Thank you so much!!
thank you , im about to make a u part wig
You’re so welcome!
Love this!!! With cutting the wefts and securing the ends as you do does the hair shed less?
Thank you!! And you know what, I didn’t think about it that way. I secured the ends to make sure the wig lasts as long as possible but you are so right! The wig doesn’t shed! 💚
Thank you sm for this video, I can't wait to try make my own. Could you let me know what the needle size is that you are using and your machine settings.
Also if I want to make a kinky straight Bob, would you suggest 2 or 3 bundles, given how thick the hair is?
You’re so welcome and thank you for watching!!
I’m using a Singer sewing machine and the needles are the same brand, heavy duty 110/18. I used a zigzag stitch to sew the bundles together, and a straight stitch to construct the wig. My tension was on 4, width between 3-4, length between 2-3.
The number of bundles you’ll need depends on the length and whether you want it to look natural or dramatically full. I think 2 bundles for lengths less than 20”-22” is enough for a natural look. You can add the third for more fullness, of course. We don’t sell kinky straight at the moment, however our Micah curl bundles can give you that kinky straight look if you blow dry it out… in case, you were looking for hair. 😊 I hope this information helps!💚
Is there any reason you used a straight line stitch to secure as opposed to a zig zag? Where exactly do you aim to sew? The top track or the bottom or in the middle?
@@aidanadv1016 I prefer to use a straight line stitch because it’s easier for me when I have to correct any mistakes, but you can use a straight or zig zag pattern. Also, I sew on the top track. So sorry for the late response 💚
Also whats the difference in using that larger Singer machine and not a usual Brother brand for sewing simple material? Im trying to figure out if i really should upgrade
@@aidanadv1016 I’ve always used Singer, so I can’t really speak to any other brands.
I know you said zig zag to double the wefts. What stitch did you use to secure the track?
Hi there! A single stitch was used to secure the track💚
What type of thread do you use to thread your bobbin and to sew? And what type of needle for the sewing machine?
Hi there! I used #Singer sewing machine so I try to stick with all #Singer products. I used #Singer thread 67110 and #Singer heavy duty needles 110/18. I hope this helps 💚
Do you have a direct link for the pencil?
I’m sorry I don’t but I got it from Amazon and honestly any white fabric pencil will work.
