That’s bad ass
J'adore 10/10 👍👍
Yeah 😎🎸
This is a Gen 1 FFR 33. The Gen II is a much better option. Still a nice build.
I bet the removeable top is a bear to remove.
That's beautiful, and so well built. Any reason it doesn't have shoulder straps on the seat belts?
They're visible at 3:00.
@@MrSirlulzalot Good spotting, thanks.
So I guess the question is, what's the reason the driver and passenger chose not to use them? Is it not a legal requirement in that state, or in the states?
@JakobusVdL hey good to hear from you 👍 thanks. You know, I'm not a lawyer, but depending on the age of the car, as I understand it, some of them require no belts, some require lap belts, some require lap/shoulder belts...
Also, the video we saw looked fairly well contained, so...
Cheers@@MrSirlulzalot, I think you're right, here in NZ if a car didn't have belts or only lap belts, it can still be licenced and used like that - but I doubt a modern replica of an older car would pass initial certification without interia reel belts (or in special circumstances the 4 point belts like in the FFR 32). And if they're fitted, you are required to use them.
As a personal choice, I'd always use the full belts. I had a mate who had an accident in a car with just lap belts. It wasn't even a big impact, but the damage the belts did to his intestines was awful. His life wasn't much fun after that.
@@JakobusVdL Gotcha, good point and good to hear from you mate [is that what you say friend?]
I'm confused by this being called a "Roadster". Am I missing something?
The hardtop is removable and there is a separate roadster windshield that came with the car.
What a great birthday prize.
Nobody gives a damn about what you are doing in the car. They want to see it move. They want to hear it when it passes by. A few shots of the dashboard and instrument cluster.
