Originally, I found the song to be in the mid tier of what the album offers. However, one day it hits me and I realize just how incredible and beautiful the song is. Now I’m confused how Melon has it as his least favorite.
That’s interesting because I think that “Wild Time” is the summit of this album. This track reminds me Jessica Harper/Phoenix (Phantom of the Paradise). The evolution/progression is really subtle, it never bounces you to the evidences or emphasises. It’s a masterclass in songwriting. Some would kill to catch that grace. This kind of few lucky tracks you hope in a lifetime of a songwriter. I discovered Weyes Blood and Thelma with your “Worst to Best tracks”review, so I’d like to say : thank you.

Titanic Rising I like, because it is a great bridge from Something to Believe to Movies, almost as if after Something To Believe you are taking the plunge into the dark, spacey sounds that play throughout Movies. Closer To Thee, for me doesn't really do much other than "oh here is an instrumental to finish the album". Didn't really move me in anyway like the rest of the tracks did. If you really want me to name another track, I would say Mirror Forever is still a weaker track than Wild Time.
Dont always trust fantanano. He pronounce Aminé’s name wrong for a loooong time. The correct pronunciation is Ameen-Ay but he kept going Ah-muh-nay for so long. There was even a skit on Amine’s album about the correct pronunciation of his name and melon missed that

it's funny, it seems like every time fantano gives a super positive review to an album that i also love there's always one track he thinks is kinda boring (in this case mirror forever) which invariably turns out to be my favourite from the record
One of the best albums I've ever heard. 10/10 for me but I am cool with a 9. I actually think her voice is pretty unique. I absolutely love the vibrato and the way she abruptly fluctuates between notes over the same word (not sure what that's called).
I think she uses love as a way to explore and bridge concepts of the individual, the eternal, the real, the virtual and the fear of trying to reconcile them. But I'm also glad your reviews are very concrete and generally don't include stupid stuff like what I just wrote

Ngl, Wild Time and Mirror Forever are two of the best tracks, the guitar line on Mirror Forever makes it sound like the Carpenters produced by art-rock era Eno. 9/10 for sure though.
