Watched this video and subscribed. I like your RTT ... I've got an iKamper 2.0 mini on my Gladiator, but I'm thinking of changing to an aluminum shell at some point. Love my RTT, but the aluminum appeals to me. Great video ... thanks for sharing ... also, thanks for commenting on the video I watched for Flagpole ... had not thought about the trails being icy in winter due to the springs ... my wife told me we didn't buy this jeep to spend money ;) ... so I'm trying to keep it ding free :) ... thanks again.
I saw one of these on top of a truck, and was so curious what it was. Now I know! Thank you! Also, your organization and straight forward clarity is top notch! I’m not even an outdoor person and enjoyed this whole video
Good Video, I have the Alpha and been considering Aluminum down the road. One suggestion: Contact stuff tough for an additional switch. I did and they charged me $20 2yrs ago, but it allows you to run both lights independently. Part # TS-RMT-LED-CS-S. Thanks for the in depth review!
Awesome video! I have the same rtt and absolutely love it.. It's stout and durable and just a well designed and good looking tent. It's on the heavier size, but it's hardly noticable at least on my ranger tremor. Quick question for you, i noticed you've mounted something on to using the tents roof rack. What size nut is it for the t slots.. Cause they for sure are not a standard size at least what the rtt itself uses.
@@XYoverland Are you by chance thinking of getting the annex room? Id like a fair comparison between this and iKamper's but cant seem to find anyone that has done the full setup with Tuffstuff.
@@vengeanceoverland I did think about it, but ultimately I’m not going to get one. I have an awning room already for my side pull awning for longer trips where I want to set it up, and it’s bulky and a lot of work. My biggest reason for switching to this tent was the quick up and down. When I got this tent it came with a free awning, and I did try to get them to switch it for the annex, but they wouldn’t do it. If they had I would’ve at least tried it out.

I think they were supposed to be M8 before they were painted. I’ve been meaning to try a 5/16 bolt since that’s slightly smaller.
Great video, was actually considering this Tent. 🤙🏻🇺🇸
Thanks for checking it out! Let me know what you ultimately decide on.

@@XYoverland No worries, I may pull the trigger on it. Not 100% sure yet. Either way thank you for the review :)
What's holding the rain fly to the sides of the tent? Asking because I want to get an annex but I'd like for it to be 100 percent enclosed.
On the front side it’s Velcro and straps. I don’t think you’ll have any issues being enclosed.
What rear bumper/ tire carrier is that?
It’s by Maxgear Armor/Maxterra. He doesn’t have a store front but uses Instagram (@maxgear_armor) or just email
