If he enter the turn and drift at the right time the car would angle and slide smoothly with out him having to control much of the steering.
So much graphical details have been put into the cars you're driving in and i check the environment (bushes & trees mostly) and it instantly makes me feel i'm playing the very first Need for Speed.

Try more methods of inducing overseer, like clutch kicks and bodyweight changes, if you're completely set on the handbrake get a dedicated handbrake for you setup, it'll make you feel like a god😂
The only thing you could have which ads to the atmosphere, is VR. Just that VR has horrible graphics compared to the actual game. Forza Horizon 4 is coming as well.
