The Magnaflow exhaust on Big Green definitely takes the cake!
Big green sounds better, but Dodgezilla is damn good for an exhaust that likely didn't cost as near as much as if you bought an aftermarket Magnaflow. Good job on both.
Big Green sounds better. It also looks better. I'm a fan of Ram trucks but that thing looks like a joke with the bedliner and headliner, and the truck nuts make it look like Kent is compensating for something.

That 350 sounds a lot better than the 318

I think that the Chevy sounded better, but the Dodge wasn't bad at all. They both made a great showing traveling up Gold Mine Hill.
I had a 1995 Dodge ram for 2 years then we gave it to my uncle.

About the Honda, they've mentioned before that there is a road that comes up the back side of the hill that regular cars can drive up. Which it did. ;)

Must be having some special brownies there in Colorado with thanksgiving because you know there is no way in hell that the joke AWD system that Honda slapped on those things would have gotten it up the same roads that those trucks took. They have said many times in previous vids that there is another route there that the camera crew takes.

I got a soft spot for the sound of a Mopar LA V8! I've had both GMC/Chevy and Dodge, and I prefer my Dodges. I'd take a 360 over the 318 though, those things are ANIMALS!!

Yep, Colorado Springs and Castlerock got about 2 inches of snow Friday night.
There seems to be a misconception on how 'open' differentials work. They aren't "one wheel drive" - both wheels receive power but they are limited by the amount of traction any single wheel gets. Let's say the engine provides 100 ft lbs of torque to the rear differential, in an ideal situation, each wheel would receive 50ft lbs. However, if one of the wheels loses traction at only 25 ft lbs (because it's on ice), the other wheel will receive an equal amount (25 ft lbs) They may or may not be enough to move the vehicle forward (it usually isn't) but both wheels are still powered. Just my $0.02

Kent’s truck really needs bigger tires. Those little tiny tires are a bad fit for that big old loft kit, especially with the front axle all low.

The dodge is nice. Bigger tires and a 318 will require some gears. Plus huge tires break stuff.
Mark Jones I doubt it. That’s why you have 4 low. 318’s are fairly torquey for being small blocks, and his has some performance mods like headers.
Steven Vanheel no he’s right. With a 5.2 and open diff 3.55 it’s best to stick to around a 33. My Dodge has a 5.9 and limited slip 3.92 diff, I won’t run anything taller than a 35.

Mr truck, about the death wobble... my 2008 Tundra Crewmax 2wd allegedly has the death wobble? How do I get rid of it?
I don't know , what we did was buy a bracket made for death wobble that connected the steering box (which we replaced) to the frame brackets of the anti-sway bar. And replaced the track bar and steering ball joints and then an alignment. It took all that to get rid of it. It mostly occurs in short wheelbase lifted trucks and jeeps. Ford has some wobble like that on some F450-550s that needs a differential frame brace. Ford denies it exists. Of course Chrysler denies it's a problem.
MrTruckTV Yes very true regarding Ford's death Wobble situation being denied and recognized. My truck is a shortbed, I will look into getting a sway bar and a addressing all the other little things that come with it. Dodgezilla... sounds like a great idea, but frankly that truck is the worst example of a dodge 2nd gen build I’ve ever seen. Coulda made a dodge amazing but that looks like a half assed, cobbled together, piss poor example of a dodge.
Only thing cooler than climbing the hill with Big Green would be doing it with a K5 Blazer.

Ya that 4x set up dodge switched to was a mistake. I have a 2nd gen 2500 and put a free spin kit on it. Dana 60 and 80 with locking hubs. Now it’s tough and you know it’s in 4x. Lol.
P.S nothing sounds better then a mopar in the ketchup.

If anyone has ever had a Dodge ram and their transmissions have failed I've had over 10 of them registered by the DMV Good running 4x4s as long as you don't take it in the mud The vacuum lines are ridiculous it's uncomparable to the TH400 transmissions maybe an adapter plate for the Dodge
I think the ram sounds better mainly because I've got a zj with the same engine but no muffler and I love the way it sounds

On my Dodge Ram I push my 4x4 shifter forward all the way to get to 4 low. 2001 1500 5.9 magnum v8. I noticed on this 94 Ram he pulls all the way back and calls it 4 low.?? I have both Chevy k10 and second gen Ram 4x4. My dodge is a gas guzzler 10mpg avg but I love it. K10 454 7 mpg great in the mud.
