How to remove bushings from both styles of Gen 2 Montero Upper Control Arms. Also applies to Gen 1 Montero Sport and Gen 4 Mitsubishi L200 Pickup. I know it's terrible.
Thanks for this video guys. How do you remove de front upper control arm, in the driver side? I have tried to do it, but after remove the 2 bolts the control arm hits the steerin colun, and i canot remove the upper control arm. In the passenger side, does not have problem, just remove 2 bolts. Do you have any ideia?
Thanks for this video. Struggled with my upper control arm bushings until I saw this video and it makes a lot of sense. I'm guessing you opted for the Siberian bushings with the metal sleeves rather than the ones that re-use the original metal sleeve?

@@olegkreydich456 lately I've had a lot of issues with poly bushings basically melting or falling apart. Not sure what's changed, I've tried different brands and same results. I'm not the only one either. 🤷🏼

Draw a line on the steering shaft to mark the spline orientation, then remove the steering shaft. It should pop out then.

Yes, the original sleeves are often damaged.
