Im glad you do cause everybody and the mama have and build Harley's. Not everyone wants a Harley or own one. Basically what your doing is needed and appreciated.
I’m 30 years old and have never owned a bike or even rode on 1 but I’ve always wanted to. Was a mechanic in the military and prior to joining, was a mechanic for multiple car repair shops. Watching you do maintenance on these bikes have awaken this awesome feeling. Truly inspiring. Keep going and keep growing.
Definitely a valuable channel as a chief owner. You are the number one public figure for sure, and know more than anyone that is employed at a dealer or Polaris I’d bet!
That’s a goal. To know as much about this platform as possible. It gets boring to some people seeing the same bike each time but this leads to mastery.
I purchased an Indian chief dark horse bc of your videos bro. I never really wanted a Harley cuz everyone has one, I wanted something different and found your videos went out test rode a chief and it was absolutely amazing so glad I bought this bike keep up the work bro!!
I got to ride a Sport Chief today. It may have changed my opinion on the platform. I didn’t have a camera with me to record it…. Rookie mistake. But it was a nice ride.
Thanks Brotha! My time is coming. I'm glad it didn't come too early as I wouldn't have been able to keep the momentum. I think the recipe is cooking now.
Of all the "Indian friendly" channels, yours is the only one i still subscribe to. I almost went from my custom (bolt on performance mods, fuel mgmt, lowered, blacked out, and set up for light touring) Kawasaki Mean to the chief, solely because of you. Had my truck not died, and me having to replace it, right after some blind driver hit my car while cutting across a parking lot and running, I'd have one today. Now, having decided to rebuild and paint my 300zx and get it back on the, I have to wait a while, but lemme tell you, your channel keeps my flame alive, and though I have to wait my for time I enjoy Indians, vicariously through you. Keep up the good work, Brandon, you're an inspiration.
My mindset that drew me to Indian was it’s different as well. Since I bought my Dark Horse I’ve owned a Scout and an FTR. Love all of them. Still a HD fan but these Indians are amazing bikes.
crazy how far we've come in this channel. you really went above and beyond for the chief community, thanks brother. I find it most interesting that you and I and probably hundreds others developed this unique love for the chief, all around the same time, and now we're 2 years since then, cheers! so many miles later and the feeling is still there, unfaded, stronger if anything. I picked up a pair of socks as a small contribution to you and what you do for us, and i wear it on my weekly ride to remind me of everything aforementioned. it's been an awesome journey with so much growth and I'm glad to have found you and our little community of chief enthusiasts :)
I can DEFINITELY relate to everything you’re saying👍 I’m really glad to see that I’m not the only one who truly appreciates Brandon, not just for the videos but for him being a truly genuine person.
Loved your video. Thank you for supporting the brand that many of us love and ride. Keep up the great work! The reason that I bought an Indian motorcycle over an HD was because not everyone has one.
Marching to the beat of your own drum! Love it.... Yes HD is all over the place. However you are pioneering the way to fix Indians via TH-cam! Keep it up!
I love the videos! I currently own a harley 48, and i love it. Indian will be my next bike. I love the chiefs! You keep doing what you want to do, regardless of what anyone says. You do great work man!
When you said the Chief had you in a chokehold that resonates hard man lol. I test rode a sport chief about a month ago and I absolutely love the bike. The numbers didn't look good to me at the dealership that day so I passed on buying it, but no doubt one day I will own a chief because it's got me in a sort of chokehold too. In the meantime I'll keep riding my Triumph Speedmaster, the biggest reason I didn't walk away with a Chief that day lol. They offered too little for my trade in and I'd have felt sick trading in my speedy for less than what she's worth. Love the content bro, you're a real inspiration for learning how to do things yourself
Great respect for you Mr. Bicasso. Finally getting some sunshine over here in Montana. And just like that the "potholes" are back. :) Keep doing what you are doing.
I'm 72 , have 2018 Chief Vintage , FTR 1200 Indian , FE 350 S Husqvarna , and CRF 250 L Rally Honda and love riding each and every one of them in their own element . I Love bikes. Thanks for your channel .
Only thing I’ll say as a new bike enthusiast, put the pics in the edit when you bring up names and models. You do it when you talk about previous owned bikes, ima stay like and subscribe love to see brothers build 💪🏽 keep it going!!!
Honestly no one is doing it , it’s an amazing experience to be with you on the journey to fix them up ! Also seeing the excellent build quality on the engines has been an eye opener for sure.
Keep that passion alive, feed your craft into your bikes soul. Dismantling and trying to put together a motorcycle has its own 7 stages, once everything makes sense its like, you've put apiece of your soul into your bike.
Subscribed, watching from Australia, enjoying what you do, hard to fight the two wheel addiction. Current Victory rider, X a whole lot of other brands.
Having owned several Harleys over the years I can see the appeal of the Victory and Indian brand. Cool content, appreciate the effort and will be following. Saludos desde Nicaragua
Dude… I agree with your outlook. I myself am bringing early 60s mopars back to life. Stick with your program, you are going to be wealthy and irreplaceable. Love your stuff.
Thanks for what you are doing it's a welcome and refreshing change to the scene can't watch the whole harley anymore! I'm happy about every video about the Indian.
You have the gift that most people who own motorcycles don't have. Back in the day (50+ years ago) you had to be a pretty decent mechanic if you owned a Harley because they were NOT reliable and always needed something fixed. These days, many Harley owners pay someone to do even basic maintenance like oil changes. The Bikers of old are mostly gone now. So it puts a smile on my tired old face to see a young guy digging into a motorcycle's innerds and seeking to really understand how they work. You, sir, are a true Biker whether or not you are living the lifestyle. Ride on!
Just came across this channel, like and ride all kinds of bikes but have been mostly a HD rider for decades. I thought about getting an Indian but know very little about them, so you really have my interest young man. Oh yes, I'm subscribed......
Thanks for dropping in. I will get another Harley for sure. These bikes just gave me that entry into a different world I'd been looking for. It's all just getting started.
Appreciate your undertaking. My father was a factory flat track racer for Indian and later Harley. I grew up with a TT 450 as a child and parts were no longer available. Later I bought and old Honda 160 dream from the junkyard for $15 and began to cobble together my first motorcycle, throw in a Suzuki scrambler and you have a frankenbike😂. So, my 1st was indian/Honda/Suzuki and I made it work. I am so glad Indian is back and there's someone keeping the dream alive.
My first bike was a 97 sportster 883 and i fell in love, i have a Nightster 1200 now, i just love how Harley sounds, smells but i did ride an Indian last weekend and it was so awesome. I might be buying one.
Brandon, you have been super inspirational.....Right now, as I am watching your video, I have taken off my RCX custom exhaust off of my Bobber, and repainting them a deeper black to more match my shiny black bike..... Im a smaller guy,5'6" and dont want a bigger bike. Plus this one has PLENTY of power!
Super cool! That will be interesting to see. Def send some pics over on Insta. The powder coating on my exhaust didn't hold up but luckily I was getting a custom one made anyway.
@@BrandonBicasso definitely not doing well......i did a "light" sanding first and tried 2 flat black metal -high heat enamels...Krylon and Rust Oleum.......neither are sticking but the Krylon at least goes on evenly. the RCX pipes are not very expensive...$375...save some sanity and stress...may just purchase a new set but for now.....acetone and starting over.....
Ok…… so here is where we are…… I used acetone to take off first try of paint. I then used a slightly heavier grain sand paper to scrape.I applied more flat black Rust Oleum spray paint using a more “dragging motion than a direct spray which seemed to make a more even coating( I saw someone doing this in a video). There were still a FEW spots where it ran where I must have been a bit heavy handed but I intend to just buff those out tomorrow and touch up the spots. Hopefully that will be it and I can put the pipes back on my bike. As a note…. I bought my RCX 3” slip-ons from West End Customs on the east coast. The pipes were advertised as “black” but were more of a dark slate…. They looked nice but I wanted BLACK…. When I figure how to send a photo to you, or a few, I will. As I said to you in other notes, I love my Bobber. Just want to really make it my own. My only true gripe with it WAS the seat and the gas tank could be bigger but oh well……
I'm down with you the long way. Dare to be different bro 🤜🤛

It seems like some Americans almost feel "offended" that you're going "against the grain" by building Indians and not Harleys and never consider that maybe, just maybe, in the same fashion that Harley was a staple for older generations, that Indian is the staple for the current and maybe future ones.
Man i wanted a chieftain so bad, but i couldnt find one i wanted. I couldnt justify spending 30k on a bike to get one new. Ended up having to get a street glide. I cant wait til there are more floating around the used market.
Thats funny, I just picked up 14 SG, been on HD's forever I still ride my Shovel bought new in 81 going on its 3rd motor. Also ride a street triple and DR650, wanted one last bike for two up, getting older and the Shovel beats me & wife up for long distances anymore. So, had my eye on the Indian Challenger but could not justify the cost of a new bike. I went for me the tried and trued which was another harley because that is what I've been riding for years and thats what I know how to work on.
I enjoyed this video mate, doing something different is good to see, all my friends ride Harleys, I'm the odd ball with my triumph thunderbird storm, wouldn't have it any other way
Much love Brandon. I have the same view about it as you. Dare to be different. Keep doing what you're doing man! So much appreciation for you and your channel 😎
My Harley riding friends hate my Chief Vintage! We would be at the local coffee shop and people will come up to me and rave about how nice my bike is.Old couples will look at it and remember when they were young.People always ask if they can take pictures all the while I can see the steam rising from my Harley buddies heads! You are right about being different I have never been a follower.I have owned many Harleys down through the years so I know what the are about.I am 71 years old so the Chief Vintage will most likely be my last one.....I think...
Great video. I am currently looking at the Indian Challenger. I have owned several Harleys and still have my Harley Night Rod Special. I have always liked the technology that Indian build into their bikes and feel like they build a quality product.
Welcome to the wonderful world of purchasing more tools every week! Buy the cheapest decent quality box that you can and fill it with the best tools that money can buy. You're doing a great job. I find your videos very interesting. Every brand is more similar to the other than we think. They all need help now and then. A Victory Owner
Very true. I got some interesting Victory content coming in a little while. Filming it today so should be a hoot to watch. I've been stacking tools for awhile and I think I finally have a good set to do a lot.
I have a sportster 883 but I want something bigger now and more comfortable for longer trips. I like water cooling and I think I want an over square engine this time or at least a even square. I road my sisters road glide and its nice but I felt like I was riding a living room down the highway. I didnt feel any feedback from the road and all my senses felt muted. It just felt really big and heavy and vague. I felt like I was piloting the starship enterprise.
I like the Indian motorcycles 1,000 times better than anything ever made by Harley, it’s great to see someone building an Indian. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you in your endeavors 👍
Go Brandon! I also got the bug a few years back... bought new Indians, and started rebuilding them as well. 35 Indian heavyweights in our shop now... look out it is definitely a Love affair. My wife said so!
@@BrandonBicasso I also looked at the old Indians in 2015 awhile until comparing pricing and saw that Polaris had revived the brand. I have come to really appreciate the new technology and performance built into the new ones. Keep up the good work!
Hey Brandon, Great channel! I have always liked Indians! Great looking and classic Americana. I really like your style builds too. I guess the kids call it a street fighter? I don't even know if that's a thing any more. I'm a Triumph guy myself. I get the same questions why not Harley.
Looked at a Fat Bob before I bought my Scout Bobber. I thought it was a better deal. However, the scout bobber had some drawbacks, and I ended up with a Street Glide Special. I want a Challenger and or a Chieftain.
I almost bought the Scout bobber, I torn between that and Scout Icon with a 2 into 1 Freedom exhaust pipe , so I went the Loud routes and 1 in more shock travel than bobber, the Scout Icon will never be a bobber but it’s still a Scout that can scat 😄!
Love your content! You are truly inspiring and I’m loving this series. Keep doing you and we’ll keep watching I assure you. Can’t wait for the next one!
Great content! I've always enjoyed your outlook on motorcycles. What part of Alabama are you in? Im riding down to Tuscaloosa in a few weeks, would love to meet you in person! Keep of the good work!
That's awesome bro. I can agree with you on this. My Indian content does not do as well as my Harley content, and I think that's because Harley takes up all the oxygen in the room.
I am glad you do. My Dad and Mom rode an Indian Cheif after the war was over, it cost less than a four door Chevy, Dad just could not afford the car, it was the first American bike, period. They are damn cool bikes.
I love my victory, which is Indian to me now.... but prices for parts is crazy and parts are cheaper made and break easier if you make any mistake on road or in shop...
The Indian motors are Pro-Star motors ....... in house some of the best motors built. Powerful, reliable and proven. Great video !!!!! I own a 2022 BMW GSA, but if I ever calm down, Indian is where I am going. Great bikes !!!!! 🙂
Cool seeing your enthusiasm for these bikes. I actually worked on the original campaign when Polaris initially bought Indian and was re-introducing the brand ( my nda is long expired now). I was the on site mechanic during the filming of the commercials for the launch of the new Chief and Scout when the very first Polaris owned Indians were released. It was wild because all of the bikes were prototypes and there were no parts available. Literally when a part broke (say a brake lever) we had to frantically call head quarters and they would rush and machine a new part for me. The amount of power those bikes had absolutely slaughtered any Harley . I believe it’s why Harley started building the super crazy big inch bikes for regular sale. Anyway, during the filming we had a ‘36 Indian Chief to ride side by side with the new one. I still have all the little parts that came off those bikes. Things were actually glued on like the Chiefs head on the side of the engine case. The Chiefs head handlebar end caps… Really cool seeing someone have the same passion for these bikes as myself. Keep on man. Great content!
As a Victory owner, I still contend that both Victory and Indian could've easily coexisted together under Polaris. Each brand has its own uniqueness. Polaris screwed up IMO.
@@derek17005 agreed. The Indian side of the house could have been the “heritage” side. The more historic, vintage like bikes. Victory, the hot rodded cruiser that was actually affordable. Victory at its prime, had some sweet bikes that could contend with the boutique cruisers like big dog and the like. I agree, they screwed up discontinuing Victory.
I understand, but what is wrong with valence fenders ??? I bought my 2019 Roadmaster Elite because it didn't look like an H-D, didn't perform like an H-D or do anything like an H-D ! I bought it because it could never be confused with a Harley ! Unlike the new models, which to me looks a LOT like Harleys .
Im glad you do cause everybody and the mama have and build Harley's. Not everyone wants a Harley or own one. Basically what your doing is needed and appreciated.

you do you. your gonna have a future with that company.
Right on man!!!
Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you in your endeavors 👍
thats have big LIE, all owners say indian have alltime broken and factory warrranty not working newer, expensive trash.
Love your Drive and Ideas Great Video
Go Brandon! I also got the bug a few years back... bought new Indians, and started rebuilding them as well. 35 Indian heavyweights in our shop now... look out it is definitely a Love affair. My wife said so!
Hella cool. I’ve only seen a few older Indians in person before at Barbers. Didn’t think I’d be working on newer ones 😅
@@BrandonBicasso I also looked at the old Indians in 2015 awhile until comparing pricing and saw that Polaris had revived the brand. I have come to really appreciate the new technology and performance built into the new ones. Keep up the good work!
Awesome both Iconic!!!!!!
Good stuff bro, im 63 and harley through and through but the Indian is a nice bike, not too many here in the UK , take it easy
Watching from north wales uk 🏴🏴🏴keep up the good work🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍👍👌
I almost bought the Scout bobber, I torn between that and Scout Icon with a 2 into 1 Freedom exhaust pipe , so I went the Loud routes and 1 in more shock travel than bobber, the Scout Icon will never be a bobber but it’s still a Scout that can scat 😄!
They all got some Scoot! Ride on Fam.
Please keep it up, Sir. Ever think about a 70s-style Scout or Chief Chopper? Raked out front forks, etc.?
Nothing is off the table but I do need more experience first. We will see.
Love your content! You are truly inspiring and I’m loving this series. Keep doing you and we’ll keep watching I assure you. Can’t wait for the next one!
You are filling a need. There are Harley mechanics growing on trees. It's hard to find an Indian mechanic with passion.
Great content! I've always enjoyed your outlook on motorcycles. What part of Alabama are you in? Im riding down to Tuscaloosa in a few weeks, would love to meet you in person!
Keep of the good work!
Nice video. Wife and I enjoyed.
I've had my judge apart numerous times. You get an intimate relationship with your bike doing your own work.
Agreed! I meant Gunner but close enough!
The simple answer is, Harleys are cool, but Indians are cooler.
I love your passion. Nice video
I own a Victory....no more Harley for me..
That's awesome bro. I can agree with you on this. My Indian content does not do as well as my Harley content, and I think that's because Harley takes up all the oxygen in the room.
Exact same reason I bought a Indian Chief darkhorse. Tired of going to bike nights just to see nothing but Harley’s
Felt that.

I am glad you do. My Dad and Mom rode an Indian Cheif after the war was over, it cost less than a four door Chevy, Dad just could not afford the car, it was the first American bike, period. They are damn cool bikes.
Now look how much they cost. 🥴
The thing I personally like the most about Indians are the valanced fenders. Such a rare aesthetics on modern bikes.
2018 Indian Chieftain bought off showroom floor... in 2017.
cool dude witha great attitude
The Chiefs head handlebar end caps…
Really cool seeing someone have the same passion for these bikes as myself.
Nothing is wrong with valence fenders. They aren’t my aesthetic. That’s all.
