It would be a pleasure if Nikon brought us a good replacement for the great D-500. I look forward to that being the new z-90 and if it comes with a new sensor with at least 30mp that competes with the Canon R-7 I would be the first to gladly buy another Z camera.
I'm a bird shooter and have missed the D500 since I sold it two years ago. I have been disappointed by every Z camera I purchased (Z7, Z6II, and Z7II) until I bought the Z9. Having a small body-speed demon with good focus and better resolution than my Z9 on DX will be great for travel and casual stuff. The Z9 is 45 mp FF but only 19 mp in DX. I just hope they release it by the summer (or earlier).

Americans: Neekon Zee 90 - Everyone else: Nikon Zed 90
It needs to do more than 15fps canons does and Fujifilm's X-H2s does up to 40fps with a stacked sensor, So if Nikon are serious about giving D500 users and aps-c fans a decent prosumer APS-C wildlife camera they have a lot to live up to or it won`t sell like the D500 did. Personally If they could match the fuji with a stacked sensor at 26 0r 33mp and 15 mechanical, 20 & 30 fps electronic RAW I would definitely be willing to pay up to £2500.00 for one to replace my D500.
I wish the Nikon Z6III had a design similar to the Z8. To be around 640g would be wonderful. the Delete and preview buttons should be the same as for DSLRs

What is the size and weight of the camera?
As we said in the video, we expect a slightly more minimalist and lightweight design from the Z8. It is not possible to give an exact size at the moment.
The proof is in the pudding. Until now ASP-C from Nikon is abandoned. No new bodies and prime lenses. They need to protect their cheaper full frame Z5. ZFc and Z30 are the same frame of Z50. 😮
all nikon crop cameras have no AA filters and low resolution (20 mp) so its suffers from color moire.
May be 33 mp z90 will be better or even have AA filter.
I will gladly pay z6-2 price for nikon z90 if it will have stab and good VF and screen. and with fixed moire problem.
I don’t want to get a new camera like the old one like D810 , I am looking to buy a good quality camera with lite weight and small size like Sony cameras but I don’t want to switch from Nicon to any thing else
As we said in the video, the Nikon Z90 is expected to be minimalist and lightweight. If you haven't bought a camera yet, you might want to consider it.

That's because it is. The odds of Nikon releasing a Z90 are essentially Zero with a capital Zee.
15 fps didn't exactly sounds outstanding.
If this thing isn't good I'll switch from my z6 to an a6500 or whatever the newest Sony aps-c is.
Yes, we will see a slightly more minimal design, so it is not expected to be a flagship.
