@Z1, you should save up enough money to buy all of the raw malt needed for a contract because the reward is the bonus money you get for completing it. So for the 22 bags of raw malt contract you would get the normal money you make for crushing the grain and $567.28 extra. The game wanted you to start by grinding out a few contracts before you unlocked the basement.
Those most impressive part of this episode, from the point of view of a trucker, was the ability of the truck to back into that dock with so little space on either side of it with such confidence!
this game looks like it has so much potential, I just hope they open it up to modding. If modders could mess around with this game they could make it so much better. My biggest problem that I can see from this playthrough is the lack of basic automation. As an example, the person loading the crusher, it should be possible to add multiple tasks to him and arrange priorities of the tasks. The end effect would be that his first priority would be loading the crusher, if nothing is available to crush he would then be tasked with stacking pallets at a set location. The effect would mean that the player can just focus on bringing the pallets of malt. The player could then assign the person who operates the second station on the crusher to focus on operating the machine but if the pallet is full he would stop. Also if operating the machine stops he would check to see if the pallet location was empty, if so he would pick up a pallet from a set location. the end result, you no longer have product falling all over the floor making a mess and as long as you pull the full pallets out of the zone he will grab a pallet and keep working. A smart factory manager will set the crushed malt employee to pick up pallets from the same location that the raw malt employee is set to stack pallets. All the player would need to do then is bring the raw and take the crushed. Suddenly that machine is automated. All that being said, I have to wonder, when Z attempted to assign an employee to the forklift I think it was still very early in the playthrough... My thought is, what if, at that time, the employee was not a high enough lv to be qualified to operate the forklift? I think the first employee that was hired is the one operating the brewing still, as the highest lv employee it might be interesting to see if he is able to operate the forklift now that he is a much higher lv?
Z, you must unlock the Forks when placing product in the pickup. If the Forks are not unlocked, it cannot "drop" the pallet. EDIT: FYI, I've already unlocked the Docks and sold a single pallet of bottled beer. Make sure you have a SUPPLY of bottled beer to sell. Otherwise it's barely worthwhile. A single Pallet of Beer is only a few hundred dollars and EACH Semi costs one hundred dollars. I'd guess each Semi can hold AT LEAST 6 Pallets and maybe more...
You can assign a worker to the crane however they do not do anything yet, you still have to do the loading and unloading yourself for now. The control is the other computer in the docks office.
Have you consider putting more than one pallet spot at the end of the grein crusher? Right now your workes Are empting 3-4 pallets, and its all just spilling out of the other end😊
I think that does not matter, the worker at the end of the crusher js only working on the machine and not picking up the sacks to drop them on pallets sadly :(
From what I have seen about this game it looks fun and interesting but it definitely needs some polish. The physics aren’t great and like you and others have pointed out it needs to have some level of automation for moving pallets around. The main issue I see right now though is that the physics and general stability is no where near good enough to allow the AI to drive the forklift (or the pallet mover thing) without getting stuck or glitching through walls or floors. The first thing they need is to make the game itself stable and fix the physics and collision detection, only then could they even hope to make it possible for the AI staff to properly use any pallet moving equipment.
You know, you don't have to put the pallet spots against your tracks an can leave some room, had seen issues in the bottling area when you don't space them properly to allow some walking.
Z, I love the content, but you'd save yourself a lot of grief, If you'd just listen to the game, and try to complete the objectives! you haven't even produced and sold your first batch of beer yet. the rest will come after you complete the goals the game has set for you to complete.
Just started to play this game, nothing but problems... after completing deliveries and validating the contract. You can't exit the computer with the ESC key, and the only way out is Alt F4 to exit the game completely. If I do other things on computer I can exit out of it. Very frustrating
I saw somewhere that if you get storage shelf’s/units the workers can grab stuff from there so all you have to do is load the storage. All looking at the economy exchange (I think it’s called) to purchase goods as it tells you when there cheap etc
Bought this game Today it’s so broken can’t even get past creating recipe stage, button doesn’t work so stuck in the progression of game seems after latest patch it caused more issues.
for me its been raining and snowing for the past 3 days and very harsh winds to the point it kinda removed the roof off of my hut thing in the backyard but it was tied down with plastic so it was bound to happen 0:41
Can you assign a higher level worker to the forklift? Having multiple worker operated forklifts will improve efficiency. Can you sell off equipment that you're not using/wanting? Eg the extra bottling machines.
if devs are watching this i have some ideas 1. Multiplayer where you can set up other people in an department like bottle, export/buying, and brower 2. mods like money or other types of stuff 3. diffrent type of bottles like cans and kegs 4. gamemodes like creative and harder modes 5. ai forklift driving also you can make you're own computer and desk and coffee machine and in the delivery room between the office and down ramp is some money pls pin

I will have to check this game in a year or so, at this point it is as you said a Forklift Simulator, not a Beer Factory Simulator.
Z, as a qualified forklift driver you keep triggering my OCD by not putting the forks flat on the ground after you've finished using it.
What's wrong with that? 😅😅
@@Jacktan9203you ever slam your shin or head on one or have it fail and come down on your foot?
@@jcarboni87 no hahaha
Hahahaha I was thinking that myself too. I'm also a certified forklift driver.

The yellow marker is broken with this update. It’s supposed to mark the computer for the “order bottles” task
Amazing video love your energy keep up the amazing work 🔥🔥
Totally love this series, keep it up!
Great series! My most nervous time is whether the pallet through wall -thing is still working! :D

Get that turbo spooling on that beast !!! 🤣
@Z1 build everything on the docks. Bottlers everything. You can use the crane to move everything around.
You can assign a worker to the crane however they do not do anything yet, you still have to do the loading and unloading yourself for now. The control is the other computer in the docks office.
yay the only person to use the pallet shelves 2:24

TAB- to bring up management, then look around, will show all employee locations, and what job they are performing

for quick cash and rep, buy 48 crushed malt, and move it the 10 feet to the trucks, doing multiple contracts very quickly.
i opened this video and my browser decided that it wants to use 5000mb of ram to run this one video, must be a good one lol.
you are fast at upploading these videos
How did you build the shelves? On the docks? That's where I'm stuck and can't find the episode where you build them
You know, you don't have to put the pallet spots against your tracks an can leave some room, had seen issues in the bottling area when you don't space them properly to allow some walking.
Love it, need more!
This series always makes me thirsty hahaha
i think you can automate some by adding loading spots to the out puts then have people move from them to the next step but need alot of poeple
The game is interesting, but still way to rough at this point.
i haven’t finished video yet but you might be able to put bottling machine in basement where you have easy access to loading docks
Can you add conveyors to your crusher’s in and output to add more employees and increase profits?
you cant i reached that part of the game and it basiclly becomes a forklift simulator at that point
If you order trucks and keep them in bay till there full there is no time limit it seems

WIth the contracts don't you get the selling money + the contract money?
heey buddy if you go to the dok buidling go to office you have 2 pc,s left to order stuff right one is to controll the crane
I saw somewhere that if you get storage shelf’s/units the workers can grab stuff from there so all you have to do is load the storage.
All looking at the economy exchange (I think it’s called) to purchase goods as it tells you when there cheap etc
Why do that truck backing sound likea sci-fi space ship about to explode?
So idk because I haven’t played this game but maybe you can use convayors to move stuff rather than pallets
its not a automation game lol
Ayyee top five!
Why are you not doing contracts??? It gives more money right??

You might be able to put a grain crusher down stairs next to your brew tank
z1 gaming that mop you tried to use is for wet messes not dry messes
What happened to the intro video
shhhhhhh, just let it be
you can fit more if you got played Tetrise just saying 27:21
Pls moreee od this
and there was some buttons that lets you automatically load the pallets
i saw that you can place your own computer
Why don’t you except contracts? To make money
Can you assign a higher level worker to the forklift? Having multiple worker operated forklifts will improve efficiency.

Are you able stack pallets say 5 pallets loading bay so u dont do one by one🤔🤔🤔
