    I remember seeing 100 year old pictures of this, especially cuz this is in my home state. This line was abandoned in the 20s when the Moffat Tunnel was built.

      Pretty odd, I was just talking about this with some other discord friends about the matter. So basically I posted a picture of me blowing a whistle on a steam engine, the mods didn’t take it too kindly and said they “didn’t give a shit about me”. They continue to harass me until the meanest mod on the server banned me out of anger.

      @@trey50studios91 Yes. The mods were the ones that were picking on me. also after I got banned they said the ban was justified, which i disagree.

    Hello posters, i am the Lead of the Team who created this route. It was created by GianFranco Messaggi, Jango, a leading route maker from Italy who is part of the TrainzItalia Site and also of the Trainz community for many years. He is a master of his craft and I was honored to be the Lead, and one of the main modellers and the leader of the research and development of the route project over three years leading to its release as Freeware in 2017 December. We dedicated our work and the project to the amazing efforts that went into the buildings of the highest non cog railroad in the United States starting in 1904 by David Moffat and the men who kept the railroad running thru all kinds of weather. All of the rolling stock and custom locomotives were created for this project or converted with the kind permission of the makers to be as accurate as possible using plans, builders photos and all available records and the assistance of the Denver & Salt Lake Historical Society. We are donating copies of the rote to museums, and historical associations and it is shared freely at the Trainz Italia Site once you register there again at no charge. We created the entire roster of locomotives and rolling stock, all with accurate weights and DIMS and also recreated all of the towns along this section of the route from Tolland thru Ladora, Antelope, Corona, Arrow, Irvings, Fraser and ending at the Section HQ at Tabernash. All of the infrastructure, Yards, sidings and industries along the route are portrayed in detail and also included is an 8 mile side track to three logging camps also portrayed in full detail along the St. Louis Creek in the Fraser Valley. All of the details of the route are as authentic as possible for that era.
    The credits at the end of this film which is very nicely made, are for the film not the project itself. The Creator of the route is Giafranco Mesaggi, Jango, I was Team Lead, Chris Gerlach and I designed the various town sites, locations and made over 900 of the model assets for the route, and Bob Denning was the Trainmaster and oversaw creation of the Roster, working with the makers and experts on our team, Wayne Campbell made the rolling stock, Paul Gorski was also part of the team making both structure models and some of the rolling stock, and John Emmot of the Denver and Salt Lake Historical Society was our historical Expert and reviewed and advised on all historical information on the route and the rolling stock. The locomotives were made by Ben Neal of SubPar Productions and he made a custom Consolidation 2-8-0 for us, TrainBoi made the Climax Logging locomotive on the logging spur, the rotaries were specially adjusted by Paul on our team to give the excellent steam and snow effects.
    the last portion of the view was NOT part of the route, the tunnel was NOT included in the 1910 version of the route as it was not completed until 1928, not sure how that got into the video but the rest of the film which was very nicely made does show our authentic route and rolling stock well. We were honoured to have this chance to tell the story of this remarkable railroad and the achievements of the men and women who made it possible and Uncle Dave Moffat who has the vision to open up Colorado trade and industry to the western part of the nation with the tunnel that bears his name. To achieve this, he had to build the route up over the 11,000 foot pass to make the proof of concept and sadly he passed away before the tunnel was built. After his death, the railroad had to go thru a reorganization and became the Denver & Salt Lake RR and continued in operation into the last 1940s when it was bought.
    I am glad to see our project so nicely portrayed in this film and you can contact me thru the Trainz Forum by the name of CrisGer there is a thread there on our route project you can post on.

      CrisGerSan thank you very much for all of the time and effort spent in doing this. My favorite stretch of railroad comes back to life in this amazing rendition.

      So bad most computers cannot run TANE or higher, and there isn't a version for Trainz 12/lower. Personally my PC can't run Trainz 12 without lag and FPS issues
      And most people wont upgrade their PCs just so they can run a Trainz game to run a route that they REALLY want.

    Nicely done rendering. I am happy to say I drove the "Giant's Ladder" frpm end to end when it was still fully passable including the neddle's eye tunnel and trestles. and later rode through the tunnel on the California Zepher. This added touches I had not thought of like that Corona and Arrow were actually small towns. even if just railroad worker towns. Closest thing we have today if Donner Pass.

    The sound file on the 300 is messed up. There are too many chuffs per revolution, overlooking this fact, this route, locos and rolling stock are amazing

    Is this TRS 2019 because the lighting actually looks good for once

    • @CrisGerSan
      @CrisGerSan 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It runs fine in both TR 2019 but the lighting was made for TANE

    • @CrisGerSan
      @CrisGerSan 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      both TANE and 2019 works fine

    • @robertbalazslorincz8218
      @robertbalazslorincz8218 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks good but at what cost? The route because of the Trainz version isnt too flexible. Not a lot of computers can run TRS 2019, or even TANE. My PC (which has a decent amount of money put into it) barely can run TS 12 or below. Still it is LAGGY.
      And not a lot of people will put a lot more into their PC just so they can run a game so they can use a route.

    The DNW&P was badly financed at the time, no wonder it later became the Denver & Salt Lake in 1913.

    I think this route is the final link in the virtual railroad history of America puzzle.
    A brief rundown of every decade a route is set in (that I'm aware of)
    > 1860s, Railworks 150th anniversary routes.
    > 1870s, See above
    > 1890s, MSTS Ozark Northern
    > 1900s, MSTS, St Louis & North Arkansas/New York 1904
    > 1910s, Trainz, Rollins Pass: Winter 1910
    > 1920s, Railworks, Bessemer & Lake Erie
    > 1930s, Railworks, Cascadian: Stevens Pass Under Wire
    > 1940s, Railworks, Sacramento Northern Railroad
    > 1950s, I literally lost count, there's a lot for the transition era.
    > 1960s, Railworks & MSTS, both Feather River routes, Monon railroad & probably a couple more I'm forgetting.
    > 1970s, MSTS, GM&O Simulations; Trainz, Milwuakee Road
    > 1980s, MSTS, West Colton, Green River; Railworks, Soldier Summit.
    > 1990s, MSTS, ATSF Seligman, Tehachapi; Railworks, Donner Pass & Raton Pass; Trainz, Mojave Sub(Yes, I'm aware they're all either ATSF or SP, or both... I think that's just a coincidence)
    > 2000s, Pretty much all of the routes made before 2010 without a specified date.
    > 2010s, Literally everything else.
    I know I missed a bunch... those are just the ones I have played or can think of.
    Personally, I think it's beautiful that you can run a train in (pretty much) any era, on at least one route... and that, as long as you don't mind a weird timeline and some route inconsistencies, it's technically possibly to take the same train from one side of the country to the other.. probably, I haven't mapped out all of the various train sim routes out there to make sure they 100% line up.. but if you take some creative liberties with the route, and maybe skip a few stops in the midwest, you could probably do it.
