I don't think I have ever thanked you enough. Thank you for posting every day. I like watching channels who post every day. Thank you also for responding to so many of your comments. You must spend much of your off camera time putting together posts and responding to commenters. Thank you.
I think you have to cut, split and stack firewood yourself to find it soothing and relaxing watching a video of someone else, with no commentary or music, just splitting logs. A beautiful and therapeutic start to my day over my morning coffee!
Here in Northeast Florida and planning to do a little saltwater fishing this morning before it rains, but I have to do my coffee and In The Woodyard first! Morning Chris and Bert!
Hi Chris, that wood looks fine to me, a tiny wee bit of dirt just adds a little to the ash in the fire box. I got to say again its probably time to find a way to avoid throwing the wood. I did it for yrs and now my shoulders are both shot and it's stopped me doing all aspects of my firewooding. Cheers from HB NZ
We replaced our deck with ash framing and top. Milled up beautiful and 6 months of stickered air dry it was 11 %. Way better than the 23% moisture of HD and Lowes crap lol Great video
Spring looks to be the most challenging season to get things done in the woodyard. I still enjoy watching the wood splitting, but am worried about your shoukders.
I think I may have had 5 hours sleep finishing some of the old videos of you playing in the dirt. And here we are back at the maybe but he wood? Take care
Love my morning routine. Coffee and the guys in the woodyard. Now you should pay a high-school kid 20 30 bucks and toss all the old stuff high on the other end.
It might be neat to see where that wood was moisture. Voice , especially some of those pieces that were laying on that sounds like it's gonna be a good one
If putting straight on the ground wont it soak up moisture from the ground? It should be fine i think if everything is froze and moved before it thaws out. Thats what i would be worried about if staying there a long time.
I know.... But it was just a little. You know your customers and do a great job servicing them, I can see. But would they get upset at a little dirt? Can't wait to see the video tomorrow on the "orange and black" saw. Great channel, my first stop in the mornings!!
Here in the Philadelphia region the Ash trees are all just about rotted away and going extinct so yeah, get them while they are still thriving. I have a spot up the road there's like 50 poles with all the branches blown off and you can tell they would not even be good firewood anymore. At least Penn State has recently come out and said the Spotted Lanternfly is not as much of a threat as originally thought. That has probly not even made it to Wisconsin yet. Nasty buggers.
Pig fence here 2”x2” and 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 size hole between the wire . Your state probably use security fence wire see around car lots and schools yard . 😊
Are you trying to convince me or yourself that the rains will wash the mud off the wood? Because I can tell you from experience. There will not be enough water getting down in the pile to ever wash it off. It doesn't hurt anything but does add to mess if burning inside a home or business. I am glad it didn't pick up anymore than it did.👍
Yup, I like to tell myself what I want to here every day... like I am in-shape (round) and good looking (old) and smart (81 I.Q.) !! The wood will sell and burn.
Im so used to being on the starboard side, that you standing on the larboard side just seems strange. . Strange like you've had forks on a tractor for a decade, and put the OE bucket back on strange. A theres nothing wrong with it, its just strange. Your so used to it the other way. Just my bazaar comment of the day. Anyway keep on, keepen on.
Chris , I would take down them wood pallets look 👀 like 👍 a mess . Go get few roll of pig 🐖 wire fence to run 🏃♂️ along your wood . Just have to put steel or wood 🪵 post to hook 🪝 fence on to . Bert or his man must have a farmer # to go it for cost 💲 for you . Look 👀 better and air travel better threw your firewood 🪵. Plus roll your fencing back went your pile is almost clean out . Look 👀 like a third country woodyard with them old pallets everywhere in your video. 😮

Morning. Tomorrow, there is another video on my channel, so you'll get woodyard overdose tomorrow
Thanks!
Thanks for serving TW
Sometimes extra pretty takes more time and effort than it's worth. Your wood storage looks great. 😊😊
So true!
I leave debris around my splitting stump to keep the splits out of the mud. Works for me anyway.
Yup, it keeps the wood off the mud!
Great job!! Now on to the next task In the Woodyard!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
That's the plan!

Yup, you are correct! More machinery is needed.
Always a great feeling cleaning/finishing up a pile!
You got that right!

Nice job!
Is that bin behind you empty?
I would have expected you to be nearly out of dry wood by March.
How much dry wood do you currently have left?
I have a lot of dry wood this year, sales are down....
Good morning Chris!!😀😀
Hello Mr. Al!!
Good Morning.
If you get rain like we had last night, your wood will be pristine.
I hear an Echo Echo Echo
Yup, we had biblical kind of rain here too!
Morning Chris can only imagine how much wood that machine has split for you?
A few sticks...probably over 600-700 full cords??
G’morning Chris ! O !! The humanity. Look at all the carnage. Looks great.
GoodNightIrene
Morning! Carnage is what I do.
Great leg workout at the end!! I bet that got the pumper moving!!
It was!
Thanks chris i appreciate the video

It sure is. Yup, my right shoulder is not 100% any more!
@@InTheWoodyard Hope you feel better soon. Any way you could use the elevator? Or is it still too muddy?
Well we’re going to have to start calling you Chris Armstrong 😮😊❤

Wood heat by nature is a dirty affair. Don’t sweat the small stuff!
Yup and it is the best heat!

It was ash so I am sure low and lower now that it is split and in the bin!

Yes some wood does suck up moisture a lot....red oak is one kind.
That's alot of chucking of the wood in the opposite direction of the truck. Have a great day.
Yup.
Good morning!
Hello there other one.
Good morning all!
Hello!
I winder if we will ever have ash trees again in the US. Ash was very popular around here about 25 years ago.
Maybe ...like the elm trees some are coming back. But it will be many decades before any big ones are around.
I could call Gerry with a G but for channel traffic I will ask here, any idea appx cost of the single wedge for the Ultra?
I paid $200ish but now my guess would be over $300???
@@InTheWoodyard Thank you!
Chris, at the 4 minute mark, that Ash or Maple you are spitting?
Whatever it is, splits so easy. Reminds me of a knot less piece of Hickory.
Ash
I think ash.
I split wood this past Sunday. Ohhhh it smells so good. Thinking I may do more today.
Yup, splitting wood is great! Get to it!
I ordered the ultra, wish they still had that honda engine
When you get it sell the other one and buy one and slap it on.
That splitter is bad ass. What splitter is that again?
Eastonmade Ultra
Thanks
Why not leave the debris for mulch to cover the mud
Because saw dust and bark turns into more mud and holds the moisture so that the ground turns into a mess all the time then.
Ash makes a lot of ash when burned. That was a lot of wood that was dumped there. Made real nice firewood.
Yup.
What's the problem with a bit of dirt on firewood???
I sell all the wood to people who burn it in their fireplace IN there house. Not many ask for mud on their firewood.
I know.... But it was just a little. You know your customers and do a great job servicing them, I can see. But would they get upset at a little dirt?
Can't wait to see the video tomorrow on the "orange and black" saw. Great channel, my first stop in the mornings!!
Customers paying top dollar for wood to burn inside their homes really dislike it.
Good morning Chris. How’s your right shoulder after throwing the splits into the bin. Thought you should have used the elevator .
It is still attached, sort of.
I seen one report a few months ago. The ash bug is here here in soththern Oregon. Dont know if that's true, but it is only a matter of time..
Yup, nature always does its own thing.
that wood it the dirt you need to sell it all for premium organic fire wood best nature has to offer
Good idea!
Good morning Chris have a good day ( Ty Ron
Hello!
Don’t forget to clean that mess and feed the cats😊
Yes boss.
Hey Chris! We forgive you for those 4 or 5 semi-dirty pieces of wood. Take care!
Thanks, I was worried!

Some people like dirty wood lol 😮
Yup.
The only cure, for the negative comments is, to not give them attention.
All the CS-7310 P needs is a muffler mod then it really rips. Keep on cutting ECHO.
That is what others have said too.
Wood looks fine. GNI
Yup!
Could you take a day one day and do clean maintance
Probably no. I have to much to do to spend time polishing stuff and with repairs they are as needed.

We operate from both sides. If we are splitting for hours at a time it is good to switch every hour or so.
Looking forward to that new chainsaw video.
in a couple days!

Put you panties back on ...soon ....you will see it!

Seems u lied about using the new saw in the next video. Why should i watch your channel if your going to lie?
I make a video EVERY day and the new saw will be cutting tomorrow. This video was miss dated so it ran first. Sorry about that.

Throw wood backwords
I do that too sometimes.
Is there a different splitting wedge you can get for the processor that will split your wood smaller so that you don’t have to re-split it?
Yup. Also the size of logs you feed it matters a lot. The big 18-22 inchers make bigger splits than the 6-12s.
👍👍👍
Thanks!!!
