@@dpnssjavi2783 Ok so the CoD engine history is a weird one. All games have roots in the iD Tech 3 engine but each game has an engine that’s modified from the previous engine. There are also technically 2 different engines. The IW engine and the BO engine. The IW engine is the “main” engine as its the one that the BO engine branched off from. MW 2019 completely overhauled and essentially rebuilt the entire engine for that game calling it IW 8.0. Basically with the goal to change the way CoD plays and feels and bringing it up to snuff with other modern shooters. The BO engine was primarily only used by treyarc for the black ops franchise. Cold War is using a modified version of the BO4 engine, which was just a heavily modified BO3 engine, with assets from the IW8.0 engine. So technically speaking. MW is running a brand new engine while CW is using an engine from 2015.
@@dpnssjavi2783 As for developers, there are currently 3 studios working on games, rotating in a release order so essentially each studio has 3 years to work on the next game. There are also a bunch of other smaller studios that help build each game that are kinda shared across all groups. As for how they get along, each studio usually keeps to themselves but they definitely share ideas, advancement and probably even employees when they need too. I’ve personally never heard any bad things about the studios infighting between one another. They usually get along just fine
Unless it isn't a scope or sight that is anti parallax. At that point you need to have one eye closed if you want to see the reticle. But if it's a holographic sight, both eyes open is fine.

I'm so excited to have mw mechanics in the new Cod zombies in vanguard!
When Activision decides that it's in their best interest to hold off a year on yearly releases, we might see something like that
with Infinity Ward and Treyarch having such amazing capabilities in their own fields i don't see why they can't just make a game with both studios doing what they do best. Infinity Ward making incredible details in customization, cosmetics, and firearms with Treyarch's zombies and story telling abilities. we know that Treyarch can make great stories and zombies modes like with Black Ops 1 and 2. and Infinity Ward is great at optimizing new stuff for the series so they can help make the character models, guns, graphics and customization options.
Dear god no dont let Treyarch mess with IW. We all know Treyarch ruins whatever they touch, just look at Warzone now
@@BobotPlayzBobotRebel yeah we saw that with cold war
@@BobotPlayzBobotRebel Hey man, don’t hate on treyarch for being the literal scapegoat for Activision’s shitty managing team. Modern Warfare is a 7/10 at best IMO. MW and CW are like dumb and dumber. What one does right, the other one fucks up and this goes both ways. If you combined the best qualities of these 2 games and removed SBMM, you would have a truly great COD game.

About CW not having doors that you can't open:
It's not considered to be negative, as Treyarch obviously didn't want to include doors in their game, as it would make it easier for people to camp, as an example.
It does not make it easier to camp you can stop sprinting for 1 second and open the doors quietly

I think mostly the reason why BOCW has low level of detail compared to MW2019 is that BOCW uses the BO3 engine still but with a few things from the MW engine, not the entire improved IW engine
I know this comment is old, but it's also because the game was simply rushed. It was developed by people working from home during COVID and it had less time in developement. I like some things about it, but it's just inferior to modern warfare in almost every way.

What exactly is the deal with CW and MW, they look very similar but they both have differences? Why is that so? Is there 2 different teams working on a similar game and if so why is that necessary? Does each team dislike each other?
Excited for vanguard, hopefully it’s has more for the original cod gameplay feel that CW had while having the attention to detail and sounds of MW

Regarding the aiming animation, realistically, it's more effective to have both eyes open while aiming and looking through the sights
Both eyes open allows for increased field of view realistically
Unless it isn't a scope or sight that is anti parallax. At that point you need to have one eye closed if you want to see the reticle. But if it's a holographic sight, both eyes open is fine.
9:12 mw here looks like real life
3:27 if you have a minigun it sounds way more

I like the one eye closed argument, mostly because most militarys train to shoot with both eyes open, and with either eye in case of damage to your dominant eye.
