I enjoyed a lunch at the Teppanyaki restaurant "Himorogi" located in the Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay. This $60 (8,900 yen) course allowed me to savor a variety of delicate and sophisticated ingredients. It began with an appetizer plate, followed by a seasonal starter, and then featured main dishes like poached Ise shrimp and Wagyu tenderloin steak. The Wagyu tenderloin, in particular, was notable for its tenderness and melt-in-the-mouth quality, exemplifying the excellence of Japanese high-quality beef. The poached Ise shrimp was a masterpiece that brought the flavor of the sea, offering a crisp texture and a deep taste.
The meal was served with a splendid view of Tokyo Bay from the 22nd floor, and the chef's cooking performance right before our eyes added an artistic flair to the dining experience. The garlic rice was a perfect side dish complementing the luxurious main courses, and the meal concluded with a dessert and a choice of coffee or tea, providing an elegant finish.
