The raised neck bin bestows some much-needed proportion to the Imperial design. It looks good on its own (i.e., the classic Imperial Dalek), but when you see it side-by-side next to a Shawcraft original Dalek you realize how disproportionately compacted the Imperials’ midsections really are. Your new neck design goes some way to alleviating that. Your Supreme Dalek - Imperial Dalek dome light hybrid design is very good!
I'm not the biggest fan of red on daleks, however I still like what you produced here. It's a fun design and I like the idea of just making them taller not only for the status but also just to make them more likely to fall over.
I feel off when people change the colours of the Imperials. Red works well enough but there were a few Daleks seen with the red one that I'm not too fond of. Tbh I think black would have worked so much better, black and gold is a tried and tested colour scheme when it comes to Daleks and I've seen some pictures of a black imperial prop that was once in existence, amazing
ooooo I love this, I did make a massive statement about what I liked but it all got deleted as I clicked on another video 😫 but I cannot do this again as im not feeling right at the mo, but lovely attention to detail on this build as always love seeing IMPs as they are my favs ever and this inclusion of the red with the taller neck fits in perfectly and yes instantly knew where this was from. lovely work on the dome lights as same with the supreme from the 2 part story, I thought the supreme was black and gold? love the attention to detail on the base as well with the small chamfer like the NSD and Liberian bot models from years ago all in all keep it coming with the imps from me that is 😅 cant wait to see what more you have in store for designs. If I had to make a suggestion, how about a mix of the Imps to the NSD to fill the gap of the wilderness years or even your own design to get to the NSD, Id love to see that. Cameron 😁
Thank you so much! Glad you liked the design! I actually think of the Paradigm design as being what should have come after the Imps, as that's kinda the lore given in Victory of the Daleks (and the 2005s were made for the Time War or something). If the 05s are easier to mass produce, it would explain why they come back again after the Paradigm restarts the Empire, though I have given up on that making sense... I don't remember them mentioning in the story what color the Supreme was, but I didn't relisten for this, just remembered the character lol. I know Prydonian did a black and gold design he posted to his twitter, which does look really nice, I just wanted to make something very different from his. A NSD and Imp mix is definitely tempting.... I might have to add that to the list! I have a full animation coming out in about 2 weeks then probably a slight break lol. I know I want to go full steam ahead on my ground up Dalek redesign next, at least in terms of models. That definitely won't be the next video like this I release though, my animation has a TON of Dalek designs to talk about!
This is a really good design, however, I was always picturing the Imperial Dalek Supreme to have a shiny Gold Coloring with Bronze sphericals or whatever their called.
Reminds me of the newer Imperial Dalek short by Mestor Magnificent He's the guy who made that action figure story "the Abomination" (based on the Remembrance novelisation) a couple years back? Yall both do great work 👍 Talking of Imperial Supremes, isn't one of them the latest Dalek "origin" wider canon has given for the Time War Emperor? Time Lord Victorious if I'm not mistaken
I'll have to look at his stuff! Thanks! I believe the intention is that the Emperor in TLV is the same one from Evil of the Daleks and Parting of the Ways (and the Time War). I haven't read everything from TLV, but in the audios and Daleks they didn't have a Supreme show up I think...
I do like just a plain red (more of a commander) and black (supreme) in the Imperial style. Reminds me of the Dapol figures so I’d love to see this combo in an animation some time. This Supreme is great work but its flaws for me are just where I’m not so keen on the new series supreme design
The Red Dalek looks very cool..
I like to think this red design is an homage to the original concept design for the imperial daleks.

The Red looks great!
Thanks!
Awesome. Prob my favourite redesign
i love this in every way honestly need more dalek material in the world
I'm going to build this guy as soon as I'm done with my Renegade dalek build, this is great.

I mean, there is already a Black Renegade Supreme, so maybe he just wanted to do something different.

Needs the bar things
Big Red
Hey Chris if I may ask are we allowed to use your design of this imperial supreme, you will be credited of course.
