She keeps killing me, 300 flamethrower, 8 shotgun shots, 22 bullets and countless slashes and she still walked away.
I'm on madhouse and can't beat her. The thing that gets me killed is not being able to find her as she is laying hives. Super annoying
This was the most difficult fight for me in the game. I didn't died with Second Jack and only 1 time with the final boss. But I died at least 20 times with this fucking marguerite!!!! Then 2000 year later I realised that the really weak point is was the head.
But her weakpoint isnt just the head, you need to use fire on her spider pussy and shotgun ammo on her head. Thats important to know when playing on Madhouse

Bro if you have 28 shotgun ammo, it's more than enough to beat her! Just stay on the ground floor in a single place. Don't move around. She will come back to you walking while showing her weak point (her lower area). Now shoot that place with the shotgun 3 or 4 times. Now she'll be gone. Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute. She'll come back. You can know that she's coming back by the sound of bees and it's also worth to note that a single bee will come to attack you when she's near. Now when she comes back, do the same thing. 4 shotgun shots to her weak point. Do this for 3 or 4 times. Then she'll come back with a lot of bees. Now use the flamethrower on the bees and her. Then finally, 4 more shotgun shots on her weak point will finish her for good

It actually is, the trick is reaction speed
That was definitely on easy mode. It’s impossible to complete a boss fight in a minute or under on normal mode. Normal mode is much harder than easy because the enemies move twice as fast as they do on easy mode. Normal mode also doubles the health of the monsters and boss fights and there is much more of them in normal mode. Madhouse is over twice as hard as normal.
Moral of the story: dont use fire. Use bullets.

Wow, makes me feel better about getting through this fight. However, she swipes me with her arm instantly and I only get 1 shot in before she goes out the window - I don't get the chance to quick turn like that. What difficulty were you doing this on?

Man that's easy mode, and she can spawn everywhere so that's just luck
Speed runners definitely have a strategy to finish this boss fight as soon as possible on madhouse difficulty. He defeated her in a minute & change & knew all her spawn points. This requires no luck. These runners study the game from start to finish.

You're able to turn around right away for no damage. There's a way through this entire game without getting hurt.

Pedro f Though now he's finding it difficult to replicate consistently. Shot count to the head isn't showing damage outputs that are on a readable scale. Ten, Twelve, Sixteen, and flamethrower usage. So despite this being easy mode, apparently there's no easy way of getting a "predictable" kill.
Then the man goes and finds a more consistent strat on stream. lmfao.

Not working for me at all. She took all my shotgun shells and then a ton of my pistol and I still didn't kill her. She must regenerate health somewhere. This doesn't work well

This does not work at all anymore, they fixed this via patches to where you are locked in an animation and cannot shoot her head repeatedly through the window like you did. Also she does not come through the second floor either as you showed.
yeah i was wondering about that. i was trying to shoot her as she comes through the window and you literally can't, the game forces you into that animation. she also didn't come up through that hole into the second floor, i just beat her like 30 seconds ago on normal.
If you back up in time you can dodge the grab.
You need to block to skip the animation lololololol
She still comes through the second floor for me & I'm able to avoid her grab followed by shooting her in the head repeatedly..so not sure what y'all talking about lol.

You need to switch between weapons to be effective.Her weak spot is her head (+10% dmg) not her belly(-20% dmg).Try to headshot her (preferably use the m21 shotgun but even the shotgun u get at the beginning will be fine as well though you might need more rounds), or if you are out of shotgun ammo use your handgun ( its less likely not to have ammo at this point because the greenhouse is full of supplies) then when you have the chance when she stands,flamethrower her belly as it cathces fire easily and u apply DoT which is pretty useful at this point.Try to block her attacks,its very important.Keep distance from her and dont let her lay nests of bugs.Remember,headshots are what are you going for.If you aim in ANY other part of her body it wont do any dmg at all.So be sure you nail these headshots.
Always go for the head shot and flame those flying bugs and wasps.
Also, use the grenade launcher
