Thanks for watching. What kind of set up do you have? Skid? Trailer? Truck bed?
Only have a 12v setup built on a small wooden skid right now. Currently in the process of building a 6.3 gpm washer with a Predator engine from Harbor Freight. Also have acquired (scrap from my employer) a metal skid to modify and build shelves on for a truck skid.
Currently running a truck bed setup. 4gpm belt driven pressure washer, 7gpm 12v soft wash setup, buffer tank, chem tank, 100' supply line, 200' pressure hose, 250' chem hose for 12v all on reels, bed rail tool box for battery and spare parts and harbor freight ladder rack with my ladders and surface cleaner.
Been enjoying this setup a little more than my trailer I used last year
I like it. Looks like you have all that you need.
It will get better with time, but I’m much happier than I was in the beginning! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I have a cleaning company that also offers pressure cleaning and I have to carry everything inside my minivan for now.
As long as you do a great job, that’s what matters. You will get better equipment and vehicles over time. You can have the nicest vehicles and equipment, but if you don’t do a great job, then it won’t matter.
To be fair, I don't know if I would say the build is "for beginners"...as it's still going to get 95 percent of any jobs done! Might take a little longer to do jobs, but not much.....good build. I am also in Florida, on the Treasure Coast. Subscribed
Thanks man! You’re right for sure! Appreciate the support 💪
Nice rig my man! Looking great. I am new to the industry as well. Just working on building out my now to get started. Best of luck to you this year!!
I hope you crush it brother! Keep me updated 👍👏
You keep growing a little at a time and that has to feel good.
I would make 1 suggestion and that is to mount your reel on the passenger side of the trailer. The reason is 1. Easier to just grab the hose and pull it straight out with no onstruction. 2. Some municipalities don’t allow parking facing oncoming traffic. 3. An oncoming car would be more likely (IMO) to hit you head on. Another thing is cones. Where I live you have to have 3 cones to the rear of the trailer.
Keep Washing and have a great day.
Appreciate the advice brother! 💪💪💪
@@joeallenpressurewashing anytime. Keep up the good work.
@@joeallenpressurewashing definitely mount your hoses on the passenger side otherwise looks good Bro!
Actually Jioe I’ve been with you about five minutes lol Huge upgrade looks smart!! Ain’t no stopping you now this time next year it’s gonna be huge!!!!
Thank you brother! 💪 gotta keep improving
Awesome. Gives me a great idea for my set up.
Let’s get it 💪💪💪
Great setup, I like seeing people and their business evolve and grow.
Appreciate that! It’s been nice slowly upgrading!
Nice “grunt” to start the day!
Right 😂😂 I thought I cut that out 😂
Dude..... your growing!!!!!
Your whip line to the reel has a lot of stress on it so put a high pressure 90 on the pump end to give it a little slack.
Also when you have time take the water tank and turn it side ways an push it back a little. The place your Chem tank in the center just in front of it.
That heavy chem.tank loads a lot of weight on the side, and it being forward like that leads up the lounge weight of the trailer..
Your looking good brother!
Appreciate that 💪💪💪 I did get a longer whip line but I never considered a high pressure 90. I thought that may restrict flow. That was just an assumption.
Appreciate the advice. I felt like I was just desperate to get the trailer set up, I didn’t really think too long about the layout. I will definitely be changing it. Thank you again! 💪
Another thing is to put the pw in the back. That way if you have a job where you don't have enough hose, you can roll it out the back andove it closer....
@FreeAmericanSpirit damn I don’t know why I didn’t think about that
Nice starter rig. It gets the job done.
Absolutely 💪💪💪
Nice setup. Im expecting a big year out of you bro!!
Yes sir 💪💪💪
I would recommend putting the filter in between the tank and the machine
Yeah I need to do that for sure
Nice set up. Only thing i would change is your supply line from the buffer tank to your pressure washer, use 1" non collapsible hose (braided)
Keep up the great work!
Yes I do need to do that! Appreciate the advice 💪❤️
Awesome rig Joe thanks for sharing the information you have learned.
Thank you brother! I always want to help people in anyway I can.
I park in front of the house so my reels are on the other side that way you go right to house I can’t wrap my head around your reels being on that side but if it works it works
It works both ways right? I haven’t had an issue, the reels are always facing the house.
Glad to see your new setup 👍. Wouldn’t you want your hose reels on the curb side vs the street side though?
I don’t know what you mean? I pull up to the house with the reels facing the house. I didn’t know it made a difference?
@@joeallenpressurewashing well when I roll up to a house and I’m parked on the street the house is always on my right so I have my reels on the right side of my truck bed.
Makes sense. I can also park in a way that the reels face the house. If I have to turn around I will.
i love this build because you have all the things you need and I want to replicate the exact same build but im confused on 1 thing. On all the other soft wash systems I see, they use a remco pump or some type of 5.5-7gpm but I didn't see a pump on your trailer it appears to be going through the pressure washer with the downstream. but if that was the case what are the batteries for? I obviously am new to this lol i have just been using my machine and xjet and looking to upgrade. Thanks for the video
I have a pump. It’s mounted underneath my hose reels. Thanks for watching buddy! The soft wash pump is worth it. I use the 5.5gpm Everflo bleach pump
Can you please make a video of that set up but with the 12v water pump for sift wash 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 please
Yes, I will do that.
@@joeallenpressurewashing thanks 👍
What do you do if you don’t have enough hose to reach the back of someone’s house
Haven’t experienced that yet honestly, but I would take the machine off the trailer if I had to. When I go bid the job, I figure that out. Good question though. I carry 200ft of pressure hose. I would add another 100ft if I had to as well.
Was wondering how much do you think you put into that hole set up Plus trailer Great video
I will make a video about the cost. Thanks for the idea.
I have a small SUV right now I’ve been looking at trailers to get a very similar set up. what size engine is your vehicle?
4 cylinder. Just have to be conscious about the weight.
Where did u get tha blue hose reel and how many feet does it hold how much great vid like always
It’s a cox reel I got off Facebook marketplace. I got two for $120
I have 200 ft of 3/8 pressure hose. That’s about the max.
Pretty simple - what length do you use pressure washer ? Line ? 150’
200’
What size and weight does that trailer hold? Looking to buy one exact the same and wondering if it hold everything good? Budget is $500 I’m sure I’ll find one
1,700lb capacity. I’m well under that for sure! I never carry a full buffer tank which is why I installed a dump valve. Thanks for watching 💪
I’m looking to startup my own trying to get into commercial pressure washing I just took a V6 Chevrolet Colorado 37k miles you think I can pull a small trailer similar to the one you got without any problems??
Located in Miami fl
Yes, no problem! Just don’t carry around a full buffer tank. Dump it before you drive.
@@joeallenpressurewashingokay thank you I subscribed to your channel keep it up
What is the towing capacity and does it do good towing?
I think around 1,500. I always drain the buffer tank so it has no problem towing my trailer
I use a push around, no trilers, hook up to homeowners house , and wash, put it in back of my truck and go. You dont need all that.
Yeah I did that too for a while!
As we all probably respect your hustle you should in fact invest in a trailer. it will cut your time in half if not 1/3
I did that for awhile but upgrading is the way to go, you look more professional with a true set up in my opinion either way keep going bro!
You need it if you don’t want to be the “ I’ll do it for $100 guy”. Plus the tanks on his trailer are for a soft wash system. He still needs to hook up to the clients house. Stop talking about things you know nothing about
@@thatfishindude5459 first off dipshit the ill do it for 100 bucks guy is wrong. I do these houses from 900 sq ft to 8000 10,000 sq ft with a push around. Its you who diesnt know what uou are talkingvabout and no you dont need a trailer to do any of it. I know what im talking about and have been doing it for well over 15 years that way. I dont have to pay taxes on a trailer nor do i have to try and find parking in the big city . So how about you shut your shit hole bud
That's perfect if you drive on the wrong side of the road. 😳
I don’t get it, I haven’t had a single issue with that. I always park in a way that the hose reels face the house.
I think he is saying put the hose reels on the other side of the trailer. Curbside
Yeah I get that. But I don’t know why they have to be on one side or the other? Can you just park in a way that the reels face the house no matter what side they are on the trailer? I haven’t had a single issue with that.
@@joeallenpressurewashing you can but if you’re cleaning on a busy street, you will have cars keep driving over your hose because its set up on that side. If you have it on the curbside you wont have that problem if you’re pulling up to the customer house & their house is on your right side when you’re looking out your passenger window. It’s not right or wrong way but it’s an efficient way.
@SneadPressureWashing I’m lost lol, I would just turn around and park in the right way if I have to. Usually I look on the maps before I arrive to see what side of the street the house is. Very interesting conversation. I’m open to other POV’s
You don’t use any surfactant when you downstream?
I went back to using it, but you don’t absolutely have to,
Do you mix SH with surfactant on a 5 gallon bucket? how long can SH and surfactant be mix for?
@@javiernunez5299 I use 15 or 30 gallon drum with SH in it, I put surfactant in and it doesn’t matter how long
Thank you for your help much success for you. I’m gonna keep watching your video so I can learn something.
@@javiernunez5299 you’re welcome, please ask any questions.
3500lb axle?
Not sure honestly. I will have to check
