That's actually a little misleading on Vice's part. The act of licking can trigger a dogs instinct to nibble which eventually leads to full on eating. In the event you die around your dog, presumably out of love they will attempt to wake you up and get your attention by licking you. Which morphes into nibbling, and then biting, and, well, you know the rest.

I mean, at least here in Argentina there are close to no fake news on TV, but they are nevertheless mostly irrelevant, violent stories about robberies and murder, followed by scaremongering by the hosts, while they sweep the truly relevant, socially concerning stuff under the rug.

I remember as a kid the news would almost always cut to commercial with cliffhanger questions like "Is something in your house trying to kill you? Find out what it is when we return!"

to the climate of fear and dread like the U.S. news creates.
