First of all I love your site and your reactions. We have very similar tastes in performers. Unfortunately I don't sing lol but you provide incite that's very valuable and I could kind of share with my young performers. I asked my vocal coaches to check out your site. AND btw your mom is amazing. You should have her on more lol. I'm a little older than her and I'm glad she liked Angelina. She's a once in a lifetime talent and I, too, hope she stays on track. TBH - her voice and technique and style is really helping us get through this tough time. When you listen to her, you forget about everything else that's happening. Stay safe and healthy to you, your mom and family.

@@musicwithmaunalee I work with many young theater kids and there are some nice talent in my group but omg Angelina is amazing. My first impression was definitely Billie Holiday type. Ugh I could keep going about it. I've been spending the majority of my isolation listening to her music over and over. It's crazy. If you're not busy check out one of my performers in my company's Frozen vid - Diana from the senior cast singing Let It Go. She's 14. I'm not trying to promote her or anything haha. There are rehearsal video's of her that will leave you speechless, she is so beautiful in them. There are interviews with her, very young, that will show you the most humble , sweetest, sincere and loving human being you could ever wish to meet. 1.) 🔥🔥 First of all, Your mom looks much younger than her age. I assume you are blessed with her fountain-of-youth genes.
2.) 🔥🔥 Secondly, the more times I listen to Angelina, the more impressed I am and the more I realize that she will be one of, or "the", most impactful singer of the next few of decades.
3.) 🔥🔥 Lastly, you said you were waiting to do a Angelina AND Courtney song reaction with your mom. Several of Courtney's that you already did, "Old Town Road", "Sign of the Times" and "Someone You Loved". So, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd suggest you travel all the way back to her audition on America's Got Talent 2 years ago when she was ONLY 13!!!!! She was very shy when speaking, but would turn into a lioness as soon as she started singing. I just love Angelina she such a talented and admirable girl, and these few originals that she has written are so deeply personal letting us see just what a wonderful soul she has. She is also such a role model for other young girls and boys with the way she comports herself, her charity, and her humility. Also, her advocacy for the poor that she brings awareness to every time she steps on stage barefoot. It's time we had a young superstar who isn't selfish and self-centered.

I just found your reviews, I think you are adorable, I love the fact your kids are around. I am a retired pediatrician, my wife and I back in our twenties loved listening to the big bands of the 40s and 50s and the smokey sounding torch singers of the day. Hearing Angelina Jordan was like having a flash back. I have probably listened to everything she has on you tube at least 10-15 times. Like Mozart, I feel she is a musical prodigy that comes along every couple of centuries. From what I have read she is in good hands and will not be exploited by the music industry. What impresses me as much as her vocals, is her altruism and compassion for the less fortunate. She truly is a gift to the world.

Thanks a lot, you guys. I will fight through this. I have to give credit to the medical staff here in Indonesia, they are doing what they can for me. My medical history makes this a little complicated for them (just been through a long cancer treatment), but I am optimistic. That is my nature.
The world has become a pretty small place, I can sit here in Jakarta chatting with you guys, even under intensive care. In these times we are all one, rooting for each other. I am so glad I have good friends around me, and always Angelina's magical voice to listen too.

I have been waiting for you to do this one since your first Angelina reaction! Just 12 years old here (11 when she first recorded it). Some 12 year old girls are doing silly dances on tiktok, this one is contemplating one the deepest questions there is, and setting it in a voice that takes you back to a smoke filled jazz club in the 40's... and doing it in her usual humble way. It's just one more example of what a wise and mature young lady she is. Such a beautifully simple look at what life is for her, and the things she values... school, music, family.
It was great having your mom in the video too (she could pass for your sister). This was a great choice to introduce her to Angelina. Hope to see more of her in future videos :)
