This is as far as the guitar can get, when it comes to Romantic. The most amazing thing about Petra Poláčková (and she has oh so many) is definitely her phrasing. Here and there (and mostly in the celebrated Ständchen) she literally grabs the music from the hands of Franz Liszt, to give it back to Schubert and make it sound like a song again. And hey, Mertz did a decent work, too :)
This is incredibly good. Not only she's a totally amazing player, but also she keeps a thorough concentration. And she's not showing naked arms and shoulders, which helps to focus on the music.

To my ear this is the perfect guitar tone, robust and with the full body that playing with nails often does not produce.

Lovely playing. Is the guitar based on the Ries 9 string?
It's based on 9-string Franz Feilnreiter, which is exactly the same as 1840 8-string Ries but with an extra string.
