Nice one! My high school had EST 270-SPOs (some of them with stopper protection covers) and EST integrity speaker strobes. I don’t know what the panel was, but my high school was established in 1997, so I’m guessing EST3.
I wanna see an all Gentex speaker strobes with an Alert Gentex speaker strobe and a Fire Gentex strobe on an Expander plate for the next 9200UDLS test.
Fun fact about the 270-SPO: In all the areas of my school except for the back hall, the pull stations are these, however they're labeled "LOCAL ALARM".
@@owenweber5527 congrats, your school has a modern system. Ours is a similar story except it's BG-12LS pull stations and Gentex Commander 3s on, you guessed it, mechanical horn mode.
were do you get your stuff i am trying to get into this i am disabled and have nothing to do i like alarms and i have limit amounts of money were would you recomend i get a starter system with an alarm and a controller with battery backup just something basic and fucntional to start

I really messed up with my Edwards alarms. I had a board to put them on, and I made the hole for the 278-SIGA to go in the middle, and on the right was the 270-SPO. Turns out the keyhole for the 278-SIGA is on the right. I can't put more holes in the board as it is starting to fall apart, so I really messed up.
You know as you do next time you should have 652 alarms and they should be controlled by one switch and then you should go in another room with them and they should control each fire alarm in six rooms that you have for these fire alarms thank you
So you don't make the same idiotic mistake that I did concerning Edwards' new LED Genesis alarms: If you order any of the new G4 series alarms (G4A, G4V, G4AV), you will have to order a mounting plate separately. By default, they don't come with mounting plates.

Gentex sync also seems to work on the genesises
