    I just picked up a 332 2 days ago. I did a complete service on it yesterday. I really like the tractor

    We inherited my wife's grandpas 332 when we moved into their old house. Its been mowing the same 1.5 acres for over 30 years . The only thing I've done outside of basic maintenance is change the fuel lift.

    Great video, I just picked up a 322 with the blade and a 47 blower. Actually looking forward to clearing snow this winter! 😂

    Nice looking machine. I always liked the 332. I like the hand controlled hydro and steering brakes. Always wanted to get one with a blade and a 40 loader and put it on tracks

    Nice 332! Sounds like a really nice runner. Eager to see how it will handle a heavy and wet snow.

    Greetings from Ohio. I watch most of your videos, and have learned much from them. It looks like you've found a nice, clean 332. I've never graduated from the 318s, but eventually wouldn't mind a 332, which I have decided will be my next likely choice. I wouldn't mind purchasing the 48" blade from you, as my 54 (which I recently got with my 92) appears to be a bit wide for my use. At any rate, not much more to add, except congrats on what looks like a petty well maintained 332. I like to see them in this condition!. Thnx for sharing. Stay safe and well, and enjoy!

      @Garth Land Greetings, and thank you for your reply .... YES, these Deeres ARE addicting! I've said many times that if not a pauper, I'd have a barn full of them!
      318s have always been my passion ... I have 3 of them, as well as a partial. I guess anyone who loves Deere machines can go crazy with them if they allow themselves! Lol (kinda like going into Harbor Freight) ... I hope to have a new garage this spring where I can spend some time redoing and doing the maint. I guess there's worse ways of spending our lives and money. Thnx again for your comments ... Stay safe and well, and keep on enjoying your JDs!

    You do want a 330!! They are just a little different, but really neat machines. I've had both, and I like the 330 to putz around with.

      Only difference between the 2 is 330 has manual steering and the 332 has power steering.

    Awesome! I would love to have a X748 with the manual 4x4 or a X595 but my current X575 does the job just fine and right now it almost has 800 hours on it😁!

    You have been my go to guy! I am picking up a 332 this week. Buford bucket, three point, and weight box. Selling my 318. I would like to keep the snow blade. Is it easy to swap the bucket and the blade? On a side note. The 332 has been sitting and when I started it up it kicked right over and just purrrred. With a bad back I am very excited to get the unit with a bucket. The 318 has been a champ and I hope for just a bit better with the 332.

    I am wondering what you think a fair price is for a 332 that’s been sitting outside not being used for 10 years. I have a local dealer that has a field of old tractors. And the tractor I described is one of many they have. Let me know what you think.

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not much, 10 years is a long time to sit. Dangers you could run into include water sitting in the fuel tank, seized deck bearings, mouse houses with the wiring harness, potentially water in the engine, busted coolant hoses etc. For something sitting that long, I can’t see more than $500. 5 years ago it was higher but in the current market that’s what I would guess without seeing the machine.

    A neighbor gave me JD 332 with plow & mower deck for free had to put it back together then paint it. I realized after $1900 in parts time to sell it for something else breaks. Sold for $2500. I would never do that again just because something old & expensive is free.

    How much would one of those blades go for? I'm in Texas and I have one I don't need.

    • @jdraupp
      @jdraupp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have one with the dual angle kit like this one I’ve seen them go for anywhere from 450-850 bucks around here. Of course, not much of a market in Texas, but if you link up with a fastenal shipping company and throw it on eBay I bet you’d sell it.

    Why would you engage the deck at full buzz smh

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is what the manual indicates. On a dry clutch system like this it really doesn’t matter and you can come up with a half dozen reasons why for various engagement speeds. Following the manual become more important in the wet clutch systems in the new machines (1992-present super GT’s).
