain melodic quality that instantly evokes memories of an earlier time in my life when I was just exploring the expansive realm of music, and the low brass intro has definitely got a Hans Zimmer Tibetan warhorn feel to it. An epic track.

The Growls are too loud, Guitars are not loud enough and have an awful Sound a bit like a Keyboard. The Song is good ,but the Sound is not realy Heavy.

This song caught me a little off guard. Arch Enemy always known for their hard-driving beats and great guitar riffs hit a new high with me. The melodic riffs coupled with Alissa's distorted and natural vocals were a very nice surprise. Michael and Jeff's guitar play was outstanding and showed lots of power and finesse. Killer song!
I don't know why this song has relatively not that much views on TH-cam since in live shows it is the most anticipated, celebrated and sing along song in the band's entire catalog.
There are several great things to say about this! The into drums are killer! The guitar riffs are very melodic but give a dark heavy touch at the same time, with excellent riffs guitar blending, and duos. As for the vocals, Alissa has always been an incredible vocalist but has brought it to the next level with this! Somehow her vocals sound deeper, darker, and more aggressive than before! This definitely has an old-school Doomsday Machine feel to me, with some new touches which is killer! Amazing work AE! 🤘
