It's not that crazy if your practicing correctly, obviously at his speed it crazy but that's him at 80% so he can repeat it and do it over and over again no problem with no crashes. If you watch closely you can also see him slow down in certain areas in runs and adjust lines to compensate. The less you crash the more adjusted you can get to lines so overall you become more consistent and faster. If you just train pinning throttle your learning bad habits and not learning how to actually be consistent

You know in all seriousness, the video here looks like it is 2x speed or even more than that and I know that it isn't - but I have to ask myself - how the heck can anyone have judgement and reflexes that keep up with this kind of flying? So impressive.
As far as the motors, I do wish you got a little into the tech of how they were built only from the standpoint of being sincerely interested in the engineering, the materials choices, etc... Also I have to give you lots of credit for being honest and saying that many of the competitors motors are also very good - that is the way to be. Cheers!

Can you maybe tell me why 1515, 1613, 1712, 1810 motors are not better for racing then 2207 ? Because theoreticly they should spin up faster then a 2207. Maybe the heat ?

What about bells? RCInPower are known for having not the strongest bells on the market and u also can't buy a new one, u need to buy a whole new motor instead. That is what really makes me switch to X-Nova :/
I've found that with the GTS V4, bells aren't even visibly dented but magnets are cracking in impacts with metal gates. RCinpower Wasp Major, been through more abuse and impacts and haven't busted a bell yet. They nailed it with the Wasp bell, highly recommended if you're like me and just want the best durability.

What is the pink thing around the stack? Is it like a hair band to protect from grass? My freestyle quads get so caked in grass and I don't like the smell after a while, I wonder if it would work for the larger bodies of freestyle frames too.
It's called a stack saver. I highly recommend them.

150 packs nice! Been rocking a set of 2020kv wasps on my latest build and really pleased with them.
I'm rocking them on two race quads and soon to be three, beaten the hell out of them and they're insanely strong. I'm cracking magnets on the GTS V4s (not MCK ones, granted) in crashes the Wasps just bounce out of. Recommending them to everyone! Only broken one got sent flying off with an arm and tore its wires out!!

I just built my 5th drone. Been on the velocidrone simulator getting what I thought was pretty good. After seeing this I actually quit. Honestly there isn't any point to continuing to try to advance when there are people like you around the fields. I could practice for years on the same course and probably not even be done with the first few gates by the time your changing batteries. I am actually glad I saw this you probably just saved me a lot of money and time. Very impressive. I'm gonna sell 4 of them and start freestyle flying. This doesn't even look fun to be honest. Too stressful...
freestyle flying is where its at. No pressure, and just relaxing fun.
Damn bro just fly to have fun, or else why are you even doing this? There are going to be people who are better at freestyle, there are going to be people better at everything. It's like watching the Olympics and saying you're never going to play a sport because you can't be the best.
@@UnumDeum yea I agree I'll keep flying for fun but honestly I had no idea people were out there flying this fast. I've been to a couple local races and it's nothing like this. I just can't imagine ever being good enough to take it seriously at all knowing people are doing this type of racing. I have been into several types of racing over the years and I've always been able to stay near the top so that's what's makes it interesting. As far as racing goes there just isn't even really any point in practicing gates and stuff when people are this good. I'll stick to my woopdie dos. Lol...

I can fly a course and get somewhat decent times but I honestly can't even see what he's doing in some of this. It's insane...I would imagine when he races it's nothing but like 20 of these guys...not exactly drl. Lmao...I would be in dead last place in every single race I ever entered...but I do really enjoy the hobby and building them is really fun...shrugs. just kinda shocked to see this speed...it's really on another level of human. Lol.
You have to understand MCK is arguably the fastest pilot in the world in this class. I never race myself but I enjoy watching racers. Freestyle is where it's at for me as well. No reason to at all to quit!
