You can swap weapons while rolling. Also, when activating blighted rounds or the trickster's Anomaly bullets ability, it will automatically refill your magazine. I really like the potential for a support technomancer, lots of freezing, heals, 45% vuln whenever you use freeze or toxic. Sounds like it could be good... plus some Mr Torgue approved explosions.
I love poison and ice skills, also having a healing skill. However after playing all the classes, I had to choose pyro. If it was more of a cryomancer or necromancer class, I would have been down. Maybe for a second character I'll run the Technomancer.
@@Jsobone I think Tech will be a great beginner class (and dev) to run thru to learn the gameplay, mobs and their abilities before rocking pyro where it will appear to have a much higher learning curve. But Pyro is fun as hell once you figure it out.
@@andrewmarceau422 for sure. Personally I was more sold on the pyro. If they had a class that was ice focused like the pyro it would have been a harder choice. Also poison. The kit for techno is solid and will be an easy pickup for most.

Some things to be noted. The crafting system allows you to upgrade a weapon's rarity. Problem is that it then takes a rarer material to upgrade the weapon from there. Players SHOULD NOT upgrade the rarities of gear like that until the end game. This is particularly relevant to the dlc gear as you can't delete it but it also comes with some pretty all around decent stats. The thing to do later is farm out those rank 2 and 3 mods so you can slot them in on a blue weapon. Then when you have the base mod on that you actually want on it, then upgrade it so you can put a second mod you actually want on it. Case in point... Slot in Death Chains or Ravenous Locust on a sniper rifle. Then upgrade it to put on the other mod. Now you have a gun that even if the headshot isn't effective like against many of the heavy units, the double dot will do some real work. Don't know if they can be upgraded further yet, but I think it's gambling from there.
Used every character devastator is my go to from now on so much fun. The reflect, 50% more dmg to harder enemies, and the gear to fight while reflect is up is the best OP build for him. Other gear is 2 slams and 25% more reflect dmg
Pump shotguns are way better for shield mod in my opinion, have had way more success... I dont really use SMG for my trickster, I use a one shot rifle as well as either a machinegun or shotgun.

13:10 "Only one player can apply a certain status effect on an enemy." The in-game guide says the exact opposite. Each player can apply one of each status. So Players A and B can each apply their own Bleeds, but Player A cannot apply two stacks of Bleed themselves.

The way the dev answer for status stacking reads it sounds like you can stack from one player to another but it refreshes if the same player cast it again. So two players could both put bleeds on the same target but one person could not put two bleeds on it. This helps avoid somebody feeling like their class is useless if they double up on the same status ie two pyros is not less effective.
Toxic also spreads to nearby enemies. It's a great way for technomancer to heal. And with the toxic applies vulnerable skill will melt groups of enemies
If you’re stuck on an area rebuild/respeccing your character is the best. Don’t stress about mods too much but try to collect as many as you can and try out different weapons and variants to find your playstyle

Based on the way the toxic effect works, you just know there's gonna be some kind of raid boss that deals potent toxic damage with no ways to kill mobs to heal yourself, so you'll need a Technomancer. As usually, healers are the most valuable.
This goes with saying to those familiar with shooter genres, but don’t discount critical hits and Crit damage. While the chance for Crits on body shots is fairly low (right now @early game at least) remember headshots always count as critical hits, so always go for the head. Especially if you have a mod that gives healing on critical hits. ( Like mod #2 on the Thunderbird)
The devs have already said it is best to use your mats on endgame weapon drops since it would become expensive to keep leveling up a low level weapon. It's only worth leveling up a Legendary if you can't find another one in time for higher level content. So if you hit a difficulty spike, and need your weapon to be stronger to get through that content for that moment, leveling up your Legendary weapon for example can be worth it, otherwise save those resources up for high level items.
Technomancer has a very good ability to stack both status and ability damaye by stacking your Freeze, Toxic, and Vulnerability all in one attack, and you can spam melee and your freeze enabled abilities to easily stack freeze and vulnerability... I went heavy into ability power/cooldown armor with status weapons and can melt even larger enemies almost instantly by spamming out abilities that inflict heavy status.

Trickster for me, temporal blade and twisted rounds are stupid op if you stack anomaly power. Temporal blade will one shot as many enemies as you can hit with it. And I get two temporal blades and two mags of twisted rounds.
@@TheRhysStreams agree to disagree toxic damage actually only does 3.5% of your anomaly power every .5 seconds for 6 seconds, my twisted rounds add 243 firepower to every shot I take, plus another 15% on top of that because of a head mod, not to mention twisted cooldown is 20 seconds and blighted rounds is I think 50 seconds. But that’s why we have class choices not everyone likes the same one the most.

I am pretty sure you just pull the right trigger without aiming with the left trigger. I haven't played in a while though so I don't remember for sure.
@Vulkan good stuff, thanks man. Got a quick follow-up question related to crafting. I understand that when you craft in a new mod, the other mod slot locks making it so you can only swap out the slot modded. Can you still then make other modifications like swapping out a max health for crit damage? I'm just curious if the crafting operates like Diablo III or even The Division 2 in the sense that once you modify something, only that one slot can be modified.
Do anyone know if missions will be saved where they are at when the game releases? I completed 3 side missions but didn’t turn them in for the rewards in hopes I can get higher gear drops when it releases seeing how I’m pretty much maxed.
Two big things about melee: 1. It scales with anomaly power. Melee is very strong on anomaly builds. 2. It counts as marking for pyromancer, great for healing off anyone that gets too close.
@Vulkan, HI not sure if you actually reply to comments but here goes. Do you know if they are working on connectivity to their Servers...? Or you'll get kicked from the Demo for connection issues to the Servers. I hope it gets better. 🙏
Technomancer is invincible with the minigum equipped with a mod that doubles the loaders, because they cause so much damage that the regeneration is so fast that it is impossible to die. Combine this with two turrets (ice and toxic) that when they do damage also recover your life, that you have an excellent healer with very decent DPS for any situation.
For some enemies yes... But not for any burst DPS enemies like elites with shotguns... I usually go heavy with the life leech/healing and ability power yet an elite with a shotgun can easily wipe the floor with you since you cant dodge or hardly move at all.
The named Debuffs don't stack, but the generic ones do. Example: The heat wave mod that makes enemies take 35% extra damage can stack with itself and with 1 vulnerability. I have 2 heatwaves for a total of 70% extra damage. If I add vulnerability it goes to 95% extra damage. I've tested it in the demo and I can 1 shot the captain with thermal bomb if he is debuffed twice. Before I had enough anomaly power I had to debuff him with vulnerability also, but after getting more gear the vulnerability debuff is unnecessary
My dude. There is this dinging sound in the background audio of this video that I had to pause it multiple times to try and figure out if it was me, good tips - but whatever that is, you should try and lock that down and get rid of it for future videos.
You don't need to exaggerate in the naming of the titles like all the other content creators do. Need to now, must do before too late, doesn't stand out anymore. Great content tho, keep it up
1) do mods on armor and weaponry stack? Can you explain stacking mods and 2) does armor und weaponry always have the same player power stats OR are stats on gear rolled randomly?
No they do not. Keep an eye out for a symbol that look like a #4 dice. Black means you already have learned it, red means you already have it equipped.
I don't really agree with you in the sense of crafting, the thing that makes this game great is if you find a weapon or gear you like you can use crafting to keep that gear with you all the way to the end through crafting and continuing to update your gear. This is not your typical looter shooter where the good weapons and gear doesn't drop till end game, in this game you can update/upgrade your gear all the way through and you can get legendaries right from the beginning which is amazing. Look forward to playing with you all :)
I would think taking the "gun type" nodes on the skill tree would help your RNG if your trying to get a specific lego to drop. Example: If I want a better chance for Aerie Master to drop I would take the shotgun nodes to make more shotguns drop over all
I'm *PYRO* right now just got the game a few days ago, I'll be using TRICKSTER next after I finish campaign, I wonder if we get a trophy for completing the game with each class 🤔
Exactly. People see technomancer as just the support guy who sits back and does nothing.... Because of Technomancers unique skill tree I've merged my skills with status debuffs, inflicting freeze, vulnerable, and toxic, and then melt the enemy with skill spams combined with my one shot rifle... When ignoring support options and going straight DPS, technomancer absolutely wrecks enemies.
Will immunity from different status effects in the same category proc universal immunity? For example, if a mob is immune to ash, would they also be immune to freeze?
You can swap weapons while rolling. Also, when activating blighted rounds or the trickster's Anomaly bullets ability, it will automatically refill your magazine. So it's good to empty all but 2 or 3 of the bullets in your autoshotty mag, activate the ability which will instantly reload your gun, then empty out it again
I'm pretty sure you activate in the middle of a reload too for an instant full mag

Gear stats are random I believe
So what are all the confirmed various weapon types? (AR, Shotgun, Sniper Rilfe, etc)?
Wow great video valkin telling us what we already know just to continue the ride on the outriders hype train lol
Hmmmm, you're one of them guys huh? Any chance you can drop your in-game name now, so I can block you and insure my gaming experience is extra good?
@@Muldaak i was simply stating a fact bude
I don't really agree with you in the sense of crafting, the thing that makes this game great is if you find a weapon or gear you like you can use crafting to keep that gear with you all the way to the end through crafting and continuing to update your gear. This is not your typical looter shooter where the good weapons and gear doesn't drop till end game, in this game you can update/upgrade your gear all the way through and you can get legendaries right from the beginning which is amazing. Look forward to playing with you all :)
I would think taking the "gun type" nodes on the skill tree would help your RNG if your trying to get a specific lego to drop. Example: If I want a better chance for Aerie Master to drop I would take the shotgun nodes to make more shotguns drop over all
They're character specific so... Heaving one of each character is going to be key for farming legendary more efficiently.
I'm *PYRO* right now just got the game a few days ago, I'll be using TRICKSTER next after I finish campaign, I wonder if we get a trophy for completing the game with each class 🤔
how exactly do you know the drop bonus on weapon nodes doesnt increase drop rate WHILE USING those weapons?
The right variant on a weapon can change everything.
im the type of guy that wants to use the supposed weakest class and make them better then the others so technomancer is my fav
How did u get those legendaries so early in the game
Will immunity from different status effects in the same category proc universal immunity?
For example, if a mob is immune to ash, would they also be immune to freeze?
Techno all day.
