    hi KP, i notice you did not pre-blanch the sotong but still come out beautifully. but sometimes i see people who dont blanch it , alot of water will come out. Under what circumstances will you pre-blanch? thanks!

      I did not pre-blanch but put it in the colander to drain. I guess it works. Since it is a curry and wet, it will dry in the cooking process.
