To save space, I use disposable shower caps to cover my shoes. I fit my shoes in between packing cubes. I carry extras in my suitcase because they aren't very sturdy, but for $10 you get 100!
Lol I figured that out after filming, I think I am used to the trolly strap being wider and also, I never do carry on only, so I am never putting it on my luggage.
I went to Italy in the summer last year. It was hot and sticky. I kept it in my purse and boy was I glad. I was able to get it and use it when I saw I was going to need it. It worked so good. Love this product. I used it when I was in Barcelona as well. While it wasn’t hot there on my visit. I for some reason had and issue with my arm rubbing against my shirt. So whipped it out and the issue was gone. You’ll be glad you have it. It works on your feet too.
Have subscribed! Like your style. My Lovevook backpack is AMAZING! I have a different setup but similar. It has lasted through many trips and regular use and still looks beautiful! I will be trying the rub stick and getting those hangers for sure! Thank you!
I have seen tons of the travel essentials videos and so happy to see you had a few different items that I hadn’t seen before and will be purchasing like the hangers, seat extenders and collapsible bottle! Thank you.
Very nice , the black band on the gray backpack is called a trolley strap. You put your luggage handle through it so you don't have to carry it in the airport.
I love those hangers. I have a dozen or so of them and I always bring them. Hotels or people's houses never have enough hangers so I always bring enough to hang whatever I'm bringing. When I start gathering the clothes I'm bringing, I swap the hangers for these in my 'staging area' because I decide on clothes several days before the trip so don't want to pack them yet so they don't wrinkle. Then when I pack, I know I have a hanger for each thing I need to hang up and pack the clothes and the hanger so I always know I have as many as I need, but don't tote extra. Those things are genius. HIGHLY recommend. Used them for years now.
The Body Glide works amazing! I took it to Disney World and I didn't have any rub burns/rashes at all - and we did a ton of walking. I think you'll love it, especially if you do any walking/hiking in Hawaii.
I use the glide on the balls of my feet because I'm really rough on socks. I haven't put any holes in socks in years since I started using it. One thing I will mention though - I used it on the tops of my feet where my flip flop straps were rubbing, and it worked great for that, however I did get sunburned on my feet at the beach right where my flip flop straps would have been even though I lathered on the sunscreen.
I wish the back zipper for the backpack was more blendable with the fabric. It's not quite a hidden pocket with a bold and big zipper like so. I don't carry laptops with me, so that portion of the bag I usually like putting travel documents there: itineraries, maps, train info, etc! and a scarf will always be able to fold nicely and flat...
I have a similar personal bag. If you look on the side where you'd put a water bottle, there is a slit to put wet wipes or tissues. So cool!! Look your videos!
I think some of these are genuinely awesome finds. But it’s clear some of them haven’t even been tested or tried out (like the shoes) so I’m confused why they’re being recommended. 🤷🏻♀️
A few items were new that I recently got, but I do call that out for people. They were still cool and useful finds that I wanted to share. I have had items that I was not impressed with and those get returned and definitely are not included in a video.
Loved 🥰 all of your gadgets. I’m a gadget person. I already placed an order in your Amazon. I believe I’m going to get of couple of things. Amazing 🤩 video. Loved 🥰 it.
Just wanted to say I bought the same hanging toiletries bag and it’s fantastic! I was concerned that the light pink would not last, but it still looks great after several trips 😊
Thanks for sharing!! I love the mini perfume bottles, they are awesome! My sponge was fine when I went to Hawaii but I could see how it would not dry out in severe humidity
I'm not sure I'm convinced on packing cubes and particularly when I see the ones that you showed here.. they are so small. What can you fit in that? Kids clothes? Not for a woman size oh 10-12. It just seems like more crap to pack.
Ava - packing cubes make a world of difference. I have the Heys obese and they are excellent. The really large ones great for dresses, pants, tops, etc. It’s like having drawers in your suitcase.
Great suggestions, I will absolutely be buying that neck fan!!! Just commenting to tell you that your sewing kit is TSA compliant! I had to look up the rules on scissors and needles last time I flew because I wanted to work on a small embroidery project as my on plane activity! I believe the blade part of the scissors just needs to be under 3 inches. And it definitely came in handy on the trip too!
Good to know! I didn't want to chance it trying to go through TSA with it lol. And the neck fan is a MUST! It was such a life saver in Hawaii on hot days!
my friend as the water shoes and uses them in our swim aerobics class. she loves them and they indeed DO dry quickly. How about reviewing swimsuits? i was very disappointed by miraclesuit. did not hold be at all like the last one i had, i think their quality has gone down. does anyone have suggestions?
Nice! I loved the water shoes when I used them in Hawaii! As for swim suits, these are so difficult to find ones that fit well and are good quality. Being Plus size, I tend to stick with Torrid or Lane Bryant. I have tried other brands and they were terrible.
Haha hotels always have hangers but never enough! Especially when multiple women are in the same room, that's why I bring the travel hangers on certain trips.
What do you use to pin the bag to the back of the seat? That's a good low budget alternative but since I already have my trusty phone clamp I'll continue to use that. Thanks for the tip though!
I think it’s so rude to play music out loud from a speaker in a public space. What you think are hits could be awful music to other people and stops them enjoying their time at the pool or beach. That man could’ve had headphones in if he was desperate for music
Well, you have to know your surroundings. We were at a party resort not some quite relaxing resort. So, a DJ was playing similar music not too far away too. This wasn't a place for peace and quiet.
To save space, I use disposable shower caps to cover my shoes. I fit my shoes in between packing cubes. I carry extras in my suitcase because they aren't very sturdy, but for $10 you get 100!
I have seen the shower cap hack before, such a great one!
You did a very nice job of walking through each piece. Full watch.
I have taken a sewing kit in my carry on bag. Nobody gave me problems, packed it in a easy place to grab.😊
Good to know! I didn't want to chance it lol
The first backpack that you showed the black strap on the back is to hold your backpack on your luggage handle.
Lol I figured that out after filming, I think I am used to the trolly strap being wider and also, I never do carry on only, so I am never putting it on my luggage.

I love my backpack, it's such a quality brand! Glada to hear that you love yours too!
Lady you are rocking it. Love the decor in the background.
Thank you so much!
I got one of those portable fans from Temu. They work for what you need them for. And I get hot flashes! LOL!
They do work well! I was pleasantly surprised
I have seen tons of the travel essentials videos and so happy to see you had a few different items that I hadn’t seen before and will be purchasing like the hangers, seat extenders and collapsible bottle! Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!
Have you ever had a review on the seatbelt extenders for airplanes?
I have not, I only have the Southwest extender. I works with most of their airplanes, but not in some of the newer ones.
The strap across the back of the backpack is for putting it over the handle of your carry-on suitcase. I absolutely LOVE my Loveook backpack!!!
I was clearly having a blonde moment lol! I love this backpack so much!
I love the travel hangers I got the bright coloured ones so I remember to pack them going home
Good idea! I absolutely love the travel hangers!
I never thought about refilling the thread in a sewing kit. Thanks for the tip!
Glad it was helpful!

I totally agree! They are one of my most favorite finds!
I have these water shoes. They do not dry quickly. Had to leave them out dice to dry. They do wash well. They are comfortable.
This video was very informative and helpful, I too am going to Hawaii at the end of March for a cruise and resort stay. Thanks 😊
Awesome and glad the video was helpful! Have fun in Hawaii, I am so excited to go!
Bike shorts to prevent chubb rub. I've tried all kinds of glides. Nothing works better than comfy bike shorts
I do love my shapewear shorts that I usually wear under dresses and skirts.
The Body Glide works amazing! I took it to Disney World and I didn't have any rub burns/rashes at all - and we did a ton of walking. I think you'll love it, especially if you do any walking/hiking in Hawaii.

i have that too. not too many complaints. i usually use it at disney as well

It does come in other colors, so maybe a different color has a more discreet zipper. I personally love the contrast of the fabric and hardware.
I have one of those neck fans and use it all summer long. When going to the zoo or arts festivals, etc. Using them on the plane also. It’s great.
It was a life saver in Hawaii!
Great videos !! What kind of office chair are you sing ? It looks comfortable !!
It's a gaming chair that we got from Amazon, but it's no longer available, but here is a similar one amzn.to/3N6FgUI
DearHeart!!! This is the ABSOLUTE BEST video I’ve viewed. Thank YOU!! NEW FAN! Now following you on IG! I have the travel mirror-love it!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! I love traveling and all the fun gadgets!
Have you tried any of the Travelon bags?
I have not, I will have to look into them!
@@ThickGirlzGuide I just recently got a couple of their bags. A crossbody and a backpack! Haven't traveled with them yet but they seem awesome so far
I have a similar personal bag. If you look on the side where you'd put a water bottle, there is a slit to put wet wipes or tissues. So cool!! Look your videos!
Ahhhh that's what the slit is for! I was wondering why it was designed that way...genius!

What a great list to consider !
Glad you think so!

Where did you get the clear Leppard Print Toiletry Bags? I don't see any of your items that you shared in the comments.
@@michellehumphries300the items are listed in the description box ☺️
We’re heading off to Turkey in a few weeks and I love your video ❤
Awesome! I am jealous, Turkey looks like it would be amazing, have a great time!
I recently just brought the tote/ duffle version of the first backpack in a similar color and I am in love with it cant wait to use mine as well
It's amazing! I love this bag!
Loved 🥰 all of your gadgets. I’m a gadget person. I already placed an order in your Amazon. I believe I’m going to get of couple of things. Amazing 🤩 video. Loved 🥰 it.
So glad you loved it and thank you for your support! I love me some travel gadgets, so these videos are so fun to make!
I love that toiletry bag. Totally have it!!
I absolutely love it!
Pretty cool gadgets❤
Thank you, glad it was helpful!
I just found your video. Love this list
Yay, thank you! Glad it was helpful!

Wonderful! I love it so much! It holds a ton and keeps everything organized.
Hope you do a packing video for Hawaii!
I will! I am planning to do several videos for my Hawaii trip
What is the name of the backpack?
I don’t remember the name of it but both of the links to the gray backpack and the hot pink ones are in the description box
please share the name of the chair you are sitting on, it looks comfortable.thank you :)
It's a gaming chair but is sold out on Amazon, but here is one that is very similar. amzn.to/45iA9cu
@@ThickGirlzGuide thank you so much for this !
THESE MAKEUP SPONGE HOLDERS WANT WORK IN OVER HUMIDITY I HAVE TRIED THEM ALREADY AND THE MINI SPRAYS FOR PERFUMES WORK AWSOME LOVELY
Thanks for sharing!! I love the mini perfume bottles, they are awesome! My sponge was fine when I went to Hawaii but I could see how it would not dry out in severe humidity
FYI You mentioned packing cubes look @ Erin Condren. She has a larger set on her website.
I will have to check it out!
Are the air pods comfortable in long haul flights?
Yes they are, I have never found them to be uncomfortable.
Plz do a tutorial on your up-do.
Maybe I will try to throw it into a video soon!
I'm not sure I'm convinced on packing cubes and particularly when I see the ones that you showed here.. they are so small. What can you fit in that? Kids clothes? Not for a woman size oh 10-12. It just seems like more crap to pack.
You can fit more than expected in them and I love the compression aspect of them. Now regular packing cubes? I'll pass on those fore sure.
Ava - packing cubes make a world of difference. I have the Heys obese and they are excellent. The really large ones great for dresses, pants, tops, etc. It’s like having drawers in your suitcase.
@@ThickGirlzGuideI have the regular packing cubes and love them

I like my back pack also
Awesome!
That strap on the back of the backpack is a trolley strap, NOT to hang things off of it. Too funny
LMAO! Clearly I only wear the backpack through the airport and don't try to put it on any kind of rolling luggage...haha blonde moment!
I hope that I don't have the misfortune of going to a hotel that doesn't even have hangers?! Has this happened to you? Or is this overkill?
Haha hotels always have hangers but never enough! Especially when multiple women are in the same room, that's why I bring the travel hangers on certain trips.
You can just stick your phone in a ziplock and pin it to thr back of the seat, so you can watch movies on your phone
What do you use to pin the bag to the back of the seat? That's a good low budget alternative but since I already have my trusty phone clamp I'll continue to use that. Thanks for the tip though!
I have the phone clamp but not a big fan of it: perhaps useful for long flights. It’s bulky but not using a ziploc bag 😂
Not the weird music 😂
Hi my lovely wife 💋 ❤
I think it’s so rude to play music out loud from a speaker in a public space. What you think are hits could be awful music to other people and stops them enjoying their time at the pool or beach. That man could’ve had headphones in if he was desperate for music

So disorganized & disjointed - brand name of backpacks? so much movement, also on intro music. Dizzying. Sorry, not a fan.
Clearly my channel is not your cup of tea and that's fine with me. Have a great day.
