There are three different classes of wormers, which kill the worms in different ways (with multiple drugs in each class). Your friend was advising two kinds in case your worms are resistant to one type. If you are waiting two weeks and worming again, you need to use a different class of wormer the second time. I would recommend some of the cheap working systems diy that are on youtube. Feeding corn, you will probably need to trim some hooves in the future so a flip table is probably in your future.
