Great videos. I also grew up on a 70-cow family dairy farm in NY. Can you explain to the people how the milk hauler measures the milk in the tank, to know how much is in the tank. Thanks, keep up the great work and videos.
Congrats on the inspection score and the new additions!! With duct tape, baling twine, coat hangers, a hammer, channel locks and some flat black spray paint you can just about repair/rebuild anything!! Stay safe & warm!!
Cute calves! Not yours, the cattle! 😂 I like the award Brent received. Nothing wrong with displaying some of ones successes! Good idea not to spray the hose on the electrical components!! You think being short is bad, wait until your tank gets "shorted"! Yowsa!! Cool video Tay! As always, enjoyable!
Hey Tay, I hope boss man takes good care of you and pays you well it's very hard to find people that will work the way you do and care to do the job right and enjoy what you do
Good morning Taylor, another awesome video. When I had a dairy on my farm the new baby's was one of my favorite parts of the farm. So keep up the good work. 😊
Hey Taylor, rather than putting new lags to hold up the pipeline, drill right through and use bolts. I find lags always seem to work loose over time. Those hereford crosses make nice looking calves!
Just wondering if a new broom or a long-handled car-washing brush would make washing the outside of the tank go easier and faster? Found your vid’s about 3 weeks ago and love them! I grew up in “central Maine” and actually went to school with Brent’s sister. Love this “taste of home”!
Awesome video again Taylor thanks, those little calves are so cute. Busy times ahead with the calving but that's what keeps the milk flowing. Where would we be without bailer twine ?,farmers friend thanks again for sharing another video with us take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Hey I’m a fellow Maine farmer and TH-cam channel. My husband and I recently started watching your channel. I really enjoy your content and hard work, we wish you worked on our farm! Thanks for making these video.
That plastic pipe is used for multiple purposes. We use it in the IT world to protect Fiber Optic cable. One of it's names is Interduct. It's intension is to protect cable that run through it. I love your videos and the care you provide to the cows. See you next time!
Great video Tay, cute little calves.😊 Glad the milk inspection went well been through many of them back when we were milking cows. Seems like they will always find something lol 🤗
cleaning the pipe line in barn. It’s a boring job so I would take a mop end then attach it to a grinder or use a buffer wheel, wet it down then the cleaning goes so much faster. Happy about the results from the inspection. A premium on the milk price never hurts 😊. Keep up the great work !!
Love your show Tay. It is an awesome award winning farm. Happy cows and excellent inspection. When you are cleaning the milk tank could you use a car washing brush with a long handle? 👍👏🐄
Taylor was wondering what your EDC (everyday carry) knife is? I have trouble keeping a sharp edge on mine. Figured if your EDC cuts baling twine everyday you probably have a good knife. Thanks for showing the new babies. Always fun to see them. Best wishes, Deb
Thanks again for another great video and congratulations on the high score you received on your inspection. A tribute to your hard work. With tomorrow being ground hog’s day, I think the groundhog is going to see his shadow and predict another year of Taylor’s great videos. Keep smiling, keep farming, and keep your great personality. 🐄🚜😉
That’s pretty impressive, that calf’s got to weigh nearly as much as you. Do you keep a running tally of the calves with weights , genders & bull it came from, especially now that you have Neil to go along with the Hereford for next year?
Barn pipe line all look great.hard work pays off.always hated wipen pipe line down.squeezing mouth bottle feeding brings back memories.sure can relate.yea pipe line lag hurt score.looks like maybe a bolt and nut thru pipe line bracket could be done?
hello to tat farmer and you both husband and wife team have beautiful baby calves and beautiful milk cows 🐄 from you subscribers Steve foster live in Australia 🇦🇺
Little hint for you there, Taylor. With our beef heard we use a product called multi min. It is an injectable that we give at birth. It is heavy in selenium, which is a mineral that helps strengthen the sucking reflex in calves.
Love the babies! Congrats on award. Don't really like inspectors. Bunch of office boys that are scared to do the real work. But you guys are doing great! I miss having baby calves on the place

Good tip! Yes they are wonderful little cows, only problem is I usually want to keep them all😂
I just noticed the utility knife in your front pocket, I have the same kind of knife, guess that's how I noticed it.
You were definitely born to be with animals, love your videos. ❤
Wow, thank you!
Get ready, Spring is coming early!! Keep up the great work.

@@tayfarmsyou’re welcome 🤗 yes they do lol
Love Brent's engineering effort with the bailing twine. He's my kind of guy.

Good job on the inspection results!!! What would farmers do without duct tape and baler twine. Been there/done that LOL Nice looking group of calves.
Merci!
Thank you!!!

Hi Taylor Congratulations with the new calf
Hello! Thanks😃
Great video Tay did you get the beast started ?👍👍
Thank you! Im working on it, hopefully in the next few days we’ll get her going 👍🏻😀
hello to tat farmer and you both husband and wife team have beautiful baby calves and beautiful milk cows 🐄 from you subscribers Steve foster live in Australia 🇦🇺
Love that old truck you got I wish it was a straight 6
Hi Tay! Do you have to keep the milk warm in the tank before it's picked up? Thank you.
The Milk is cooled in the bulk tank to around 4C or 40F
Yup, exactly our is kept around 38F👍🏻😀
Good job taking care of your animals love you guys ❤
Thank you 🩷
Some nice looking calves And good video to Taylor
can you imagine getting that tank in the building without tearing out a wall ? there is a history there.
FIRST !!! 🆒 Video Taylor !!!!!
You win!

Absolutely, thanks for joining us!
@@tayfarms you bet!
Good afternoon hello 👋🏾 how you doing your still working on coworkers for calfs
Hi!! I’m doing great, I hope you are as well!
Love the babies! Congrats on award. Don't really like inspectors. Bunch of office boys that are scared to do the real work. But you guys are doing great! I miss having baby calves on the place
I like all your videos
Can Brent demonstrate his Foraging skills when the weather gets better?
You need a sled to move the calf's around
That’s a brilliant idea!
When you have the camera turned on yourself the audio is good, when you face the camera away from you it gets very muffled and hard to understand what you are saying. I never noticed this before.
Turn your volume up then and you will hear it fine 💁♂️
Charollais/Guernsey calf is a nice big calf. Are there any calving difficulties.
Yes he was a big boy! No, difficulties though. She calves without assistance, cleaned, and no milk fever.
Good Job!
Thanks!
Some of your sound quality is poor, but you are still pretty.
Great video Taylor Neat & Tidy lady
Year 2000 Brent won an award
Was that the year Taylor was born 😂😂😂😂
Thanks! I was one🙃😂
Getting some wierd sound from your channel. not getting it from other channels. two different devices.
Curious, why growing corn? Thought you were just a hay farm for ur cattle. Again, just curious. Love your videos, keep it up. 😊
Enjoyed your video
So glad!👍🏻😀
If you can’t fix it with baler twine and gray tape you can’t fix it.
👍🏻 i agree 😅
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
White face are exceptional
Hello.
Hi!!
Last 3 videos the sound quality wasn't the best think it's your mic
Mic trouble?
