Zhezhi being overshadowed by the client is I think the point of the trailer. The trailer is a representation of what it can feel like working with certain types of clients. He's a charismatic guy, goofy and fun, but he also has no idea what he truly wants and bulldozes through Zhezhi's policies and procedures for the sake of his "vision", rushes her, and when she can't deliver a painting he is satisfied with in that time, he threatens to take his money elsewhere. But you almost don't notice how he is disrespecting her work on first viewing because again, the guy is funny, hilarious and grandiose. And a lot of artists will relate to the feeling of being disrespected like this, but unable to point it out due to financial concern or they themselves find their client charismatic and be therefore willing to acquiesce to their demands.
30:00 xiangli yao is op as shit, one of the strongest characters with a mechanic that freezes enemies in place during his ult. and i was really lucky i got back into the game right when his banner was ongoing, and i didnt even know he was free. i would've cried if i missed him. how the hell is such a cool character free. and did i mention he's an absolute sweetheart? such a pure soul that guy. i love him lol, and i really want to give him a hug, dude just needs some friends.
My interest in WuWa was reignited after I saw an edit of him, I started playing the game again because I heard he was free and now I’m obsessed with his character. Literally the reason I keep playing the game is for him. I wanna R6 him and get his signature weapon, which is something I’ve never done for a character before (I usually just stop at first copy)

Yinlin IS voiced by Arcana’s VA! There’s other Reverse VAs in Wuwa as well, such as Encore being voiced by Regulus and Phrolova being voiced by Sonetto. It’s pretty cool!

Yeah WuWa has been great since the 1.1 update. The story and the music have improved by A LOT, the characters get better and better and the developers genuinely care about the game. They constantly update the community, constantly release a ton of new QoL features , give out free stuff ( like the free 5 star Xiangli Yao) and aren't too proud of themselves to make some jokes with the community. Feel free to try it out again! :D
the new region's music is phenomenal, I'm sooo addicted to it, accompanied with great story and u got an absolute cinema...also the mount firmament music is so good too...i can't get them out of my mind lol
I think ~ the trailer of Zhezhe is the most interesting one. In fact, I have never seen a trailer of a certain character can be presented with such a wonderful story narrative. While showing the character of the role's professional and story, it also naturally inserts her fighting and model display， it‘s so neoteric！
i watched the shorekeeper's showcase after playing through the 1.3 story and that bit of piano at the end of the showcase hit me in a way i did not expect

Try watch the cinematic that they released before the 1.1: "AS FATE HAS DECREED". It's a bit of Jinhsi and the Sentinel history. And they improved a lot of things like the music in the new areas are rlly good and the performance it's a lot better than in the start (for me work rlly well). The history improved a lot too and we have a lot of QoL every patch.

You should react to the patch update trailer, Jinshi looks absolutely gorgeous in 1.1 trailer. Honestly I think that sold me and made me want to get her more than her actual trailer.
wuwa is getting better especially with optimization too. while i was home i've had a lot of time to play and it has been a LOT better since. now im back in my dorm and my enemy is just sharing wifi with others lol. personally i've had the most fun, especially 1.1 and 1.2 are amazing (though i think u cant experience 1.2 festival story bc its passed...) while 1.3 i'm a bit eh about at least 50% of it... but it has a new area thats very beautiful so... i think try it again and see if it feels much better!

Related to your question, yes, Xiangli Yao its a good character and easy to use. Since you’re reacting to the character trailers, I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t tell you to watch the 1.1 story trailer. It’s called “As Fate Has Decreed” | Wuthering Waves Featured Cinematic. Despite being called a cinematic, it does not appear in game, so you have to watch the trailer to see it. It also just so happens to be the single best piece of visual story that Wuwa has ever put out, both in-game and out of game promos. There’s other trailers you can watch if you want to have a bundle video like this, but it’s good enough to be a solo upload.

The game has improved a lot in terms of optimisation and every other aspect like in game music and visuals, so hopefully your computer will have a better time if you're considering going back, which I highly suggest as someone who has kept playing since day 1! Great video! :)
to wuwa in general 1) they did some performance optimization to make it less resource hungry iirc 2) there are some sidequests but so far these are more on the smaller side instead so far the patches main fokus was the main story chapter and 1-2 character quests which should be played along for lore/immersion 3) besides that lot of openworld to explore and the weeky/monthly dungeon stuff for farming and fighting challenges mfg Olli
Well she hasn't even gotten passed 1.0s story yet so she has alot she can do including the important side quests that have lore in it so she won't get bored easily if she's mainly a story person instead of a hard-core open world grinder

The game still has some rough edges (specially the background sounds not mixing well with the tone of the dialogue) but overall the game is in good condition. One amazing thing Wuwa has is the character story quest. They really made you love the characters with the story quest, Changli's story being one of my favorite. It surprised me how wholesome it was. Even Xiang Liao's story quest was good even tho I didn't initially like his personality. I'm happy to tell you that a piece of the piano music from Shorekeeper's trailer is actually in the game. It's not implemented the way you think it should have but it was used beautifully.
Kuro did more than just put one Piano Music for shorekeeper. She has 6. 1 for the trailer , 2 original songs , 3 different pieces as Theme song two of which counts as Rover's and Shorekeeper's Theme song.
For Shorekeeper's showcase, there is also a behind the scene video, showing the mini(?) orchestra playing the music. You probably want to watch that as well!

Kuro answered your prayers, 1.1 started with quite a good few tracks and 1.3 blew everything out with not just crazy new world map design but many great tracks
Xiangli Yao is indeed op as all living shit. He synergizes with with Yinlin on a crazy level and his ult is crazy. His ult sends him into a special mode where his damage is increased and every few attacks he can release a special attack that deals insane damage and hits all enemies within a large radius around him and then slowing them and I mean insanely large range it has. Shorekeeper is also a really good healer/buffer. My main team is Xiangli Yao(main dps), Yinlin(sub dps), and Shorekeeper(healer/buffer). I also have all their main weapons and I’m completely 100% f2p 😊
Sad news for Georgiee: 1) PGR is about to go to final stage 2) Gray Ravens are now 3rd Generation in CN (And I'm not about game mechanics) My prediction is that it will end in about 1-2 years in CN and 2-3 years in global
The Ost's have definitely improved since and definitely still be improving. Shorekeeper is the current limited convene and I don't think you wanna miss out, she's a support too
I have a bias with 1.0 showcases (Jiyan and Yinlin's) XD but I believe the quality just kept increasing from there. Also as someone who mains Xiangli Yao, he is so good for a free character, I had to pull another copy of him with his weapon. Fun to play and I love his close combat animations.
Shorekeepers demo is genuinely one of the greatest demos not just for wuwa, but for majority of the demos for all 3 hoyo games. Kuro elevates their game faster than expected.
Kuro has massively improved the optimization for the game, and have made it to where you can launch the game with Direct X to make it run even better. And the environments and music have been a lot better of recent as well. 1.3 has the best story so far and genuinely made me emotional.
He literally has the second highest damage numbers after jinhsi but is alot easier to use. He is also on the current strongest team comp in the game which is shore keeper, yinlin and xiangli yao
The game improved so much in such a short time. I honestly didn't mind 1.0 even if it was a little slow at the start, because if it was faster, I probably would be more confused with the terms and such but I know not everyone appreciated yapping, but personally I just saw it as an intro sequence to a novel which is hard to nail and definitely will take a bit to get to the dramatic part. I think wuwa is just a game you can both play casually, or be a combat fanatic, or a lore nerd for.
My Favourite one is Xiangli Yao! I really loved him and his event was so enjoyable. Gameplay wise my favourites are Changli and Jinhsi, but i think the more time passes and the more amazing gameplays kuro will create and my favourite weapons are the Guns... So now i'm waiting for a 5star Gunner 😆 If you have time to explore a bit the main story i'd love to see it! I enjoy to see your reactions and opinions :o
they actually have improved alot, INCLUDING THE MUSIC. LIKE ALOT. they also kinda buffed the "1.0 open world music". also, not only was Xiangli Yao free, he is meta as fuck.
shorekeeper + yinlin + xiangli yao = 100k+ damage on his ultimate i'm not the best player and my echoes are all over the place, but these tree are max leveled and yeah, playing him is fun as hell and i do feel like he's op, so glad he was free
Can confirm, Xiangli Yao is strong as hell. Also have you seen the featured cinematics? Till this day i think the Jinhsi one is the best one they've done because everything about it was percfect. Also speaking of music, i thought they did their best work with version 1.1's music and mt fermament, but this recent version, 1.3 just surpassed that.

Xiangli yao is currently the strongest electro elemental character in the game which is crazy since he was free yet they still made him super strong 😂. Usually other games give out trashy characters for free yet wuthering waves does the opposite. The free characters are just as good as the pay to win characters. Also canonically shorekeeper is the main love interest for mc although other females in the game have good chemistry with mc as well.
Unfortunately kuro had a scheduling issue with the studio they usually work with to make music & had to use like a back up plan, but now they ironed it out, the music has been fantastic.
they didn't and i have no idea where you found that "info". Kuro planned on making their own studio for wuthering waves while still working with vanguard studios for pgr. The only thing Vanguard studio did was the song "flow"
1) yinlin was great great for the first banner great design and really loving her voice(acting) she is a caster but instead of "shooting magic projectiles" having the puppet attached to her through the strings she is moving along with her body makes it look so much fluid/like some form of melee combat 2) jinhsi - little girl using claymore - though mostly to sit on it while slashing with her dragon^^ 3) changli - big girl with regular sword and a big fire... 4) zhezhi - the one everyone wants to protect and treat her client like a certain adventurer from over in genshin^^ 5) xiangli - good kid thats all in a good sense^^ - too bad for you no beard though 6) shorekeeper - like a cute little puppy :) mfg Olli
38:49 You're in luck cause if you want to play as XLY (Xiangli Yao), his best team is with Yinlin AND Shorekeeper while Changli and Jinhsi are great with Zhezhi (so either Changli or Jinhsi should be paired with Zhezhi for the team). 39:31 The trailers are great, my favorites so far are Yinlin, Changli, and Shorekeeper. From Yinlin to Shorekeeper, the only one I don't have is Jinhsi (I'm still salty about it, I lost 50/50) so I can confidently say that they are SUPER FUN to play as, ESPECIALLY the Changli/Zhezhi combo. I would love to watch you play Wuthering Waves again but you do you.
Wuwa lost lot of players during debut patch cause they fumbled so hard but since then they have continuously improved in every way, the story, the voice acting, technical issue everything. I do hope they go back to 1.0 and fix it because first impression is everything.

You really missed out, they gave us a copy of Xiangli Yao for free in the last update in an event. Which is crazy considering the dmg he puts out.

Xiangli Yao is indeed op as all living shit. He synergizes with with Yinlin on a crazy level and his ult is crazy. His ult sends him into a special mode where his damage is increased and every few attacks he can release a special attack that deals insane damage and hits all enemies within a large radius around him and then slowing them and I mean insanely large range it has. Shorekeeper is also a really good healer/buffer. My main team is Xiangli Yao(main dps), Yinlin(sub dps), and Shorekeeper(healer/buffer). I also have all their main weapons and I’m completely 100% f2p 😊
Sad news for Georgiee:
1) PGR is about to go to final stage
2) Gray Ravens are now 3rd Generation in CN (And I'm not about game mechanics)
My prediction is that it will end in about 1-2 years in CN and 2-3 years in global

btw, the character cinematics are all canon and connected to in-game story or lore.
The Ost's have definitely improved since and definitely still be improving. Shorekeeper is the current limited convene and I don't think you wanna miss out, she's a support too

I have a bias with 1.0 showcases (Jiyan and Yinlin's) XD but I believe the quality just kept increasing from there.
Also as someone who mains Xiangli Yao, he is so good for a free character, I had to pull another copy of him with his weapon. Fun to play and I love his close combat animations.

Shorekeepers demo is genuinely one of the greatest demos not just for wuwa, but for majority of the demos for all 3 hoyo games. Kuro elevates their game faster than expected.

Kuro has massively improved the optimization for the game, and have made it to where you can launch the game with Direct X to make it run even better. And the environments and music have been a lot better of recent as well. 1.3 has the best story so far and genuinely made me emotional.

He literally has the second highest damage numbers after jinhsi but is alot easier to use. He is also on the current strongest team comp in the game which is shore keeper, yinlin and xiangli yao

The game improved so much in such a short time. I honestly didn't mind 1.0 even if it was a little slow at the start, because if it was faster, I probably would be more confused with the terms and such but I know not everyone appreciated yapping, but personally I just saw it as an intro sequence to a novel which is hard to nail and definitely will take a bit to get to the dramatic part. I think wuwa is just a game you can both play casually, or be a combat fanatic, or a lore nerd for.

My Favourite one is Xiangli Yao! I really loved him and his event was so enjoyable. Gameplay wise my favourites are Changli and Jinhsi, but i think the more time passes and the more amazing gameplays kuro will create and my favourite weapons are the Guns... So now i'm waiting for a 5star Gunner 😆

they actually have improved alot, INCLUDING THE MUSIC. LIKE ALOT. they also kinda buffed the "1.0 open world music". also, not only was Xiangli Yao free, he is meta as fuck.

Can confirm, Xiangli Yao is strong as hell. Also have you seen the featured cinematics? Till this day i think the Jinhsi one is the best one they've done because everything about it was percfect. Also speaking of music, i thought they did their best work with version 1.1's music and mt fermament, but this recent version, 1.3 just surpassed that.

Xiangli yao is currently the strongest electro elemental character in the game which is crazy since he was free yet they still made him super strong 😂. Usually other games give out trashy characters for free yet wuthering waves does the opposite. The free characters are just as good as the pay to win characters. Also canonically shorekeeper is the main love interest for mc although other females in the game have good chemistry with mc as well.

Unfortunately kuro had a scheduling issue with the studio they usually work with to make music & had to use like a back up plan, but now they ironed it out, the music has been fantastic.
they didn't and i have no idea where you found that "info". Kuro planned on making their own studio for wuthering waves while still working with vanguard studios for pgr. The only thing Vanguard studio did was the song "flow"
1) yinlin was great great for the first banner great design and really loving her voice(acting)
she is a caster but instead of "shooting magic projectiles" having the puppet attached to her through the strings she is moving along with her body makes it look so much fluid/like some form of melee combat
2) jinhsi - little girl using claymore - though mostly to sit on it while slashing with her dragon^^
3) changli - big girl with regular sword and a big fire...
4) zhezhi - the one everyone wants to protect and treat her client like a certain adventurer from over in genshin^^
5) xiangli - good kid thats all in a good sense^^ - too bad for you no beard though
6) shorekeeper - like a cute little puppy :)

38:49 You're in luck cause if you want to play as XLY (Xiangli Yao), his best team is with Yinlin AND Shorekeeper while Changli and Jinhsi are great with Zhezhi (so either Changli or Jinhsi should be paired with Zhezhi for the team).
39:31 The trailers are great, my favorites so far are Yinlin, Changli, and Shorekeeper. From Yinlin to Shorekeeper, the only one I don't have is Jinhsi (I'm still salty about it, I lost 50/50) so I can confidently say that they are SUPER FUN to play as, ESPECIALLY the Changli/Zhezhi combo.

Wuwa lost lot of players during debut patch cause they fumbled so hard but since then they have continuously improved in every way, the story, the voice acting, technical issue everything. I do hope they go back to 1.0 and fix it because first impression is everything.
