ok rt is that this is lindsay’s fuckin SONG. she’s sang it at so many performances and it’s always PHENOMENAL and so powerful every single time. it’s also really interesting because you can hear subtle changes in her voice as you sort of progress from the first time she sang it live to now/the most recent time. in conclusion, i love lindsay and if she doesn’t get nominated for a tony i will cry.
I've only ever heard two people try this song. Lindsay is the OG here. It's incredible how dramatic she makes this incredibly difficult song. The register changes alone are so incredibly difficult to pull off cleanly. Natalie Weiss does a really great job too. But this is just magic in this video
Totally wish I knew about her performances sooner and that I didn't live on the West Coast. Would've loved to hear her sing live. But completely awesome song and singer!!!!
