Here's my suggestion: starts with the painting of Gallifrey falls. Zoom out to reveal it sitting in a room on the TARDIS. Then the camera pans through the TARDIS corridor. The TARDIS corridor takes the role of the time vortex: a long tunnel that the camera travels down. We get the names. Then, when the music gets to the triumphant bit, we reach the console room. The camera slowly pans around and comes to the doors. The music gets dramatic again. The camera flies out of the doors and into the time war. A dalek flies past, knocking the camera. Time lords firing guns. Explosions. Then it comes to one man who's facing away from the camera. He turns around and we get the title card.

Only thing I dislike about this design is the neck rings it’s too jarring of a design change

This is less “fixing” them and more overcompensating by going too far in the other direction, making them TOO similar to prior designs. I’d have kept the black neck rings, the spiky eyestalks, and perhaps even the comically oversized gun sticks. All the Paradigm really truly needed to fix them was a fresh coat of paint to prevent them looking like plastic toys.

I love all of the 1960s designs, but don't really like any of the gunmetal grey ones.

The problem with Paradigm Daleks is that we never got to see them at there full potential. They had large humps because it was originally supposed to open up at the back of the skirt and swivel unique attachments along the center that would replace the plunger when needed. Budgets never allowed us to see this on screen, and I've always wanted to. Shame. BTW - I LOVE your redesign. If I were to tweak anything . . . I'd keep the rings under the head/dome the same gun metal black as the center of the frame for a little contrast. Fantastic work.

Something about the marriage of the blue Hartnell / _Dead Planet_ casings with the golden / bronze middle-section strips of the AARU Daleks really pops ay. OK, in fairness this is basically AARU colouration but I still love the mix of warm and cool tones on the Daleks’ casings 👍

why hang on to a dead show so much ? The best years of doctor who were the ones with ecclestone tenant and Smith . after that it only went worse to even worse and to completly dead now .

I like to think this red design is an homage to the original concept design for the imperial daleks.

I actually really like this redesign. When the paradigm Daleks were revealed I liked the height of them, because something about the deadliest creature in the universe being shorter than the a lot of people made them seem slightly comical to me. That being said, the new proportions that you have shown actually look a lot better. They’re not as bulky as the Paradigm 1.0. I really like the metallic paint and more muted colours. The fact you were able to add the plunger and gun with little to no changes too show how disproportionate it was in the Paradigm 1.0. I like the dome too. With the eyes-stalk I would maybe like to see a bit more texture, maybe add the “fins” but not as prominent. Other than that. A brilliant redesign. The side by side comparison really shows how big of an impact a few minor tweaks can have. The Paradigm 1.0 almost looked like it had a hunch-back! If they looked like this the first time around, I don’t think people would have many issues. Great job!!

I like the logo being more three dimensional, giving texture to the letters and lines, which is better than just slapping the logo on like in the actual opening titles for the sixtieth anniversary specials.

Absolutely beautiful, I hope the bbc see this because this is probably the best dalek design I’ve ever seen, on the show or fan made. I hope at least that fans will make builds of this if the bbc doesn’t pick it up

GODDAMN IT! Now I want this to be real! Full series for the War Doctor! I know John Hurt's dead, but they recast William Hartnell, surely they can find someone to play a young John Hurt. There's an alternate universe where this happened, I'm sure of it, and I want to go there.

The Hartnell Daleks were silver/grey and blue too. Also, they had the large bases in the 2nd Hartnell Dalek story " Dalek invadion of Earth ", both of which pre-date the Cushing films.
