- Meiosis (Meiotic cell division) vs Mitosis | The M Phase of thr cell cycle | MCAT Biology...The cell cycle is divided into an interphase (G0, G1 and G2 phases) and a Mitosis phase (M Phase).
Mitosis (M) phase is divided into prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. They end in cytokinesis (cell separation).
What's the difference between Mitosis and Meiosis?

Im from iraq and ive understood meiosis from u more than any other iraqi teacher whether in TH-cam or irl, thank you! Its so simple and fun i didnt even speed it up
I appreciate you so much!

Your humor is what convinced me to use your MCAT playlists for my prep!
I am so delighted to hear that! You're so kind!
hey! did you use the other subject videos?
Im not here for MCAT but I have a bio exam tomorrow and this explains everything so much better then the slides that my classmates and which my professor approved of 😭
I love your narration! It gave me life while studying.... which is hard to do.
I appreciate you so much!
Thank you, This was fascinating. Genetics is fascinating to me.About 25 years ago I was involved in a criminal case that was an old unsolved case, examining mitochondrial DNA of a thirty year old infant, in an effort to determine the identity of the mother.
Wow 😳
That’s astonishing!
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis It was the 1st. case in Canada to use mitochondrial DNA in its investigation. That made it significant.
Unbelievable!
I think you should make a video about that.
At 6:40 , should not every four cells have 1c, should they? But, you put 2c in all four cells!!! Would you please clarify it to me?
Thank you so much, this is very helpful! I am however, confused by the drawing in minute 4:00. Meiosis1 ends with 2 haploid daughter cell and the drawing shows that there is one chromosome (from the homologous pair) in each cell. But then meiosis2 begins with a haploid daughter cells that now contain 2 chromosomes.
Same doubt
just a little suggestion if noticed. As there are so many things going on prophase I . It shall be differentiated in further phases
leptotene
zygotene
pachytene
diplotene
diakinesis
"automobile diversity" freaking genius and hilarious. Your videos helped me and are still helping so much in med school man.
Thank you.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you!
Would you please help me by sharing?
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis I always do! Anytime my friends are struggling I'd send them a vid of yours that helped me. 💪
Enjoyed learning,😂 this was so fun and informational. Thanks for this❤
My pleasure!
I hope you enjoy the whole biology playlist!
Thanks for every word u say, u are making doctors from all over the world we appreciate it .
This is incredible I ended up learning things that werent in my book or syllabus haha
Happy to help!

Very funny 😂 and important video. We like it.
Something is not matching. You are saying that a gamete has 23 haploid chromatids (I) while actually drawing diploid chromatids (II).
Hello Medicosis, Hope you're doing well.
I've been watching a bunch of your videos lately and I've really been enjoying them a lot, thank you for such amazing quality content. I was wondering if you'd ever make more videos on the topic of electrolytes and acid-base, because that playlist was really helpful to me and I'd really love to learn more on that topic from you. thank you for everything you do.
Thank you so much, my friend!
I have a course about fluids and electrolytes on my website: www.medicosisperfectionalis.com/

Nice explanation, Love from Bangladesh 😊
Thank you!
Nice explanations :D
Thank you so much 😄

My mnemonic for the cell phases is corny but works for me.

In meiosis 2
The staring cell condition is haploid form.... I mean in haploid form nucles there should be only one chromosome i. E with 2 sister chromatids....
But suddenly why u showed daughter cell of reduction division as with 2 chromosomes with 4 sister chromatids
Hello sir plz clear this doubt

Just listening to this makes me feel like an enthusiastic ignoramus tbh
What is diploid '2n' ? What is haploid 'n'? Dose it mean 1 chromosome with a chromatid OR 1 chromisome with 2 chromatids ? What is the meaning of pairs of chromisome??? Thank you Dr Medicosis
11:49 45+xxy=48??
Or did you mean 44+xxy?
I don't know why, but your voice sounds like Tom Felton 😅

Thank you!
