Great video!! We definitely love our Super Split and would be lost without it. There will always be a home for at least one in our woodyard. Great kindling machine too.
Thanks Jerry. That’s a great splitter and probably the best bang for your buck out there. We all have different ways of doing things. One way doesn’t work for all
Nice to see how the channel is growing and a cool splitter, those super splits are a heck of a machine. They all have their purpose and for the money they are amazing
That is the largest Super split I have seen. That machine really has a fast cycle time. That stacking machine of yours is sure efficient. Trying new things is fun and having friends around makes the day go faster. Anyone that has a woodyard always has something to do.
It was fun to catch up with Curtis as its ben a few yrs . When he called an said he wanted to bring up a super splitter i was like heck ya this is gona be a fun day .
Great video guys! Got some wood split and some experience with the Super Splitter. Loading it up on the pallet was genius and a back saver 👌🏻 Sounds like the kindling is busting at the seams 😅
It was a fun day it’s ben a few yrs since we got to hang out with Curtis and we got to play with his super splitter as well . Them 6 ft long pallets are just the trick for loading into a pick up truck. Kindling is adding up fast around here but that’s Fridays video .
Hi Phil and Karen. That splitter is fast! But, Phil has it down Pat with old Buster, lol. After you get used to it, it will be a lot better 👍🏼. How lovely of Jacob to bring it over to you two 😃
Thats a fast splitter! Being able to use both sides is handy. Phil i went and looked at that conveyer, its old and too much to change, it drives off a tractor drive shaft and has those big square chain links to drag like a manure spreader, looks heavier than a bobcat. sure looks better at 55 mph
Nice to see Curtis in the Wood Yard today! That's a nice mobile splitter. Phil you need one as a back up for Buster! Looks very safe too! Love your road trips, and wood yard visitor series video's! ❤💜
Phil and Karen When you strat pine bundle wood , would you set upthe pancake compressor and wolferidge bundler and Karen can bundle out of the trailer . Then stack on pallet and then cover it with black plastic . It should dry in month or so . Thanks Leonard
we did do that late last summer and the bundles seem to be holding up well. we're stacking the pine as we split it for now. i usually bring the pallets into the shop and we bundle them from there still not sure if that is the best process or not yet but we are constantly trying to make things quicker and easier
Phil I have watch all of your and Karens video two and more times . It would save time by not having to moveing the trailer. Thanks@@AllenFamilyFirewood
Hello Phil and Karen. That splitter seems to be fast but it needs a larger tray to work on. I think if that was a vertical splitter like buster it would be more efficient. Especially if it uses less fuel. Thanks for another good video.
Thanks Dono they make them now with a bigger table, this one was about 8 years old they made a few improvements to them ole buster is still the winner in my opinion lol
That is a great splitter and fast. I was amazed what it went through. Jacob @ Twin City Firewood has a Super Split. He split every thing with his. I don’t know Curtis. Phil put some info out on that splitter. They’ll give us 20 percent off. Maybe?
Thanks Al. I watch Jacobs channel and think those splitters are great for the cost for sure. Curtis said he gets the from a father and son Super Split dealer, (Paul & Connor) out of Bridgewater, MA
@@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood Curtis is a friend of mine from way back an when he said he had one of them I asked him if he would bring it up for the day .
Hello Phil and Karen, that's a fast splitter for the set up horizontal. The wedge isn't as big as buster,so bundle grade might not be as efficient. But I'm impressed. My county line has 11.5 second cycle time.much fast then mine.free IBC totes, worth the time to travel, find a good place for lunch🍻
we talked about that Brent the wedge should be higher this machine was 8 years old, so maybe they make them bigger now, not sure we'll definitely drive for those free totes! lol
I really like the Super Splitter! Jacob at Twin City Firewood has one and they are truly gas sippers!! It’s definitely on my radar as a new splitter. Thanks for sharing Phil and Karen👊🏻
That looks like a nice Splitter Looks like you just got it get used to it I like that But you gotta watch your fingers Phil Stay safe my friend have a good day
I like ya thinken I bet that would work good but he just came up for the day so we could try it out . I like trying out other splitters an learning new stuff . Hopefully one of these days we will get to try out one of them like yours .
Hello you two, just watched a video put out by Mike McMoney sawing sticker stock on his mill, hope you get your hands on some Poplar- think you said up there it goes straight to the trash piles, makes great kindling. See you soon
Thanks Mike I will go ck out his video . I split Popular for burning in our shop . People around here don’t want it in there hardwood delivery’s . Only problem I have with poplar is you have to keep it under cover it’s like a sponge . It dose make great kindling but once ya split it and get it dry you perdy much need to keep it inside . Once pine is dry it can get wet an a day later it’s dry again so that’s why we ben using the pine instead .
I can see one of these in your wood yard. We love hours. I have the bigger table that he mentioned. For the price there is nothing faster. Buster is tough to beat. Great video
Sure is probably the fastest splitter on the market. I still think Buster is faster lol that may just be the difference between horizontal and vertical bigger table is definitely a plus Jerry
I was looking at these this morning. FAST cycle time. It's all about 'Do you want to spend an hour tearing it up or do you want to spend an afternoon?" 2 second cycle time vs 10? It's a huge difference.
Great stacking Phil. 🤭🤭🤭 Those splitters seem to work good. You know guys, there’s the thing for your kindling wood splitting. They make small electric ones that work the same way as that big one. Just a thought. Some quick. Have a great week team. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻🪵🪓🔥
guess i have to stack the wood sometimes. not making a habit out of it though! lol we tried that electric splitter, just isn't gonna work for the production i want to put out they definitely serve their purpose though take care Noel!
Hello Little Miss M,- that really made me laugh, hello Phil, never saw Karen so happy, smiling ear to ear, whistling a happy tune, all because the old boy was stacking! That’s a nice machine, has its place for many guys, with your Buster, complete control, split it right the first time, easy on the old body- can work all day and not be wiped out so you could take Karen out to dinner and dancing- if your so inclined!
Karen was in her glory with me stacking lol i think that's one of the best splitters on the market for the money it's fast and does a great job i think the big rounds are better split on Buster though Thanks Mike now shes gonna want me to take her out lol
Glad it made you laugh Mike, you certainly make us laugh enough!! 😂 Dinner and dancing! 😀 We sure could tear up a rug in the early days…not so sure how it would look now 😂 I’m game though!!
You would do just fine, get out the hairspray, created that “Big hair”- Phil wears his “Members Only” jacket and “ Party like it’s 1999”- what great memories😂
He used the strike hold on the beem a the rollers an he said it worked just as good as wd40 but we didn’t get that part in the video . I’ve used it on other things an it seems to stay longer an stick better than wd40 . I haven’t tryed it as a penatrating oil to loosen nuts but on high wear items I think it works really well.
I contemplated buying one of those before I made my purchase seem like a nice machine. Just felt like the four and six way splitter serve me better ! I laughed whenever you said this looks sharp enough to chop my thumb off also 🫣🤣
Can’t go wrong with a 4 or 6 way especially the way you have it set up . I like your use of the bucket an having the splitter in the trailer to save on lifting or the need for a conveyor. For some reason I tend to get gun shy around splitters that are fast an have sharp blades lol .
Great machine! Prob the most productive splitter for the money out there.
i definitely agree Joe that thing is fast and easy to move around
Great video Phil, Karen, and Curtis. The Super Split is fast! It looks like it would be really good as a re-split machine.
Thanks Dick! it really is fast
Nice splitter. Just got mine last week. It’s still crated and on the pallet. Can’t wait to start using it.
Congrats! They’re great splitters
The Super Splitter is very hard to beat for the money and production, great video Phil and Karen.
It sure is Bill that thing is fast Thanks!
Great video!! We definitely love our Super Split and would be lost without it. There will always be a home for at least one in our woodyard. Great kindling machine too.
They really are great machines not sure if i want to put my fingers that close to make kindling though lol
@@AllenFamilyFirewoodyou definitely have to be paying attention but I can see why you would be Leary about it

the work never ends around here James this machine was the heavy duty version that may be why it's bigger sure is fast
It's definitely a fast machine. Good to have help in the woodyard, especially when the bring cool tools😁. Great video y'all.

it's super easy to move around great splitter

Phil and Karen.. you both are a hoot.. karen suggesting that phil stacks. 😂😂
she thinks she's funny Daniel lol
That is a perfect resplit machine if you had a processor. Thanks for showing the super split! - Tyler
yup that's what a lot of people use them for as well they seem to do better on smaller pieces than huge rounds
I wonder if you put a fence on one side so that you and produce similar size pieces for your bagged product line.

hi there well done john
Thanks John!
Good kindling splitter
i'm not really comfortable making kindling with that machine fingers get a little too close!
Super split is really nice for small splits.
It really works great for the small splits just not gonna try splitting kindling on one a little too fast
There is your kindling buster. Buster Jr….. 😂
lol i don't think I'd like splitting kindling on that thing i want to keep my digits
Fast little sucker. You guys should have a guest on every week helping in the yard. Free meal and beer, too.
Come on down Kenny! lunch and beer on us lol

exactly. they are fast and they do a great job with the splits shears through knots really well that was the heavy duty version
Don't let Phil near your woodyard. Everything will break 😂😂
Lol, good point Brandon! That’s probably why Curtis looked a little nervous when I said we’d come to his woodyard
Phil look 👀 super split got a Honda engine 😊.
That it does! Sure is easy on the gas too

Always a pleasure watching your work and videos there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the wood yard 😮😊❤
Thanks Todd! We try and keep it fun and interesting. It helps to keep the stacking machine around lol
The only thing that would make that super split better would be if it was positioned as a vertical splitter like your Buster or our SF-9T.
lol, i agree with that!
That’s cool.
Thanks! great machine
Ek hou van hierdie interessante masjien. 👍🤝

i was a little leary of it but I'm used to a vertical
Super splitter use it to split kindling

i agree Dan. they are good machines though
What’s price of a new super split ?
Curtis said he thought they were around $3200 now. Don’t quote us on that though
Phil wedge is to short , need to be higher iiii iiii think 🤔 Phil . 😊
i agree Leonard we talked about that they may be higher now, this one was about 8 years old
How much do you pay for the metal pockets
our last order they were about $3.50 each
Try it for kidling
I wouldn't want to get my hand that close to split kindling on that thing i like my thumbs too much lol
