This video is my favorite video on your channel. It was hard to choose between the Bosch D7024 video, as that was my first panel. This video inspired me to get a vertical Wheelock AS a year back and that is why it is my favorite.

I’m guessing the newer as on the left is branded by Bosch
My school had those before they upgraded to the L-Series Speaker/Strobes.
You forgot to mention another difference, the horizontal mount has a bolder fire lettering than the vertical

Also known as a First-gen Wheelock AS because the first-gen has a vertical strobe. FostedStrobes had one.
a part of my school has those alarms, vertical ones it the hallways and horizontal ones in the rooms. In the main part, it has some older wheelock alarms that look like a 7002t on a strobe plate. The newer parts have NS and ZNS. The 8th grade portion of the school have spectralert advanced ceiling mounts. Imagine what a drill would sound like!
The croaking and cracking of the 7002ts, the EEEEEEEEEEEEE of the AS, the screech of the NS, the Normalness of the ZNS, the advances, ugh….
The "older wheelock alarms that look like a 7002t on a strobe plate" are probably 7001T's or V7001T's.
