Anyone else actually a little mad at how Tyler never heals up after combat?
I am. It’s a bit frustrating to watch. Also, leading groups of mobs into rooms that haven’t been cleared yet only to gather more mobs. Thats how you get overwhelmed. But, I’m not the one playing the game or making the videos, so there’s that.
His elixir syndrome is massively real… which really hurts you in this game lol
Well, I don't know if you know him, but I watch GoodTimesWithScar playing Minecraft, so nothing can phase me, anymore 💪
The ending death was massively avoidable, he could have funnelled groups of mobs into the corridor he dug out, instead he charged into middle of the room allowing himself to be surrounded. Definitely feel like he is rage baiting. I was enjoying watching this series until this moment. Now... Meh

Everyone's feedback helped a lot with our 0.1.1 bugfix update, we addressed a lot of combat issues and general bugs that made things a little quirked up on initial release. Hope y'all are looking forward to the Christmas patch ❤.

Adding more dynamic mechanics and events will make game not that boring after several hours. Right now it feels too repetitive and “same” each run. There’s nothing that creates engagement, especially at the start of new run.
The quest ores only spawn when you take the quest to mine them
That only applies for certain types of quest ores mind you, but yes, for the no use but quest ores they are only on when you select those, and a lot more can spawn in which can lead to some dang good profit and such

Tip: make the lead mining helmet, the permanent boost to light is far more helpful than people realize at first

The superior potato is a sort called "asparagus potato" (at least here in Denmark). It's a bit more firm than your "normal" white potato and has a more nut-like taste. Even beats sweet potatoes.
the ores do not spawn unless you select their ore quest.

My usual tactic in this game is to clear a good empty square around spawn, the to make a grid of paths to reveal the entire map. After that and during it i carefully take out enemies until the spawn in ones are gone and its just the respawn groups left. Then, and during i collect all plants and stuff, and after that i tend to mine out remaining blocks to check for secrets, leaving only after i have fully cleared the map and have my fully filled and maxed value grab inventory. At base i keep a couple stacks of most items.
A couple bad Thanksgiving takes aside, good gameplay
Ive been binge watching your channel and i have to say, I love your content! Ur inflection of words somewhat reminds me of Northernlion which is what drew me in (that along with the rougelikes), either way, keep up the good work and I cant wait to watch this video! My (lukewarm) Thanksgiving takes:
1. Turkey is okay -- it's great fresh roasted the day of. It is acceptable as turkey sandwiches afterwards. Other than that, leftover turkey is like D-tier meat.
2. Mashed potatoes and gravy come down entirely to the quality of both- you need a good homemade dripping-based gravy and potatoes with far too much butter and salt in order for them to be great.
3. Sweet potatoes are an abomination.
4. Stuffing is good only if it has sausage in it, or if it's a cornbread-based stuffing. Bread-based stuffing with no meat is pretty useless.
5. Cranberry sauce is good both berried and jellied, but you MUST maintain can ridges if using jellied.
6. Apple and pecan pie are the standards for me. I do not like pumpkin pie, but will occasionally eat a slice if it's very cold and served with tons of whipped cream.
Dressing/Stuffing is my favorite. I pretty much only have it once a year and always love it. Some is good, some is great, its all good fun!

is to get an axe for the multi-hit and always be kiting them backward to avoid taking damage.
The current strategy is to get bodied in the corner by them.
@@JMD501 The way to avoid that is to never walk into someplace without a safe route to walk out of it.
The ore quests generate random ore veins in the cave. These ores are just quest based. They don't spawn otherwise

I have NEVER heard of anyone having ham for easter. Eggs are for easter lmao. Ham is for christmas & is a good thanksgiving substitute.

Stuffing isn't vegetation by default, because by default it's made with turkey stock

Hey Tyler, if you mine the stones on the floor i think there is a good amount of tin ( or iron not sure ) and if you use a torch against the enemies it applies burn which ticks ( maybe until they are dead ) for 5 damage very often ( maybe less or close to a second). Great videos btw 🙂
I love mash potatoes but I hate gravey lol, and I also eat ham over turkey because it's not as dry and is sweeter. But to each there own I just use holidays as a excuse to eat alot

Sorry for the backseat gaming but i feel like opening the chests instead of breaking them gives better loot, at least it looked that way because the two chests you opened last appeared to drop more than the others during the run, might have been a coincidence though :)

Stuffing (on the side, it's gross if it's actually stuffed in the turkey) is the best food in Thanksgiving, I don't even like celery and I eat that stuff up like it's my last meal. And for the record the worst Thanksgiving dish is candied yams

people don't like turkey because you have to know how to make it, I have had some really good turkey but also some really bad turkey completely based on the cooking methods used.

If your mashed potatoes are blah, the issue isn't the potatoes. Add more butter. No, more than that. And then double it. Some roasted garlic, or garlic powder. Cream, or sour cream. There you go. Maybe a bit more butter.

Turkey is OK, if prepared right. People tend to screw it up and have this nasty-ass drier than the Atacama Desert bird.
My brother-in-law is some sort of culinary magician and makes god tier turkey, moist with a hint of sweetness.

minecraft, terraria, forager, any survival game ever? i do think its a bit limiting but the worst choice???

Id think a game like this should encourage exploration, sth completely undermined by the tiny amount of stuff you can take with you.
In Minecraft when you find too much stuff you can build a house and store it.
In this game you have to basically stop playing and start again later.

@@saggitaril4044 fair but also, the intention seems to be to go in and out, having a limited inventory makes for more concise gameplay and makes you pick what you take back, if the player had a massive inventory they take start to lose their value, it also limits the player from grinding in a single cave til they get tens of stacks, its more resource management then survival, MB on the word choice. i do think there should be more space in your bag, or some way of expanding it. i don't disagree with it being limiting tho i completely get where ur coming from.

Bro has obviously never had garlic mashed potatoes. Also, turkey doesn't absorb gravy like Taters do. Turkey is very often way too dry(it's a tough bird to cook for a lot of people). Most overrated thanksgiving food is stuffing
