im always a big fan of photography especially out in nature. these videos inspire me to go on my day trips to reconnect with nature and make art. keep going with this!
What a beautiful tree I see an elephant in the one angle. Drawing turned out great. Looks like a lovely trip. Me and the children do that all the time. I'll ask what do we want to find today and the randomness they throw out is hilarious and fun to try to create that in out trips.
thank you!! omg thats so sweet🥹 it must be so fun to play out trips through the lens of childlike imagination, definitely exploring on my own feels the closest I can get to that in recent years🌱
@@leechuts it's quite fun and great imagination exercise for me. It started out when we were evacuated from wildfire and wanting to make things less stressful for them. But since then I thinks it helps show them anything is possible and don't limit yourself to what others tell you is possible. Plus makes this memories money can't buy.
hanging flowers from my ceiling while watching this. i was originally gunna work on an art design which is what i usually do while your vids are playing. rooting for ya 🤍
I've been watching your videos for like a few months now and never thought to comment for some reason! Love ur videos vibes and how down to earth and chill they feel!
Loved the video, really inspiring I always carry art stuff around with me when I go out on adventures but always tend to find I start indoors and before I know it I am outside painting instead and I feel less nervous and less like I’m being watched 😂💕💕 lovely sketches 💕💕
thank you!! I agree - outdoor doodling feels much more free & open🌱 I love when I can find a nice park bench to just sit and creep with my sunglasses on lol😎
okay no way.. ive been binging your videos for the last 2 days .. i knew you were canadian but now just finding out in the same province as me.. so cool!!!!
This week's vid is A VIIIIBBBEEE! What a great intro, scenery, and text animation. Also, the section outside with the flower mic reminded of the pros and cons of going to art school vid from like 3 years ago. As always you're the .
Really in love with the scenery and the cafe hoping. If you don't mind to share some tips on travel alone and backpack items that you carry while traveling. Cheers 🫰
@@naywandermuse thank you!! this was just a lil daytrip so I packed pretty light, in terms of art stuff I like really restricting the number and variety of supplies I bring - I usually choose a vibe of like 1 linework tool plus a few colouring tools so that I have less decision making to do while I'm actually out and drawing (typically its like pencil + a few highlighters, or maybe a pen + a mini watercolour kit with a portable waterholding brush - in this video i brought a ballpoint pen and some posca markers) hope this helps a lil!🫰
Fantastic. Loved it! Your photography is always beautiful. Your sketchbook pages rocked. Well done you. Maybe you have a little series in the making? x Nell.
Love the on the go sketching from real life (very ballsy as well 😎 as I already feel embarrassed drawing from a phone reference at an airport delay). Also a little question: why do cafes give you a plastic cup and cover etc when you “sit in” / no take away? Unnecessary single use plastic no? Just curious 👀
thank you!! I feel like doing it so regularly I’ve gotten used to it - the challenge now is doing it AND filming myself 🫣 & I’m not sure - I would prefer a glass if I’m sitting in but seems like lots of these little places operate as togo only, I would think just for convenience/maybe staff shortage for the dishwashing?
@@leechuts keep up the cool illo’s on the go! Love your work 🥰 and hope to see change that makes sense all places in Canada as well 😜. Plastic cups can easily be replaced by recycled paper cups and bio plastic “to go” and if the place is not big/ not busy with large crowds… washing a glass is very well possible (they do it everywhere here). Or just bring your own refillable 😉
Hi! I’m trying to settle a debate, as a fellow artist do you have a favorite color? I think most artists don’t have a specific favorite color especially as the season changes. I might love blue in the winter, but I love beiges and browns in the autumn. Let me know your take, Ik this is random just wanted to ask lol
LOL hmmm very interesting question - I think over the years my fav colour has changed, for a while I did claim to not have a fav but now I think I’ve settled on green in the right context - like I don’t really ever wear green but I love looking at green in nature or like my accessories all tend to be a tone of green (like my waterbottle & my phone case) but art-wise I def just use whatever I’m feeling or fits the vibe 8)
@@leechuts I’m in the “don’t have a favorite color” faze rn ig, but it makes sense since green is in pretty much every season, just in a different shade. Thanks for your input tho lmao
Going to cafes, hikes and travelling with sketch book . Drawing the expression of life .
