I made this crown on Friday to wear in a parade today (Saturday). I did a couple of extra things, when it was dry from the starch, I coated it with white glue, let it dry. Painted it silver (just used the little .50 cent bottle of paint), let it dry. Dabbed it with gold, let it dry. Decorated with jewels, sequin trim, and a face jewel, let it dry. Sprayed the inside with waterproofing spray (you know...sweat), let it dry. Got TONS of compliments. Was glad I had everything on hand.
ZinaD that's awesome super cool.
Where did you find the lace?
Wish i could see pictures

The crown looks very good. I will do it following your instructions but to give it some stability I will add a wire head band for the base, and some jewelry stones.

Wonderful
nyc video but in which solution u put the crown
Wow how easy was this brilliant hack 3 minute video thankyou
Thanks for lifting my spirits 🙌🏼💖💫
Thank you!
Is that corn starch you used
If you can put up with how loud and kinda snappy her voice is for three minutes then i really recommend this tutorial. But only for a base. It still seems really flimsy and bendable, so it would be useful to get your hands on some gold wire to help stiffen up the base a little bit. I also recommend adding some crystals to give it more of that "real" feeling. But not too many to make it weak and kinda saggy. just some small crystals for some bling here and there so it looks less like lace.
so creative..
Great video, you make it seem so fun
Where did you get that lace ?
Heather M I got it at Walmart, there is a link to get it, in the discription
Omg you are freaking awesome...... LOVE IT.....
love it girl!
crowning glory! thanks! ditto techniques for pet costumes, and those decorative candles, and napkin rings, and garlands for parties, and anklets, and weddings, and vases, and making BEAUTIFUL FANS (keep the bones, remove the paper), and flower bouquet wraps, and communion crowns (spray white), and gather up n ruffle for detachable for flip flops and shoes, and....YOU'VE OPENED UP A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF FUN. THANKS. SUBSCRIBED!
Who doesn't need a crown!!!
I don’t even know how I got to this video but I’m subscribing
Thank you soooo much I was looking for something like this for a lot of time thank you sooooooooooooo much
thanks
This is such a fun diy to watch
Why don't you use Paverpol for starch? At least then it's really stiff instead of still floppy...
+SuperNovaSirius that would work just fine.
What is liquid starch?
Good idea
Awesome!! I Love it!😍😍
