i cant afford a home but my kanopix tools looks amazing in my tent under the highway overpass.
Lmfao 🤣
Is your tent wired with romex? You are so lucky too, you didn't buy a house and over pay in the last 3-4 years. You have no negative equity or high expenses. Make sure you get your credit good so when prices of homes fall, and they are, you can get something.
I have so many knipex tools but I want more. They’re great quality!
we need a tool to make electricians clean up after themselves
yeah it's called shame
It's called a maid and you don't have to pay her 160$ a hr to clean
We call those laborers
Just dont complain about the bill when were done dusting
It's in our contract that we don't clean up after ourselves
i prefer my rack-a-tiers crocs. easily split and strip rolex sheathing, the nose can fit inside a single gang box, and they’re smaller and skinnier. easier to slip into a pocket.
Crocs are the best
looks neat and all but a pair of normal electricians wire strippers and razer blade you can do 12/2 12/3 14/2 14/3 10/2 etc etc etc.....
I'd like to see you stick it in a single gang box and use it
Best tools! You pay, but they're worth it.
Give me something that doesn’t fill up one of my tool pouches with just 1 tool
Electricians always need a Good STRIPPER! Where can i buy one?😊
I will stick with a knife I can get up in the box, Boi. 01 for life.
Though it won't improve any of the joints, unions, or splices I've encountered throughout the years. That's for damn sure!
Strip it all the way in the box.
Bruh. He’s not wiring the building
@@untouchedforce6388 no kidding. I'd like to see if the tool is capable of going all the way in the box.
@@NapoleonsRevenge215 im sure it reaches better then the harbor freight stripper
@@untouchedforce6388 obviously.
A utility knife is good for that or strip before you put in the box
Knipex is awesome, love everive bought from them
Jokary - "Support my beer"
Don't know why there's no comments. Electricians should be going crazy over this. It saves soooo much time.
Because it's been done before
Probably can't see it!!!they run out room getting up close if the camera person knows how to zoom it would make a huge difference
As an electrician, i have a $15 pair of ideal strippers that do this just fine and i have no problems being fast, it also helps save time if you dont pull a *mile* of wire out that box.
Its a useless tool.
Way too big and cumbersome
I need to get one of those.
Damn I bought the south wire romex stripper and it’s hell
Beautiful 😊
Nice!!
Can u strip from inside the box….. leaving 1/4 inch of strip inside the box?
No it can not fit in the box
@@P_steez
That's what she said! 😊
@@cncsoutwestprofessionalhom7770 hehehe never heard that one unfortunately!:/
that’s great and all, but they look like stampers for paper. very bulky idk if they’d fit comfortably in anybody’s bags. wire strippers are slim and made out of metal all the way through.
Ideal 45-235. had one for 20 years looks identical.
Paper 😱😱😱😱😱
Good lord, i swear most of y'all would b!tch if they hung you with a new rope. Reading the comments is always good for laughs. "I just use my Johnson to strip wires" "well so and so makes one already" "all you new electricians need fancy tools" "imagine carrying that all day"
It's like some of y'all cannot help yourself, you have to have something to batch about.
I strip with a knife? I mean this is quick but at the end of the day it wouldnt save me that much time might save carpal tunnel
You realize a “seasoned” rope cinches better than a new rope right? 😂😂 just because it’s new doesn’t mean the old wasn’t working great for those who relied on it.
@@lbjr777 😂😂😂
$101.63 on Amazon. Utility knife $6.00 home depot
That's a handy tool to have.
Best in the business
Y'all with the paper cables still.
paper is just a manufacturing byproduct. it doesn't serve any function. the outer plastic jacket and inner insulation do the work of electric insulation
Shoot! Iv been calling them "nip-ex" for the last 15 years 😅
Because American English speakers pronounce the “kn” as in knee thus this is a redcoat company 😂😂😂
k-ni-pex ! Not even ka-ni-pex
Same
and all are wrong even the dude in the video, its kni-pex
source: they are german, i am german
Sorry I refuse to pronounce it "correctly" been doing it wrong for too long and ka-nipex just doesn't sound right.
Ive got a 4 dollar wire stripper that does this perfectly😂, now if i had to strip wires every day, then i would buy a nice tool like that.
How much and how do I get them?
I miss the 90° 12-2 klein strippers. The straight ones are great but it dont work as well in boxes or panels
Do they not make the 90's anymore? I can't find them. Thanks for the info on advance
@@richardpatterson4312 they're hard to find on eBay or Amazon. Klein stopped a while ago unfortunately
Will it make a loop too though?
A link would be nice
Can you get that inside the box to strip the wire though
I absolutely need that, i hate stripping cable with a knife
I use an envelope opener for my romex at panels, works great
Rly nice to see german tools in usa !
OK but what about 10 two or 10 three or 14 three or 12 three or 14 two do they work great on those too
They already have those that work faster. They're called wire strip ears. And they work ten times faster than those things
Wire strip ears?
@@EmmanuelGonzalez-pw5euI think he meant stripper, they sell klein NM strippers that work fine
V cutters
Want that one
Jokari wire strippers i biught some 12 years ago. Still have them
I can do that with a 5 cent straight razor from Home Depot
I still use grampas old timer knife. 74 Year old knife still strips good 👍😎
What about 14 & 10 also?
If you close your eyes he kinda sounds like kermit
well how its different from my haupa wire stripper, looks like its a same mold?
I still do not understand what profession uses these. You cant strip the wire inside the box, so its useless for like 95% of residential electric work.
Besides that, theyre huge. I dont want that big ass thing taking up space in my toolbelt when a pair of linemans pliers does everything it does and more...
Can anyone that actually uses these share their experience?
If you're roughing in a residential dwelling with Romex, you might be inclined to strip your Romex before bringing it into a new work box. In such case this tool would be sweet to have. But I'm with you, such a tool would be best if it can fit inside the work box.
Omg!!! finally someone pronouncing it right 😮😮😮😮
If everyone else is wrong and you’re the only one who is “right” you’re probably not correct. If you’re an American company then it’s nip-ex, otherwise your a redcoat turncoat pronouncing it Ken-ip-ex because your partial to Ken dolls and not Barbie 😂😂😂
@@lbjr777 It's German
Does it do 14 though
k-ni-pex ! Not ka-ni-pex
Brother wtf is a Kahnipex? 😂
NOICE!
Wait.. America is using paper in their walls AND their wires?
tweekers dream
Take my money
Strip it according to code only leaving a quarter inch of insulation in that box i garuntee you cant get that hunk of shit deep in a 5 gang box with 9 wires in it
Don’t buy these…. I bought a pair of these and a pair of joker wire stripes similar to these, the became loose within two months. Broke at 6 months. They are made of plastic…
yea we dont need them here, so they are for americans, sooo they make them according to the american standarts, broken at delivery
Will they fit into the back of the box to strip after wire inserted in it??
Granted I’m not an electrician but I don’t think you’re supposed to be pulling that much of the sheathing off
@@dr.haroldweinstein51573/4" max sheathing sticking into the box
Where r u at? 2020? Lol
just get a utility knife with a dull blade and it will save you lots of money.
Your name has an extra syllable in it.
Wait American cable has paper inside of it??? Why?
Errrr a basic wirestripper works on more than flat wires and costs a lot less
Been using one tool to do this for 41 years.
It's significantly smaller and cheaper.
and it does 12 and 14.
Sir how is it automatic if youre doing it manually...
It automatically adjusts to the correct size
@@FriendsAndTheirGames then they should call it that.
@@Thatoneguywhowaslikewow they do, they're called Automatic Strippers
@@FriendsAndTheirGames But not automatic adjusting? Because automatic strippers and auto adjust are 2 different things. 1 is saying they'll automatically strip. The other is saying they'll adjust automatically. So which one is it because it's not both.
@Thatoneguywhowaslikewow theyre automatic adjusting and they're called automatic strippers. You see normally for these things you just use your brain and put 2 and 2 together
were so loaded we can take the whole cover off this 12-2
What about 12 3,10 3 and so on....
Why couldn’t he stick it in the box?
Why couldn’t he strip the wire inside the box?
It's no shit pronounced "kuh-nih-pex"?
I been calling in "nye-pex" (silent k) for a long time and no one has corrected me D=
I’ve always said “Ni-Pex”. Lol
Yupp... They're made in like Germany or some ish like that, so the name isn't English & the K is infact *_not_* silent 😂
I was about to say it.. I presume its just the us market everywhere in Europe is nipex
Its more like k nee pex.. The uh sound is just stupid
What about the big ass wires that go to the panel
That don’t look like it would fit in the box….
I am a real german. It is NOT KUHnipex. Just Knipex. Don't overthink it. Just say it.
Yanks will still over complicate things just to irritate us
A little too bulky for my taste. They should streamline it down a little.
Want!
😮
I can strip the sheathing, strip the conductors and splice all with my linemen pliers.
Stick the romecks inside the box’s then do that 😂👍
one would think working for the company you could pronounce the name even somewhat close to correct.
Hes at what 2023 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🧐🧐🧐
Tbh your gonna blow em up or they will dull from my experience they do make some good strippers/ flat pliers
Imagine carrying that big damn thing around all day What a pain in the ass
Kinnehpix? Is that how it’s pronounced?
Noice
Already carrying other tools which do all of these things just fine...
Strippers do the same thing and take up half the space
Hell, paper wrapped cables. Oh dear.
Expensive though
Old metal potato peeler will strip out the sheathing on romex ,and they cost the dollar.
Yeah…but he’s not stripping it in the box.
It’s not Knipex! It’s kniiieeeepex…
(Don’t ask me, why. Watch there German videos ^^)
And I can do the same without spending the ungodly prices y’all ask for your tools.
Can I do the same job as fast? Maybe, but when you’re talking mere seconds of time difference, it all washes out at the end of the job.
Not for me it's too hard to fit in a box
