I started buy Knipex tools many years ago and my collection of them is vast and the Cobra/Pliers wrench are some of the best. I just recently purchased 2024 ZX6R motor cycle and needed to adjust the chain, I needed a 32mm socked and didn't have it on hand, but the 12 inch pliers wrench did the job of loosening and tightening that castle nut with ease. The twin grip is my latest addition and it's awesome.
The Knipex Cobras are the best tools I have. I've got the big one and the small one, and they go through plenty of abuse, and just keep going. They're awesome, and well worth their price!
I started buying Knipex about 2 years ago. I love them!! Like you said. The raptors are a wonderful tool to use!! Whenever I reach for them (any knipex) I get a smile on my face because I know the quality I’m about to hold and the ability of said tool 👍🤜🤛
Happy to say that for around the house use I have three of your five, 180 cobra, twin grip plier and 180 plier wrench, all with comfort grips. You're right on about the 180 size, particularly around the house, plenty of tool. Great tools, little pricey but good value.

Xl cobras, the big guns set 300 cobras 250 circlip pliers, inside and outside Mini bolt cutters Flush cuts I do not own a set of knipex tools with the molded handles, I buy the basic variants. But I’ve definitely noticed, that even if I have a tool that should be a better quality, like snap-on, I’m reaching for my knipex version or alternative. I have an old pair of snap-on slip joint pliers, I inherited them and they are older than I am, I love them, and I use them everyday, but for grabbing onto things I find myself still reaching for the cobras. I had a pair of cheap flush cutters, just to clean up zip ties after jobs, and kept wearing the blades out on them, they no longer cut as clean and started to not be able to cut into plastic parts bags and instead started to tear. So I splurged and got the knipex alternative, it’s not that expensive just that it was something that I couldn’t see the point in spending more money on, and I was really wrong, the second I had them in my hands and was using them it was a total game changer. I couldn’t believe the difference in two tools that looked almost identical, but the knipex are a joy to use where the other brands were mediocre. Even snap-on can’t compare to knipex in the flush cut department.
Cobras and Pliers Wrench are probably the two most popular Knipex tools. I personally prefer the pliers wrench because the non marring jaws, and I also like them in 180mm.
I've had the pliers wrenches since release they're okay but if you use them alot the Jaws end up getting loser and loser I've done had over 25 pairs warrantied out if they didn't have a lifetime warranty through my snap on dealer I wouldn't have them!
Cobra 150 for edc, Cobra 180 around the house, or in the pocket at work and the Cobra 250 in the toolchest at work. The general use pliers Knipex 03-02-180 , are my favorite pliers ever, they cut cable easier than any other I ever had, easier even than the Knipex angle cutters, that have longer handle!!! Also Knipex pliers wrench, either the 180 or the 250 depending on your needs! Hi, what size cobras and pliers wrench do you use most often? I’d like to buy some for my father in law who is a home remodeling contractor. He’d never treat himself to something like this. Thank you!
Greetings from Germany... where these are all a bit cheaper, fortunately. I‘m a big Knipex fan myself, owning more than 25 different types. The oldest one I‘ve got is older than me, it was made in the early 60ies, it‘s a flat one without any grip coating. Although I also have a modern one of that type with the comfort grip, too, sometimes the older one just gives a better touch to the things gripped. I prefer the 150 and 250mm Cobras: the latter being a beefy waterpump pliers as we know them, but the 150er is a class of its own, extremely handy. And I‘m not a big fan of the combination pliers; they do various tasks, but none of them really well. On my list would be the CoBolt 250 as the strongest cutter there is in that length category.

That’s not what your mother said last night.
Knipex is sure a top brand, but to be honest, I more and more see they in a grey zone... They SURELY are not the "bang for the buck", that title usually belongs to Irwin, but they are also not the best money can buy, you know? They frequently show their value in neat design tricks here and there, but besides that, they are just overpriced. Not just Knipex, German brands in general are overpriced. Again, they are top quality, but for the same money or less, you can buy American or Japanese tools that actually perform better. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
isn't the K silent knock
German brand so no
Honestly the pliers wrench is overrated. It isn't a replacement for an adjustable, dedicated combo wrench set, or pipe wrench. It can definitely speed up plumbing jobs tho.
Who carries Knipex tools?😊
Or don’t buy any of them and instead buy 100 other tools for the same price
To each, his own! 😁
Dude! Just do something with your fucking hands!
Umm ok… lol, you’re definitely salty. You got the perfect name for yourself! 👍
Dude, nice comment. You’re an ass

The pliers wrench is worth every penny and i feel they pay for themselves in about a week. If i lose or break mine i will immediately get another set
I have a lot of cool 20 dollar tools my man but that's a great deal for what you get cause 2o dollars usually doesn't get you jack ....!!!!
They better have scratches on them. 😊
i cut stainless steel wire with my linemans.
