Can minelad ml 85 headphones connect to the phone?

Hi I just got a minelab equinox 800. If I connect the headphones then turn off the equinox will I have to reconnect the headphones the next time I turn back on the machine?

No, they will remain paired even after powering down, and should reconnect when you turn the detector back on. I’d suggest powering the headphones on before the detector.

How do you tell when your headphones are charging. When I plug in the charging cord I see 3 red lights and then they go off

If the lights are on, then they’re charging. Once the lights go off they are fully charged.
