Hey S.E.R. Safety Thank you for adding another one of these System IM SO GLAD YOU SAW MY REQUEST ON THE KIDDE SYSTEM TEST YOU ARE THE STILL THE BEST I WATCH YOUR OLD VIDEOS
Wow! Seeing how loud the spectralert advanced is makes my glad that my high school advanced/L series alarms aren't horn strobes. They are all speaker strobes (mostly ceiling mount but there are some wall mount with the L series alarms being newer installs)and before anyone asks. No there's no voice evac. The amplifier controlling the speakers is set to code 3
Very nice test! I used to stay at a hotel with my family and the place mostly has SpectrAlert Classics with one Advance in the pool area all paired with first gen BG-12’s.
The advanced is one we have in school and it’s so loud when a drill start after the first ring they have to silence it immediately since the rooms are a little small
Yeah that's very weird how the Advance started up before the Classic and that the Clsssic did a different startup tone where it had a skip in-between it's 1st pulse instead of normally when it does a first pulse with the brief pause before into its regular code-3 sound and that the Classic starts up before the Advance
We have the system sensor spectral alerts at my middle school. I'm pretty sure when we do our first real fire drill it's going to be loud, and I mean very loud
Do you have any tips on how to be successful for someone who is going into the fire service? I am currently attending a Fire and EMS first in training and education program in the state of Washington. Once I started this class I felt that this was my calling in life. I noticed your a part of your Bunker Gear and wanted to know if there is anything that would help me in my school. Thank you so much! Also really good quality video!
Yeah, the SpectrAlert classic is what my school had. I remember being terrified of fire drills because of how loud it was! Weirdly enough, I was fine once it was going, but that initial moment and the anticipation of it is what got me. My mom was a teacher at that school, so she always knew when a drill was coming up, and would tell me thinking that knowing about it beforehand would help. I think that actually made it worse, honestly lol
ser safety you are a good person i love your videos ! i have a fire alarm system in my room a simplex true alert and a monaco entrprizes pull station and i am Just a kid!
hey s.e.r safety (grant) if you don’t mind me asking does the strobe on the spectra alert system sensor PC2W (pretty much any fire alarm with a strobe light) can stay on continuous like an actual emergency light? or can it only flash so fast?
It can only flash. Xenon strobes aren't meant to stay on compared to Xenon headlights. Having them on continuously will easily burnout the strobe and may even start a fire.
When system sensor released the SpectrAlert Classic series in 1997, they didn’t just have a wall mount version, they also came In a ceiling mount version, but only fixed candela the ceiling mount SpectrAlert classic never came in multi candela and the SpectrAlert Classic series never came in a weatherproof model
Not sure if you know this, but on the ANN-80, you can actually disable the key lock through the panel settings, this makes it so you won’t need the key to use the buttons, you can also disable certain things like the piezo, different buttons and more, just saying that for future use in case you somehow lose all your fire lite keys or don’t feel like looking for it

I believe my fire alarms at my school are SpectreAlerts but they are a ceiling mount version, which I have found to be louder.
We have the system sensor spectral alerts at my middle school. I'm pretty sure when we do our first real fire drill it's going to be loud, and I mean very loud
Cool video!

I love these system tests
I had a first gen spectra alert p2r and I put it on high volume continuous and activated it outside my house
Do you have any tips on how to be successful for someone who is going into the fire service?

I lost my agent fire alarm :(
Awesome Test!!!
You should do System sensor Spectralert Advance vs L-series
And a very good job testing them
Is my favorite SCR safety
System Sensor SCR Safety
Can you please demonstrate the firecom 8500?
@SERSafety Where did you get that blue pull station? I want to buy one that that
Someone in my comments in my recent short called a Simplex pull station and a Wheelock ZNS a door opener and said they weren't fire alarms. Smh.
Smoke saber?
Do ann 80 annunciator’s work on addressable and convention panels?
Hello, I have a question concerning the panel. Do you need a special power supply for your panels?
Neat! (and loud)
Hey S.E.R saftey, cant you make a Behind The Scenes next system test? It whould be so cool :D
Ser safety i have those in ebby halliday elementary school

The Spectralert Classic did have a wall mount weather-rated version. I've seen one before, a P241575K to be specific.
@@brandonrawson4244 really?
@MatthewKelley1206 yes, I've seen them a few times. I'll post a picture the next time I see one.
You should put a spectralert advance and a spectralert l series next to each other and see what that sounds like.
Nice fire alarms
S.E.R safety you should make a school test video
I have advance and fire bell.
It saonds like a school with advance fire alarm (Ss.)
Do you have any alarms with the dutch slow whoop?
Ugh why was TROBLE FLASHING WHEN YOU WERE DISABLING IT TO TEST THE BR3AK ROD???????
That top left fire alarm was my first alarm
Puedes regalar todas esas soy tu fan😊😊
Good quality!
The first time I heard those fire alarms I literally thought the world was ending. Turns out it was just a fire drill 😅
Yeah, I had spectralert advances at my preschool, they were really loud.
Nice I would prefer this
I always wanted to collect pull stations (so I can fidget with them)
Nice camrea quality
I idea you system test 24 with the ADT Unimode 10UD Panel Which Is Wheelock & Simplex
So for notifications will be 2901-9838 On The Strobe Plate
And For The Wheelock Alarm Will Be The Wheelock 7002T-24 Horn Strobe
And for pull stations you should do Both T-Bar Alarms So The Pull Station On the Left The Simplex 2099-9754
And On The Right For The Pull Station Is A T-Bar Pull Station With The Lift Part Where You Lift Then Pulp
And you should do the duct detector key switch and the fire drill switch
The duct detector looks like an Apollo XP95 discovery/series 65
That's what my school fire alarm sounds like
How does system sensor sync mode work?
We’re do you get the pull stions
when they were testing the fire alarms since it was very old, it was four years old like don't know how old 1:27
Nice camera
What camera are you using?
It's a Cannon R5
My favorite!
Nice i like fire alarms rely naive
I got a suggestion for the next system test for what the panel should say: no fire there are. (Yoda reference)@
S E R a an you test this fire alarm for the next video ? It’s called Wheelock E90-24MCC-FW 2-Wire Speaker Strobe it’s a ceiling mount
It sounds like my school all devices escpt simplex pull station and agent oh and th bg light 12xr it’s notifire
Quiero que me regales todas esas❤❤🎉🎉😂😂😅😅😊😊

You should test a school fire alarm
Right now
I saw one of the fire Alarms at a store
Honeywell, Simplex pull station Alarms
I have a system test too and the only alarm me have is smoke alarm
Exepet the alert drill one. MY DRAMA.
It’s mighty quiet here
Para!
