  • I'm using a novel little CCD Canon camera here, the Canon Pro 1!
Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a great walkaround camera with a sharp lens, and of course a CCD sensor.
I'll be making another more in depth video in the coming months when the weather and landscape allows for more colorful shots lol.
    Thanks for viewing!

Nice apartment, creaky rocking chair and dark green walls, I like that.

Great video Matt! I too have been rocking the CCD sensor thing lately! Awesome shots there, the colours are great. Looks like a perfect grab and go camera! My sweet spot for most cameras are 5-16mp, large range, but I find those are the "least" popular, but have some of the best colour science. I have seen a huge increase in pricing on CCD based cameras. There are some hidden gems still out there, that have such great look! Thanks for sharing!

Love the results coming out of this camera. Canon CCD compact cameras were great. My brother had an IXUS 30 that had great output as well. There was plenty of noise at base iso already, though.

Great video. It's cool to see how to enjoy your equipment and get aside the money for a moment. I have a Fuji S4000. It's far away from being a professional câmera but damn, how i love it.

Just picked up an Olympus C-7070, gonna let the G.A.S. ride and get a Powershot Pro 1 too I guess lmao

I’m in Duluth for a Robotics’s competition what a coincidence that I was recommended this 😅

I have one and it is a fun camera. However I have two complaints is that the Chromatic Aberration is really bad (even when compared to other cameras in its age) and the Electronic Zoom is very slow. Bridge Cameras of this era with a mechanical zoom like the Minolta DiMage A2 or Sony F828 had a leg up simply because of how slow the early electronic zoom motors were (Something that got a lot better a few years later)

I love your blogging style Matt! I have my Dad's old Nikon D40 and just LOVE the colors.

That abandoned mall or whatevs in the beginning of the video was very liminal. Nice vid. I love those old ccd sensor cameras. I use a Canon G9 myself.
