I first laid eyes on her in a photography magazine in 75 or 76. In the article that was about photographer and the show it stated that she stole the portrait from the exhibit. It didn't mention that she was fronting any band. So that image, coupled with a criminal act made me take notice of her. She had stained my memory. First one in the series i had to stop after about 15 min. The non stop talking and patting herself on her own backside was starting to get to me. This, to me, did not sound like an interview but some chick rambling on about what she has done and what she thinks of other people. This to me sounded like a well prepared speech that starts out well but then loses focus as she goes off on tangents and never returns to finish the idea or sentence. 15 min...done. Next
She's very condescending. It's like oh I'm such a badass I'm smarter than anyone around me. I wouldn't be able to be around her long. She probably supports trump.
It is hard for postmodernists to talk because words have only subjective meaning to them and are not connected to reality. You get sentecnes like: "i am this and that altough i dont like the term this and that.." Most punkers or selfdefined misfits come to their senses or die. But there will be consequences in some shape or form.
Can you elaborate?
Screwed her way into the " business ". Literally. But I have to say, I like the Jerks. Just not a big fan or admirer of her.
She’s so important! She’s so fucking important!
We live in a society...that makes you crazy. That's the point....
Lydia, rude?! Are you fucking kidding me; she's edgy beautiful brilliant & a sweetheart often dark but never rude! If she is asked an idiotic question she might appear harsh in her response but that's just because she isn't going to be bullshitted! I fucking love that she never learned Spanish when she lived in Barcelona because I am obsessed with Paris & if I ever move there I would be thrilled not to understand a freaking word they are saying! What a break that would be from listening to everyone's "opinions"! That sealed the deal with me; LYDIA LUNCH IS WORTH THE PRICE OF THAT MEAL DEFINITELY!
She's rude as shit. She's pretentious as fuck too which is like the polar opposite of punk rebelion. She tried to shit on Nardwaur, the single most beloved, well researched and respected music interviwer to live...
You must be joking
I enjoy some of her stuff, but I feel bad about it. Her work comes from a lot of abuse from others. I just wish she could have a happier life.
Of course, I could be wrong, and would gladly be so in this case.
She plays in another league.
We consider you that lady from the Narduwar interview
Killer interview. Killer guest.
She’s Goth AF
awesome
Every time the interviewer starts she says UM… she’s sooooooooo passive!!!
If that was a bottle I drank, I'd say "same."
oh goodness what an embarrassment this is. She really thinks she is smart, poor thing. I really feel kind of sorry for her...and she just can't shut up either.
She doesn't sound stupid or anything so not sure what kind of retarded comment this is
Yeah. Name dropper and a a talentless hack with no manners
you seem triggered. she’s a self-important smart woman. work on how that makes you feel first.
@@halseesall If you truly think she's smart, you must be an oaf.
Wonderful, brilliant and so pure human being.

This would be so much more interesting to watch if Nardwuar was conducting the interview!
Lydia Lunch & Patty Smith greatest NY performance artists...imo!
cool, articulate, passionate, real
Bowie wasn’t the first changeling Dylan was
Maybe, but Bowie did it better, imo
Classic Gemini. ♊
Classic woman’s comment.
We like to ramble lol
irrelevant
My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult Dirty Little Secrets
Jesus, doesn't she ever take a breath?
She breathed through her nose when she was historically performing oral to get into to ‘music/pretentious art’ business.
Next
A repulsive woman with considerable ‘oral history’, the same can be said sadly for many other over rated …women of rock ..
That confrontation with Joe Rogan didn't go so well. :/
Is she pumped up or what?
Nardwuar needs to interview this cow again
Just watched her interview with Nardwuar. She was SO RUDE to him! Meanwhile Nardwuar was so kind and sweet!
Look where Lydia ended up and look where Nardwuar is.
brother shut up 😭
L
I think the wrong twin died.
I only know this woman from the brutal deserved roast from Joe Roegan
Deserved? Why? Her energy and drive are quite admirable, even if you don't care for her art.
She's done a lot more for people than Bro Jogan ever has or ever will.
Ahh jeez it's only weak men who probably like to get pegged are replying to my post.
@@Gaia.S nice projection. Why do you guys always use the pegging line? Hhhhmmmm?
She's very condescending. It's like oh I'm such a badass I'm smarter than anyone around me. I wouldn't be able to be around her long. She probably supports trump.
she definitely hates trump.
Not sure you watched the whole thing - check it out from here th-cam.com/video/AMyqh0gDb-c/w-d-xo.html
She comes across that way....but she isn't really like that.
Yeah, she absolutely did not support Trump
@@llywelyngruffydd8474 No she is to arcane to support trump. Trump tards are incredibly simple
Just plain rude. Hope she apologised to nardwuar
It is hard for postmodernists to talk because words have only subjective meaning to them and are not connected to reality. You get sentecnes like: "i am this and that altough i dont like the term this and that.." Most punkers or selfdefined misfits come to their senses or die. Being a teenager all your life sounds exhausting and sad. She should have met Joe Rogan in her childhood years.
L + irrelevant + Nardwuar is a legend + cope and seethe
Blah blah blah she speaks alot but says nothing
confrontationalist is definitely a c-word
I wonder how she feels about the way she treated Nardwuar after all these years.

He probably isn’t bothered by it. He was extremely provocative with her and irritated the shit out of her with a barrage of questions about her sex life.
@@Kazilikaya this is all stupid shit Lydia Lunch brags about...he didn't just randomly bring it up lol. The truth is, she is just a square who didn't get who to point the gun of idk anti-establishment at. Narduwar is a DUI fan journalist who made it. She attacked the fans. And- you just don't do that. Not in that 'you journalist dogs just want headlines' kinda Johnny Rotten thing.
@@Kazilikaya WHO. THE. FUCK. IS. NARDWUAR?
